Tepig has the worst design but is probably the best in terms of battles. High attack, sweeps 3 gyms and Girmsley, can reck some of the Pokemon in certain tough fights if strong enough.

You can tell there was a lot of love and thought put into the Elite Four battle theme. It's really well made and it's my favorite E4 theme

They're the hardest elite four members in all 8 gens.
You need to OP and grind you're Pokémon just to hit them harder.

1. Shauntal’s Pokémon: Cofagrigus, Jellicent, Chandelure and Golurk
2. Grimsley’s Pokémon: Scrafty, Krookodile, Bisharp and Liepard
3. Caitlin’s Pokémon: Reuniclus, Musharna, Sigilyph and Gothitelle
4. Marshal’s Pokémon: Throh, Sawk, Conkeldurr and Mienshao
A couple things: Grimsley's Bisharp is under leveled, and Marshal's Conkeldurr is not his highest leveled Pokémon to prevent his Mienshao from being under leveled.

@@ahyafikri4746 I respect your opinion, but I disagree. My Unfezant is not useless or even weak. I don't battle much with him, I use him to weaken the wild Pokemon so I can catch it. But when the topic is to win battles, my Unfezant is surely on.

I remember hearing this theme at 9 years old for the first time and it sparked my love for this type of music. I jammed for a good minute before actually battling

Let me share my experiences at these battles:
(My team was: Samurott - Archeops - Galvantula - Krookodile - Chandelure - Haxorus, later switched it to Reshiram.)
Shauntal: Pretty easy. Swept her entire team with Krookodile. I only used Galvantula for her Jellicent.
Grimsley: Another easy pie. (Used Samurott against his Krookodile, used Archeops against his Scrafty, used Krookodile against his Bisharp. Galvantula took care of the rest.)
Caitlin: Krookodile sweep.
Marshal: Archeops + Acrobatics = win.

Shantal is one interesting E4 member. An arena that's in a haunted library, with a lone Writer's desk in the middle, with the sounds of Thunder and Lightning outside. This gave me a chill when I was 10-11 ish. Looking back at it....It looks badass.
this game is crazy intense. makes me kinda nervous knowing I'll have to go through this crazy process again soon.

The Unova elite four theme is criminally underrated.
I remember using Giratina at the first elite four that is shown in this video then Kyurem and I’m just asking my younger self “how the hell did my brother get giratina in this game?!”
I've never played this game, and I haven't ever even seen the song in a battle, but I can still feel the stress and panic that everybody felt playing this.
I stand my ground when i say that these are the hardest elite four trainers out there

See, when liepard got poisoned it's like the purple Pokémon is more of a purple.
One thing I miss about Shauntal's old chamber in BW2 is the lightning effect. Spooky lamp is pretty cool, though.

@@miku0227 Beating her down it's pretty easy if you have a Krookodile, you can also use a bug type like Leavanny and sweep her easily excepting Sigilyph.
Two moves to guarentee victory over Caitlin: Quiver Dance and Bug Buzz
The best E4 with the theme that slaps the hardest.
I remember on my first playthrough I beat everyone easily except for Shauntal, it took at LEAST 300 soft resets to get past her, and I’m not blaming that on me being 8 years old at the time

Gothitelle is based on a goth or something but it doesnt have dark-type

Shantual and Chandelure... don't they complement each other very well? I think they match very well. Shantual is beautiful and also likes to jot down everything in her notebook. He spends most of his day with his notebook. I wish we could see Shantual not only in the game and manga but also in a pokemon series. As for the chandelure - it is rarely seen in the series. little known and cared about. he is a loyal pokemon with an emotional and kind heart. You see how Shantuale behaves. I think both of them should be a lot in the series and they should be more important.

I've only played pre Gen 4 games and I've gotta say Gen 5 Pokémon and elite four are cool as hell
Pokemon battles are amazing
These Elite member are strong as hell even I have no issue with champion but Elite four is something else It is difficult because there you can't go back to shop or heal and if you don't have hyper potion and you entered to challenge Elite four then can't go back and you can't anything then . That's why I think Elite four are harder to defeat then champion

When I'm playing through Unova, i always make sure to have a Liepard in my team. Liepard is my favorite Gen 5 Pokemon, because I love Leopards and Liepard's gorgeous colouration, and i ended up getting a shiny Purrloin in my nostalgia trip through Black yesterday.
I used some weaker mons on my team (namely Vanniluxe and Maractus, among other better ones) and let me tell you, it was _hell._ I had to use up _so many_ of my Full Restores and Moomoo Milks. :v

Unpopular opinion but I think Marshal is the coolest elite four member of gen 5.
Never in my years of Pokemon would I actually see someone use an Unfezant. A male Unfezant. A Shiny male Unfezant
I love how their pokemons have good coverage. Recent gens have been really slacking with the movesets of opposing trainers, so it's nice to see the competence of the Elite 4. They're no slouches, one way or another, I always get at least one of my pokemon knocked out during each fight.

Marshall was such a challenge for me because the combination of speed( Sawk and Mienshao) and sheer unstoppable bulk and power( Throh and Conkeldurr) completely threw me off everytime
I used a flying gem and it still didn’t kill the throh

Soooooo my team is:

Lvl. 58 Lucario

Lvl. 60 Samurott
I bravely entered the elite four room, I first battled shauntal, and oh boy was she the hardest freaking girl in this entire run of mine. I easily fainted her golurk, cofagrigus, and drifblim, but her chandelure was, if not, the hardest pokemon to beat here in the b2w2 league. It keep outspeeding my fastest mons: lucario and Samurott. She always hits her fireblast and counters my Samurott with energy ball that ohkoed it immediately. I beat her because my Eelektross luckily survived with 26hp and I thunder waved the "abominosity" (idk). So after my Eelektross fainted, I luckily ohkoed her chandelure with my mystic powered and +sp. attack nature powered, stab surf from my Samurott, and this is only the first elite four omfg.
Next was grimsley (my fav. Elite four btw) and swept him with my swords dance powered lucario with close combat.
Next was caitlin and i easily swept her with Metagross
Next was marshal and I easily swept him with my Metagross.
literally shauntal was the powerhouse of the elite four, she's hard with her chandelure, omfg. The others were easy as heck since I counter their types or I have resisting pokemons for them, like Metagross.
And finally Iris, I easily swept her with my Samurott, lmfao shauntal is harder

one thing i dislike about swsh was that, to be honest, the "elite four" and the champion were in one enviornment. they did not feel special. LIKE, LOOK AT BLACK AND WHITE ITS SO COOL!!

I like that there were no big differences between cpu level and ur pokemon i hate when some players battle againt 50lv with 70lv pokemon in this kind of videos and you cant even watch the strategy of the opponent

The Unova remakes (if any) would be the first ones where you can choose the order you want to fight the Elite Four. They would also be the first ones where the following text would appear:
"You are challenged by (Shauntal/Grimsley/Caitlin/Marshal) of the Elite Four!"
Now then, since there are four Unova games for the DS, one of the most likely scenarios would be the one where the content that is exclusive to B2W2 appears in an Expansion Pass.
I don't think the remakes will be released for Switch, but for its successor... let's keep waiting for news from TPC.
These rooms were the best in the series. Better than Kalos' even except maybe Siebold and Wikstrom's rooms.
