With regard to hash browns- they are very similar to what I know as "mock fish." The only difference is that I add an egg to bind the grated spuds together & make rissole shaped mounds. Cook one side, then squash after turning the "fish" over. I love eggs & mushrooms cooked in butter. I also cook omlettes in a mixture of butter & olive oil, as do I also when cooking pancakes. When I make pancakes at home & I have a surplus of batter, I cryovac it & freeze it for when we are travelling. Defrost overnight, cut a corner off the cryovac bag & use that cut corner to pour the batter into a frypan.
Internal Shower/WC all day long, particularly for the Mrs. The outside shower is handy for other jobs but setting up and putting away the shower tent, jus an annoyance. Back in the early 80s I had a 2 door Range Rover. Swapped out the motor for an aluminium P76 V8 (the better version of the Rangie motor) changed all electrics to Bosch including pointless ignition, Holley 4 barrel, extractors, bigger core radiator and Davies Craig twin electric cooling fans. Higher springs, probably an extra 50mm and koni gas shocks. What an incredible difference that made to the Range Rover across the board both on and off road. I know I went to bigger profile tyres, but can't remember the details. That vehicle was a lot of fun, reliable and fast for the day. Of course fuel was cheap in comparison to today. Love the low profile CUB van - in response to your question... if I had to tow something around, I would like it to have an internal shower. If I was in Troopy, Delica or other type of smaller overland or camp vehicle, I'd be Ok with the outside shower. Just my personal opinion/preference. That looked like a tasty hearty bush breakfast :)

We've recently changed from using olive oil to using butter. Was about to give up and go back to oil as I couldn't keep it a constant consistency due to the temp changes we're having. Harry, you're challenging me to keep going. Butter. Buuterrrr. Butttterrrr.

So the door to this van is still tiny in height when pop top up. I was wondering that. At 15:09 you can see it with the pop top up and the door doesn't change.

Internal shower is a must otherwise no better than a camper trailer. butter, butter and butter with a pinch of salt and flies great fry up.

The shower thing. If u r bush put it on the outside. If you are caravan parking and generally don't like the amenities block, have one in the van.
