Thank you for documenting this. Its 2024, and as an offroader, we still face the epidemic of litter here. Speaking of which, the depth at the end was refreshing from ASPW and to think it was right before the onset of the Pandemic! Spent 25 years here and this is my home. Only love for the land and its people.
Dear Andrew, I have watched, enjoyed and most importantly learned a lot from every single one of your videos throughout the years and I still cannot understand how one of the best Overlanding destination still escapes you, Morocco 🇲🇦.
I spent 6 years working in Saudi Arabia in the 80s and spent most weekends travelling and camping in the desert. This video takes me back to those times. Fantastic memories. I started with an Isuzu Trooper but ended with a V8 110 Landrover.
First, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, Andrew, for the exceptional content you share on your channel about exploration and adventure. Your platform provides a wealth of invaluable information for enthusiasts interested in this craft, serving as a rich resource for novices and seasoned explorers alike. Secondly, as an Emirati, I would like to offer insight into the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a country renowned for its vibrant tourism scene, but one that offers so much more than its iconic cities, such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The UAE boasts an extraordinary diversity of landscapes and natural beauty, including majestic mountains, expansive deserts, and nice beaches. These unique geographic features make the country an ideal destination for outdoor activities, hobbies, and sports related to exploration and adventure. Moreover, I must highlight the UAE’s exceptional levels of safety, security, and stability. The nation places people-whether citizens, residents, or visitors-at the heart of its leadership’s and government’s priorities. This commitment extends to ensuring a high quality of life for everyone, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or religion. The UAE's dedication to fostering a secure, inclusive, and welcoming environment sets it apart as a premier destination for exploration and discovery.
Hey Andrew, this is a very great trip. It’s really nice to see you experience those wonderful places in our country. However, I wanted to comment on the littering problem in ‘AlSila’ area specifically. This litter is washed up by the ocean waves and comes from everywhere you will notice many of the bottles or plastics have other countries labels on them. All the best and happy to see coming to the UAE often, I would love to host you here one day.
I enjoyed watching this again. Sadly the mountain you were camping on has had all its best camping spots closed off now. Met Shaun on the beach in RAK this week :)
That's true about snoring , the other week my mate came home late from work he walked in the door and herd her snoring in bed when he went to bed she was cold and not snoring he turned the light on she was purple and not breathing he couldn't revive her she had a heart attack in her sleep , so if you hear snoring that's a good sign , if snoring stops go check on them please
One thing I will never do again is to go off road with a Jeep. Got stuck with a Jeep that didn't want to go into gear. After been towed hundreds of kms to find out that one wire came loose on the gearbox.
A spectacular country! Thankyou for sharing such a fantastic adventure.
Great again
I'm so happy. I now know my wife is alive

Simple. I can't do a trip without a vehicle. Nobody has offered me a suitable vehicle in Morocco.
It's 3:40am here in SA🇿🇦 and I'm up just to watch this show❤❤

Spent five years living in Abu Dhabi and loved desert camping. Only problem is there is always litter, lots of it.

Are you publishing videos several times? I already saw that
This is long-form (no episodes) now re-edited and on this channel
The area seems very similar to the Richersveld of South Africa.
the river beds are similar, as is the vegetation, but the mountains are ten times the height and the sand seas are endless.

🌍wide problem - littered beaches.
