    Love lentils! I make them at least once a month. Mine are not French, but here in Chile we have great lentils, they package them by size, and they do not split. I don’t even have to soak them. Great food.👍👍👍

    I ate a lentil salad in a brasserie in Bordeaux, and it was my favorite dish of the entire trip. Now I understand what I ate. They were small and dark - very different from what I have encountered in the US. So delicious!!

    I live on Lentils as they are so good for me. As regards Lentils du puy I buy from an English company Merchant Gourmet for the quality. I made a pot of Lentils du Puy with Shitake mushrooms yesterday and it Scrumptious.

    J'aime manger des lentilles, toutes sortes de lentilles. J'ai donc remarqué, bien sûr, qu'il y a des grandes différences. Discours très intéressant sur les lentilles du puys. Les lentilles en Allemagne explosent, mais nous avons aussi des lentilles d'autres pays, en particulier dans les magasins bio. J'attends avec impatience les prochains épisodes. Je suis particulièrement intéressé par la cuisine rurale du sud-est de la France.

Effectivement j’essaye de varier les sujets et les vidéos mais je dois dire qu’il n’est pas toujours facile de trouver les topiques ou recettes populaire. La cuisine française n’est plus vraiment en vogue mais je suis heureux de voir que beaucoup de gens apprécient la chaine et ses different recettes. Je continue à faire des vidéos en espérant que la popularité de la chaine grandisse et me permette de consacrer tous mon temps a cette passion. Merci et à bientot. 🙂

    Great post and am looking forward to the recipe but ...can you please give us some tips on purchasing these high quality french ingredients. I live in Tassie, is my only hope the internet? Prior to this informative video I had no idea French lentils were a thing...

      I use Nuts.com. They don't have French lendils, but they have many organic choices, 2nd best choice:)

    I only use Du Puy. I soak over night or 12 hours, then steam them for 12 minutes. Straight out of the steamer I toss red-wine vinegar that has been soaking herb d province. That's my base, then. Feta Cheese cubes and diced tomatoes, or sausages, or white fish ceviche (same red wine herb liquid) or anything you can imagine really. .

    I see many are asking the very question I have. Do you know where the non-splitting lentils might be purchased over here? Store? URL link on the internet?

      Richard Walker depends where you are but suprisingly they are not hard to find . Many contries now grow them in America Canada and Australia . It’s not the exact French ones but the non split effect is still there: www.royalnutcompany.com.au/general/lentils/dupuy-lentils

    Don't really care for lentils. It's a texture thing. Like chick peas (garbanzo beans) or black-eyed peas. Too grainy.
