Love the burger. Simple but good.
Keep it up. 👍🏼
Thanks Dave - Great to hear from you. Hope you had a good Xmas and are taking it easy!
Yum! Gonna have to give this a try thanks mate 👌👌
Thanks Karyn and Kristie! Hope you guys are doing well :) Easy on the salt and pepper - I went a bit over board :D
Ohhh so good! Great vid, Dan - I need to try cold smoking now! Cheers, Laine
Thanks Laine! Glad you liked it. Not to be watched on an empty stomach :)
Yep. Gold Standard.
Thanks Chris! Sorry for late response mate. Less words often says more 😉
Cool looks nice
Thanks Chris!
I would have shared, I swear :D
It’s 8am here when I watched this. Now I want a burger for breakfast. Is that wrong? 🤣 Great video as always Dan. Keep ‘em coming. Matt
I hope you guys aren't late for work and school :D Thanks Guys. Email coming, I swear.
Awesome burger mate. Another great video too. If you cracked a beer I reckon Harry from @firetofork would have stumbled out of the bush bear footed and joined you. Keep up the great work!
Haha Thanks Mick! Aiming to build an audience like Harry has - one step at a time! Beer would have been good now I think about :D Thanks for commenting mate, I really appreciate your ongoing encouragement. Cheers.
Looks pretty tasty Dan, reckon your missing pineapple and bacon mate!
Hi Steve, Extra bacon sure, but I'll leave the bacon to you! :D Thanks for watching!
That looks so good mate. Loved the crunch when you took a bite. Haha
I can’t stand coriander so I’ll swap it out for parsley😁.
I haven’t tried burgers on the ozbraai but will give it a go this Sunday. Loved the vid mate.
Hey Jase, Getting a reply from you mate makes this whole thing worthwhile - I wont be offended with Parsley :D I got an email coming. COVID has finally hit the household:( Expect to hear from me tomorrow :)
Haha. Cheers mate.
That’s no good. Covid hit us pretty hard but at least we all had a week together as a family 🤣😁
@@JasonHarris-jx2ux Email finally on the way. Let me know you got it!!!!
@@OTWD Got the email mate👍👌
Love the videos. I know you like Drifta canvas bags. I can also recommend you check out Summit Outfitters Mansfield. Great quality local made canvas products. They also will custom make bags to your dimensions!
Thanks Chris, I'll be sure to check out Summit Outfitters Mansfield. Also a big fan of Blacksmith Camping Supplies bag, if you haven't heard of them. Cheers mate.
looks yumm, where is your camping site
Hi ADMD, thanks for watching! I’m hanging out at bunyip state park, south east of Melbourne. It’s beautiful forest , bouncing back from fires a few years ago. Nice quiet area for filming and exploring. Cheers
@@OTWD Thanks for sharing Dan. I also live in Melbourne, will go and have a look :p, cheers, Dong
Enjoy your videos mate but i'm too opinionated on this topic. you just made a meatloaf mate not a burger! seasoning only (pick your poison salt pepper, maybe garlic powder and msg ) but definitely none of this egg, onion and breadcrumbs, seen other put hamburger helper and flour etc. keep the meat cold and use an ~80/20 mix, no need for a binding agent. I've had cheap 3 star beef mince burgers with this technique taste way better than fancy ground chuck patties. if you only have lean mince on hand, finely chop up some streaky bacon, that will taste unreal. THe patty just doesn't taste right otherwise.
Appreciate a different perspective! Sorry for delay in replying It's been a busy time. Hope you are enjoying a break over Xmas and NY :)
That is not a burger. What you have just made is a flat meatball. To make a real burger get mince with a decent fat content and use a burger press or make a smash burger. Please don't put all that other crap into it and call it a burger. This is why you can't get real burgers in the UK or Oz. Nice meatballs! Cheers.
