    The arduino uno shield template I get when I go to file-new project from template-arduino uno shield is a pcb populated with Connector_PinSocket_2.54mm:PinSocket_1x08_P2.54mm_Vertical which are female sockets like the ones that are on the arduino itself.
    Where can I find an arduino shield template populated with the kind of connecters shown in your video that have male pins on one side that will mate with the arduino and female on the other side that will allow more than one shield to stack on one another? Or can I just replace the connectors with the kind that I am describing? I do not know which ones to use.

      Thanks for your comment. You mean in KiCad or when you order it at a PCB manufacturer

      When you press Alt +3 you enter the 3d view then you can go to prefrences->choose colors->solder mask color. Here you can change colors of other settings aswell

      Hi 👋 mmm if you on Discord send me a message and I can try see. Might be easier of you send a screen shot of what it's saying. That is strange. Otherwise you can always email us at www.plumpot.co.uk 🙂. I'm glad you enjoying the channel😁

      same problem here :) I have KiCAD 7.0. Did you fix it?

  • @DCCEX
    @DCCEX Год назад +1

    I'm using Kicad 7 and the Mega headers are not the stacking ones with the long pins. When you look at the template comments before you create the project, there is a note that the author did not see long pins in the official Arduino parts library so only included short pins. Do you know how to either get the right template or find the right part and just put it in to get the longer headers?
