The only thing I'm not a fan of here is that it ramps all the way down to 320lumens. Even the $35 Wuben C2 stays at 700. Love the clever head design letting you switch flood and throw to either orientation. Very nice.
Issues with Two of these: I bought one and won one. First one wouldn't charge or discharge, and the second one is fine, except it goes into blue flashing light after only minutes of use at low to mid levels, but removing the battery and testing it shows 100%.
The biggest issue... It turns on at the lightest possible touch when either taking it out of a pocket or simply picking it up! Needs better buttons!!! 😬🔦😬
I’ve purchased my L1 and wouldn’t charge so they had sent me a “new” L1 and this one is still having the same issue

Careful with Wuben. I got a defective one. Sent a total of 5 emails and 3 vids explaining/showing the USB C TYPE PORT was not functioning correctly (wouldn't charge). They gave me 2 responses: 1) Watch this youtuber to learn how to use our light and 2) use the USB C TYPE PORT to charge the light. Flashlight build feels good, but their customer service is a joke. And no, they never resolved by problem.
Exactly the same experience here! I had to remove the battery in order to charge it. The other huge issue with this light is how easily it turns on when you don't want it to and there's no lockout. The only way to disable the light is to back off on the tail cap to disengage the battery. I have other Wuben lights and don't have the same issues as this one. They had the opportunity to make a very unique and usable light, but unfortunately there are numerous fails. 😢
Is this light suitable for a Firefighter? I’m in the market… must be waterproof and durable. Right angled etc. any other recommendations?
Should be fine, Wuben are pretty durable lights. Armytek make lot of tough right angle lights sold as headlamps but the UI's can be tricky to master.

@@probablyrichard I'd check some firefighter gear sites, with gloves on I doubt you'd be able to click the button and I don't know if you can take a non-rated flashlight into areas where a spark can ignite a gas. Have you looked at the Streamlight Survivor series?
