Yes, get off phones!!! I learned that from watching this video on my phone! And this comment I sent from my... Love all your vids, Andrew. A morning coffee watching an Overland-Workshop on my....D'OH!
Well, Andrew, I don't have a chance for overlanding, not even in a normal car just travel is impossible at the moment. Might change in the future. But your videos get my heart pumping again. Thank you for them. Unfortunately at the moment, I can't support you more than just watch your videos. But I am getting there
Andrew, well said, I agree, make an effort to enjoy the time with your loved ones, I have recently lost my wife, she was my companion and navigator on our adventures, oh yes I am so happy we enjoyed our trips, and did so at any and every opportunity.. unlike you I preferred company on my trips, and am now content we did so. And yes the frailty’s of getting old.. I am old, and you touched a nerve with your comments, and your very wise counsel.. get rid of the phones.. learn to enjoy the moment of “ here and now” thank you for another great episode, Best Regards
You had my attention in this video. BUT - when you started talking about “old age” (I’m 63) i started listening so much. Don’t know if I’m old ? Don’t feel like it ! I know your thoughts. Could write alot. A 90 year old mom who has lost the will to live………Makes you think about how you spend the rest of your life. 4x4 ! Been driving a Land Rover 1980 for years. Just bought a Jimny 2024. First brand new car ever. Not important what 4x4 it is. But it makes me smile……You’re so right. Get out. Live your life. Love your children - but remember to live while you can. Not to mention your thoughts about phones……. Think I’ll hire somebody the next time my wooden house in the forest has to be painted. Life is too short to fall from a ladder. A good important point. Lots of love from Denmark ❤
Really enjoyed the audiobook section. Know exactly what getting older and failing health means, but no regrets. It is what it is. Not useful looking backwards all the time.
What a great video. I like the length of it. And really like that little chat at the 50min mark about living in the moment. And enjoying family. You have created such a good environment for yourself. Keep it up. Good to see you happy. And doing what you love. Also I have a troopy coming early 25 and I’d be interested in this new alloy setup you were talking about
03,.35 - 03.45 and a bit further : "Umimited Power!!!" Good ole Palpati✊n :) Good show mate, I enjoy keep it up, and remember that it makes sense to do these videos because you were never 63, you are now and you will never will be again. So have a blast as you are! I m a fan of overlanding and yours because you are a good story teller. 40 years of babbling on the tele and shows have their wieght and size. Why Hide? All ma best keep it up annd be safe at what you do!
Andrew, good morning. Currently in northern Thailand driving from Australia to Europe. A quick question, what do you use for the satellite positioning that you send each morning?
Many car owners have at least 3rd party fire and theft car Insurance and some have full comprehensive car insurance. Hope that answers your question Andrew.
Sometimes the broken down car is bùrnt in a passing scrub fire but most times its a stollen vehicle when runs out off fuel burn it to hide the fingerprints , its normally a native thing to do
But I can only comment on my phone lol. Great seeing these for a second time , thanks for the reminder I need to get out there . Was hoping to do some with my wife but unfortunately not to be ( limited time really close to home). Thanks
Thank you so much for this amazing video! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Busted my guts and killed my body renovating everyone's homes that didn't want to climb ladders and walk on roofs. This forced retirement has now enabled me to go overlanding and travel, something that other peoples' demands didn't give me opportunity to do in my working life. Love retirement!!!
13:59 I see Andrew. But don’t the older diesel engines like the ones in the 80 series Land Cruiser require more than 30 seconds to warm up ? I was under the impression that diesel engines of that era require longer start up time to get to operating temperature.
30 seconds, not enough... 30 minutes is too long. With my 1hz troopy I do about 1-2min in summer, maybe 5 in winter and baby it initially (until temp needle moves) to allow all fluids to warm up. That and preventative maintenance and 5k servicing has given me trouble free motoring and a car that's healthy as it was a decade ago
Them recaro seat covers are they good or am i better off getting the cheaper kings ones and saving money , im cruising around in a work truck with Isuzu seat covers and they are falling apart dont last long them , and i want a good set for my 4x4 , and the Isuzu ones looked good quality from the start but hmm , then theres black duck 🤔??
Interestingly my family doesn't really like the butcher bird because they are a bit territorial and scare the other birds away. Also there was a small background noise in the beginning, most people probably couldn't hear it on their phone and it was only mildly annoying but it was there.
Hi Andrew im a long time watcher however i have had little comments to you. Love your trips indead very interesting, Just a commne if I can what wtach are you wearing if this is not a rude question. My guess its either an Omega Seamaster or Rolex. Cheers mate. Oh if you do one thing please get a bowel test done each year, it could safe your life.
Don't worry fellas. Its Paul. He's a troll. Every now and again he comes back and tries to make himself feel better by trying to make others feel worse. Feel sorry for him.
@ far from it Mr White. I’ve been a Patreon of yours for many years. I just tell it like I see it. Many more positive comments than negative. I think it’s better to let you know when something rubs me the wrong way as I’m probably not unique.
The last 20minutes of your video is exacly my thoughts about age and phones...very human video this one, thanks!

Andrew, good morning. Currently in northern Thailand driving from Australia to Europe. A quick question, what do you use for the satellite positioning that you send each morning?
Lekker
Andrew you are starting to worry me, hope you are well 😂
Na, he is good. Just having some fun 😂🎉
Many car owners have at least 3rd party fire and theft car Insurance and some have full comprehensive car insurance. Hope that answers your question Andrew.
Would that depend in where the vehicle ¨caught¨ fire?
How often do you use it in 4 wheel drive?
Sometimes the broken down car is bùrnt in a passing scrub fire but most times its a stollen vehicle when runs out off fuel burn it to hide the fingerprints , its normally a native thing to do

you miss that V8 and troopy more than you know
Bet you prefer this troopie to the 4 cyl in terms of v8 v 4 cyl. Manual v auto.
Good music choice
It’s a shame you don’t have this v8 troopy anymore……beautiful rig
Can you confirm the brand of the mosquito bite gadget please Andrew, that looks like a great piece of kit.

18:13 Wonder which brand sedan that is….. why is it there on the outback track. Doesn’t look like modified sedan for off roading.
15:18 That rattling would drive me mad, especially if it is new vehicle. But must be the extra equipment that is rattling I suppose ?
18:09 Wow !! Did someone take their sedan there ? Must be high on something strong…..
Regarding telling if someone is lying (38m), if it's a politician, they are lying if the mouth moves.
Andrew, this is the first time I have noticed a gear drive type sound within the camera on the tripod? Why is that?

If a car sits in the middle of nowhere it will always burn when a fire comes through
Have you ever created a set up/hints for wagon owners eg Toyota Landcruiser? Steve 🇦🇺
Yes. Done this for over 25 years. Check out overland-workshop.com
Do you know how to make a Yorkshire Pudding? My Grandparents made them absolutely Beautiful. Wish I could do it

How much is the cost difference, if you don’t mind me asking. In my country, we get to choose the fabric or leatherite made to measure.
Interestingly my family doesn't really like the butcher bird because they are a bit territorial and scare the other birds away. Also there was a small background noise in the beginning, most people probably couldn't hear it on their phone and it was only mildly annoying but it was there.
You need to get yourself a 12volt electric blanket
They're burnt because the one's that weren't have been retrieved
It's finally happened?..........................Andrew has gone 'Troppo'...

0:32 Andrew and his lovely British accent 🎉🎉🎉
Or is it Ozzie accent 😂
People light wrecked cars on fire for fun. I think it’s as simple as that, sadly.
Warming your engine up damages your engine.
Gosh you do talk some rubbish sometimes mate.
Warming your car up damages the engine.
What a load of rubbish. You do talk some crap sometimes
How about thanking him for providing you with a free video instead of leaving an arsehole comment
Couple minutes in and having to stop the stupid voice was too much
thats nice
