Thank you! The video definitely doesn’t give the fireflies their full credit.. seeing it with your own eyes is spectacular!

Yes it was. We were using a service to rent the canoes to thankfully they came and picked everything up for us and helped us start off. All we had to do was get the canoe to the drop off before they came to pick it up!

This has got to be one of the best nature videos i have ever seen, and i've seen a lot, spectacular job...
I can say for myself (Louisville resident) that we have some of the most breathtaking places to explore here, i recommend Mcneely Lake park or Broad Run Park...

It’s called a graveyard if it’s next to a church.

What were the swimming options like? River nice enough to take a plunge? The grotto? Thanks!!

River is very swimable.. wonderful sandy bottom. Wouldn’t recommend that grotto though, water was a little stagnant and bottom was very rocky.

Did you rent the canoe or bring your own?

We rented! There are a couple of places local.

The Campground is so disappointing, Nolin Lake Campground close to it is so much better.

Good advice.. the campground wasn’t much.
