I am considering of buying a food vacuum sealer for better meat and vegetable storage. I plan to reseal my grocery into smaller packages so that I can leave one small portion out for defrosting before I go to work, and it would not drip or stink up inside the refrigerator. Do you think it is a piece of equipment worth investing? I may even consider doing sou vide in future? My primary concern is: “Can we defrost meat and then marinate the meat by resealing the same bag again.”
I watched some US food channel programmes. Usually they marinate the meat before vacuum-sealing it, then place the food in freezer. On the day they wanna cook, they would defrost the food bag and then sous-vide. If you sous-vide food quite often, a food vacuum sealer definitely worths investing.
Do you recommend using the instant pot to prepare beef ribs first for households with induction stove? After instant pot, then use the pan to stir fry with veggies and Chinese seasoning? Thanks!
