i have the mini and its one of the best flashlight you can buy with that price. especially on Olights sale. i got mine for 125 euros directly from olight france. my nitecore p35I cost me more at 135 euros. Love it.
i had the same problem. I live in belgium but the france shop only delivers to france. So i emailed them to see if it was possible to add my adress in belgium into their database. They very kindly accepted. Have you tried to contact them?@@Jamescreaney
Thanks mate! I do love the mini also. I don't use the RBG either but it is a nice additive. Perhaps they got rid of it in the 2 due to a lack of use. But the size of the mini is great. Circular hotspot too. Great light
I would somewhat disagree regarding the rgb being a gimmick. The reason being is that when I am fishing at night at the bottom of cliffs those functions serve me well Red and green mainly however I would perhaps like a larger battery for longer run times on the mini perhaps 2x 3.7v battery in a longer handle. I mount the torch on a small tripod and use it on a low setting perched on a rock providing me with a constant light opposed to my Ledlenser h19 sig head torch flashing and spooking fish wherever I turn my head. When I am fishing it could be 6/9hours I’m there so the longer run time wouldn’t go a miss changing batteries are a pain . Overall a cracking torch just needs more juice. Also the fact you can swap the batteries out is also a reason why I prefer the mini over the m2
@@flashlightcrazy thanks for your reply! Any other Olights you can recommend?? I’m looking at the Baton 3 Pro Max. I want something that is bright for 2 or 3 hours.
Hey i have a brand new x9r marauder, bought for my dad and he had a stroke before it came . Well its too much light for him. Ya know anyone who would trade even up the x9r for a fenix lr 50 r??
Seeker 4.. not the seeker 4 pro.. you won’t be disappointed. I have both lol. If you want to truly see something at 300 meters the seeker 4 or anything with over 40,000 candela will work well. The seeker 4 pro has more power but it’s a very very floody beam so it gets to about 250 meters. The seeker 4 beam is more condensed so it will throw light very far I love them both.
Look into the Javelot Long Range Outdoor Flashlight with Holster. It has a max output of 1,350 lumens The Javelot boasts an impressive 134,000 candela, allowing it to cast a focused beam up to 730 meters. It is a true thrower with a minimal amount of spill.
Ever since the chip shortage things that used to come with charging blocks, seemingly stopped, I think because parts were in such limited supply, they started cutting anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary, and since most people have more charging block for May know what to do with it seems like cell phones and flashlights, and all types of other rechargeables are just not coming with charging blocks like they used to a few years ago.
Hey there what's going on mate! I love both flashlights so I would get both of them if I could because they all look really strong for lighting up the way!
@@the_nma5119 ok thank you for the information I don't want to purchase anything that is going to be too heavy to carry.. also what do you usually EDC like what is everything that you Carry on you besides a flashlight
Gday mate, I’ve been tossing up between the marauder 2 and the imalent mr90 for a while. I just feel like the mr90 might be the better choise for much the same $$. Do you have any experience with the mr90 ? Cheers
Marauder Mini takes the win. Why? It's not about the lumens, it's about functionality. The Mini's spotlight features is why it wins. Who has ever heard of a square spotlight? What was Olight thinking 🤔 Lastly while you may think the magnetic charging is nice it becomes more and more difficult to charge your flashlight if the ring on the bottom light is scuffed or not cleaned off. I use my mini as a table torch and just scuffing the bottom plate causes issues charging.
^ This exactly. A more informative approach is test against manufacturers spec to see if output is overstated and confirm step down time isn’t overstated.
Great video, excellent comparison and stats. I like the flood and colors but not so much the spot light mode.

Mini is a beast! I love it and just got it during the Olight fall sale for a smoking price!!!
How much?
👍Great review and comparison👌. Love the Marauder mini. I do find the RGB a bit of a gimmick, although I do use the Red on occasion. 😊

I was the exact same until I started using the red. What a difference..

Can these amazing flashlights be carried in the airplane?
I want to strap one of these to my motorcycle helmet in case of emergencies, when riding off-road in remote areas. Which one would you recommend?
The mini. The marauder 2 will be wayyyy too heavy. and even the mini will be a struggle, strap it tight

I wanted to marauder 2, but I am not keen on that square spotlight.
Nice video, when I purchased mine two years ago, it came with a USB-C cable and charger. You did not mention it, are they not supplying it anymore ?
No charger for the MArauder 2 Just two way USB-C

Both lights are very nice
Like the Olight Marauder Mini have the Stars and Stripes Edition and paid $164 for it, prefer it over the Olight Marauder 2.
Wish the mini was USB c though.

Yes mini is better I love mine!!! On sale $133.00
I just bought the orange mini off tik tok shop for $112 on a flash sale and a discount coupon. I got it yesterday and really like it so far.
Marauder mini is better. replaceable battery, RGB colors, smaller, lighter, more handy. about half as expensive...
Also less bright.. the purpose of buying it.
Bigger is better 😊
If you feel like you need a light that you could beat someone to death with.. go with the marauder 2. lol
Haha
Just reading the tables we can all access is not particularly enlightening.
