I had the new cushions for around 3 months, and was afraid to change it because I had very bad experience changing my previous Bose headphones cushions.. it was extremely hard to change! now.. this is just amazingly easy. I finally changed it and took me 5 seconds. :D thanks for the video

They all have absolutely different amounts, so you need to buy the exact ear cushions.

They have absolutely different mounts so there's no way to use major 2 on major 3 or vice versa.

I've never seen those for sales not on Amazon not on AliExpress. As an option you can try to buy used or broken ones.

I wouldn't replace it because it's not that easy and very very high chance to damage/brake the folding part that attaches to the headband.

Simply grab the bottom of the earpad tightly where the inside plastic frame is located and twist it counterclockwise.

Yes, those Major 2 were original. I've never seen Major 2 with a QR code only Major 3 and 4.

You can buy Major II cushions with the plastic frame just fine. Ask your seller.

Hold the base of the cushion (there's a plastic frame at the bottom where it attaches to the headphones) and turn it counterclockwise.

I have major iv and not quite sure if it's genuine. I tried removing the cushions by rotating counter clockwise but its not moving. I asked the seller and they said that it's hard to rotate if it's your first time doing it. Is it true?
Far the Major III and IV it's slightly stiff but at the level where you have to put some muscle work. Grab the cushion by the lower part where it has internal plastic frame and rotate counterclockwise.

Check if the mic hole is nice and clean without any debris inside. You can use a small needle to clean that hole but don't go too deep, just the tip (1-2mm).
hi, I just read your comments about replacement for Major I cushions. I am having trouble finding correct cushions (I assume my headphones are Major I model because there's no removable cord). My headphones do not have twist-off cushions, they are attached by 4 screws. I looked at the aftermarket cushions on ebay etc and I don't see how I could put them on and then screw the screws in. Please advise. Marshall tech support is absolutely useless unfortunately.

@@aliasgarezzy7256 Major 3 ear cushions ARE compatible with the Major 2 Bluetooth at least.... I bought the major 3 cushions in brown for replacement and they click tightly in place no wiggle no nothing.
Also the Major 3 cushions already have the plastic clip, so you don't have to worry about the old one.

To do that you need to completely disassemble your headphones. You'll need to disolder speakers but the most difficult part is removing those two hinges which usually brake and your headphones become complete garbage. there are some universal headbands with Velcro that can solve your problem. The link in the description.

How about head band replacement? Mine's peeling off. Its a marshall mid anc.
just pill off that artificial leather and underneath there will be nice black material which looks pretty good. I never seen head bands for sale.

It's almost impossible. You have to completely disassemble your headphones including desoldering speakers and internal wires to do that. There are some universal headbands with Velcro locks on the market which you can use with your headphones.

It would be wonderful if you can show how to change the head band or removing the screw on which is connecting between the headband and the earpad
Unfortunately it's not that easy. In order to replace that band you'll need to completely disassemble your headphones and desolder the wires from the speakers audio jacks. There's extremely high chance that the headphones will be damaged during this process. The only way is using universal bands that have a Velcro lock so you just wrap it around your old band and it will do the job.

They have same size but totally different mounts which are not compatible. Moreover, on Major III those mounts are not replaceable and nicely glued to the cushion's eco-leather .

It's impossible. They have absolutely different construction (the cushions and the mounts) and it's not gonna work. You can actually glue it together somehow but it will look ugly.

i really like the shape of the major 2 earpads better than the major 3 ones mostly because of the fact there are no seams. But i own a major 3 and the plastic frame in the pads is glue stuck on the major 3. Do you think it's possible to carefully remove the glue and then use that plastic frame to adapt major 2 pads on a major 3 ?
Technically possible but it will look ugly for sure. Those earpads are very different (material, dimensions etc).
