- Today we take a look at HMP Peterborough, Saville Rd, Peterborough PE3 7PD.
This is the only dual purpose-built prison holding males and females in the United Kingdom.
As we walk around we notice a few things of concern from Illegal Number Plates to Knives in the Skip. 😱😱😱
We also meet Bruce who has just walked out the Big Door after serving 30 Years!
A few prison staff didn't like the camera but in general the behaviour was OK.
I couldn't leave without making sure the Offensive Weapons where going to be removed as soon as possible so I make a phone call to HMP Peterborough whilst on site.

The skips worth £6-8k they get nicked and resprayed sold on, there's also a big wait for new skips at the moment.

G'day Dj, great audit. wow could you imagine how the ex prisoner felt standing outside for the first time in 30 years. Maybe the security guards should do a walk around the outside of the prison , they should check the skips and rubbish. Take care mate all the best form down under 👍

30 years isn’t giving for a public order offence he has ruined peoples lives hence the sentence I’m sure as the British Court System is light on most 30 years doesn’t match the crime. So poor bloke haha

They are more frightened of a camera than a bunch of knives. I suppose the camera might catch them doing something they shouldn’t. The knives in the wrong hands can only injure or kill someone.
Very professional audit, the government should pay you to do this with the prison staff having to fully support and cooperate with you and receive a report with a follow up visit to make sure any wrongs are put right or the prison facing fines. Who would put knifes in any skip let alone one next to a prison

Used to deliver stationery to that prison. Don't know if it's the same now. But they wouldn't accept parcels at reception, had to drive through that large door leave van ! Then accompanied by a guard go in to secure areas to reach storeroom ! Never checked who I was or the parcels?
SP52 BAD has until 14th Jan to tax his car back to the 1st. Check his tax situation again on the 15th and if still untaxed, report him online to DVLA. Get him clamped.

@@whysoserious5854 I was on X1 for 2 weeks Nov 2020 before being transferred to bedford. Was gutted 😅 this place was the bollocks. Loved the food. Bedford was hell.

Nice one DJ X I spent 3 weeks in there in 2018 as a protest on a personal level and going undercover to sort 2 murders and a few delinquent travellers out......it's a shame you didn't come across staff as their level of language is appalling I discovered at first hand. I was constantly bringing to account 'women'...Ladies....tattoed or tomboiyish constantly swearing in all deliberations...in uniform. It's part of the 'culture' I was told in their defense. I told them it wasn't in mine and do not use profanity in normal chat to me. It put me at odds with them. When I then discovered a senior screw was depriving inmates of 'extras' at tea time....only for her to take them home....for her dog....did put them on the defensive too!! The final nail in their unprofessional coffin was to discover they allowed inmates to steal new arrivals tooth paste/brushes/vapes etc etc....to trade for spice. When I confronted our wing screws about it they said these 'rats' needed to stay on this wing as their safety was at risk if put on other wings. So...they allowed them to prey on the most vulnerable. I told them if they wouldn't do something then I would. I was an inmate aged 17 at Wormwood Scrubs in the 70's...and remember their 'professionalism'...and no way would such things have happened on their watch. Fortunately i'm well known and well connected in Cambridgeshire where most inmates come from. I...was 'protected'...by all. Having 6 bouncer friends from Nottingham in there too was useful. So...with such 'freedom'...and authority granted by inmates....I approached the spice supplier....told him it weren't happening anymore whilst I was there....made him bring to account the 2 'rats' who had just nicked new folks gear and delivered it to him. He beat them in front of me and told them not to do it again. Prison Justice....there is rules...and should be adhered too...by all. Once i'd reminded inmates of their respionsibility to each other....I then told the staff thats the way it is...from now. I got a 'cheer' from them too....sadly the wrong kind. I thought I was there for 30 days.....after 4 days and making my presence known Prison wide....(I used to punch into the machine appointments with this and that all over the prison. Left me cell each day and returned only for meals. Never questioned once.....just wandered around 'auditing' in me head!!!)....a letter arrived announcing I was free to go...in 11 days time!!! I told the Judge.....I am not paying the fine on principal....and I needed a rest after being busy....and I wanted to stop smoking...and lose weight. When I read I had only 11 days to do all that and not the 30....I screamed in frustration.....!!! Screws came running...I told them the problem....I last heard them 'cheering' as the screws reported back to their 'under siege' office on our wing! I try to please!x I promised inmates i'd expose some wrong stuff going on...upon leaving had the 7 phone numbers among inmates...kept them informed and via the internet FORCED the Governor and Board to accept change....and discipline the dog food thief. The 'force' was real....the inmates put tools down until I got the response they wanted....all done over a well connected 'blog' and a cuppa!x Well done on keeping them on their toes.....they make lots of money and need to be held to account...business is business....I reckon.....as did Mr Bridger....!!x

15:00 I can't comment on private prisons but HMP Norwich was horrible when I got remanded there. I've heard that HMP Peterborough was nicer, however it can't be too nice given that it is now overcrowded on both the male and female sides.
