Dacob, your understanding of perfume and ability to describe these scents is amazing❤💯. I walk away from any of your top 5/ top 10 videos wanting to spend at least $1,000.00 on new perfumes lol😂
You have got such a good taste Dacob. Oh you started with Loulou! Such a beautiful perfume in winter. I will never have fed up if this perfume ever. I wish I could get the old nice bottle and the shower gel, powder from the 80s. Such a shame we cannot get them anymore 😔
Thank you Helene, but this Lou Lou spray bottle s the same design as the spray bottle from the 80's. Lou Lou came in splash bottles (which we call the genie bottle and in spray bottles, like the one you see in my video here. I personally prefer the spray bottle cuz it looks like an 80's Star Wars space ship and I live for it!
Dacob, you have such a great talent of how to describe a scent. My wallet is not happy but my soul is very happy. Also I do agree that provided that fragrances are stored well, they won't go bad - or at least very rarely. I have Shalimar EDC from the 1960s and it still smells divine - better than the current version although IMHO Guerlain does quite a good job with reformulations. Lastly, thank you for sharing your opinion on Baccarat - I though I was going crazy when I got a sample as I couldn't understand how THAT fragrance could be so loved by so many people. It's really not that great. And for that price? Forget it.
I like how you said that you wouldn't want L'Eau Rouge to be long lasting and I agree! Chanel also made this line having 'holistic' in mind, and that to me is how I feel when I spray the mist. I like using some times during the day, also before bed and I feel good, or sleep well :) As for the N5 with wood, to me, Les Exclusifs Boy has that scent. Although two are totally different formula, I feel Boy smell like a boyish version of N5, and I love it❣
I love your fragrance videos! My top fragrances for winter are: Chanel Sycamore, Bois des Iles , No. 5 Pure Parfum, Coco EDP & EDT, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Noir Femme, Black Orchid, Halston, Opium (original), Cinnabar, Prada Amber, Hermes Amber, Lelabo the Noir, Must de Cartier & Must de Cartier Gold.
Amazing video . I’m totally agree with you especially about Liu, and the specific “Guerlain Vanilla” dna. And I can’t stand Bccarat Rouge as well 😅 A presto 🧡
Essence-ially Dacob just uploaded “My Top 10..” is my favourite kind of notification. I appreciate you and your channel so so much. That oakmoss vanilla drydown of Liu sounds just like my cup of tea. Must try it! And regarding the smell of snow in No 5 - it really does smell like the enourmous chunks of glacier broken down into the stream and floating slowly by you. That smell is in No 5 but I only get it in the edp. If even more so in Liu, I am gonna die of happiness. Reminds me of my Iceland that I cannot visit at the moment. My winter perfumes for this winter Chanel Gardenia edt Must de Cartier parfum Lanvin Arpege Dior Grand Bal Le Lion de Chanel Gucci Envy edt Sisley Soir de Lune and Chanel 1957 together No 5 EDP No 5 Parfum Marc Jacobs Essence Also, a question: Do you find there is incense in No 22 parfum?
Great video. Flowers in perfume do really present themselves differently in winter. You describe it so well. I need to figure out a way to sniff/get Liu here in the US.
Hey Dacob! Another beautiful review! No one describes scents the way you do. I am ditching all other perfume v/bloggers! One thing you mentioned about early 2000-s when you were clubbing, I look at you and think how old are you? you are certainly no older than 30, no older than my son and he is 36… of course you could have been clubbing at age of 12, 😎🌈❤️
Loving my Addict, my Joop! Le. Bain, my Velvet Orchid and my ELDO Charogne at the moment. ❤️ Wild card: Moth by Zoologist, for those days I’m feeling goth and baroque. Thank you Jakob for your great content! 🙏🏼❤️
Hardcore gothic (without rose): Relique d'Amour by Oriza L Legrand, holy moly, smells like you're in an old gothic church during a funeral. Cold! And one for a stroll through a dark humid forest: Chypre-Mousse, again by Oriza L Legrand.
Amazing list, Dacob! Here’s my top 10 Opium- Vintage EDT Obsession EDP (I switch between my modern & vintage bottles) Oscar de la Renta Vintage EDT Chanel No 5 EDP Chanel No 22 EDP Coco EDT Lost Cherry EDP Hypnotic Poison EDT Elie Saab Girl of Now EDP Lou Lou EDP (Just bought this one a few days ago)
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 Lou Lou is a fantastic fragrance. I had the genie bottle back in the day!. The reformulation is one of the few that I actually do like better than the original!

@@essence-tiallydacob9611 It's the spray bottle I was thinking about Dacob. I only got a miniature 😪 Thank you again for your fantastic reviews 😊
I meant the splash bottle 🤭

Did you try Vanilla Diorama by Dior ?
Baccara rouge is the expensive and overrated version of Chance people. Almost a bad dupe of the chanel one... Shame on you Francis !!!😲🤦♀️
Baccarat Rpuge is definitely not my cup of tea
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 and the market is full of much cheaper dupes for those who really like this smell, 240 euro for 50ml is theft!!!🤦♀️
