I agree with you ,animals are in terrible stress performing in circuses it’s not a natural environment for them ,it’s cruel to constantly be performing in front of a crowd of loud clapping audience over and over again 😞

In 1972 I met a German girl in Tossa del Mar. Two years later we got married and this year we are hoping to go back to celebrate our 50th year wedding anniversary. We now live. On the Southern Costa Blanca so we won't have to travel far. From what I can see on the internet, it hasn't really changed that much. Safe travels, Peter

In 2012, we drove our motorhome to Spain.
While driving through France, we drove into Monaco.
We parked up a side road behind a bus while we went for a walk around.
It wasn’t until 2020 we saw a programme all about Monaco, and they told us on there that motorhomes are not aloud in Monaco.
We stayed at that aire by the cemetery in France in 2012, but in January this year we couldn’t get in it (full).
Might try again this December.

We parked just over the border on a site in Italy, owners drove to station and we trained it into Monaco. No problems

The restaurant you looked at in Boulou says on the sign it does take away's to order. The word to look for in France is 'emporter'
We drove down to Spain in 1976 in a VW camper. Stayed in Loret for 3 weeks in what I remember was a campsite cut into the side of a hill. Had trips out to Tossa der mar, Santa Susanna, and many more little villages as they were back then. Great times, enjoy your time there, we certainly did, many happy memories

Hi guy, I spent 2 weeks in tossa in 1988 it was brilliant the European football tournament was on I spent the whole 2 weeks with some Dutch girls we had a ball and Holland won it, I only stayed at my hotel for 2 nights, I'm still in touch with them now I went back in 2005 not the same stayed 2nights then moved on

We always stay in le boulou, before Spain. We love it. No services, but river walk great. Supermarkets 10min walk.
I first visited Tossa d mar 65 years ago in a ford 5 hundred weight van, slept on a blow up mattress on the floor, cooked on a primus stove, got hooked on travelling to many places have owned some lovely motorhomes since, but now too old, so bought a house in Spain, wish I had done it sooner, but love watching your travels 😅 Sylvia
My husband does the same as mark tells me he knows a short cut but it never ends up being that 😱

We stayed on a campsite in Cagnec Sur Mer near Antibes and caught the train to Monaco in 2018 it was well worth it as we went to Grand Prix practice day Monaco is absolutely well worth the visit it’s a fantastic place but definitely would not take a Motorhome in

Carcassonne is great for stop off when you get further down towards Montpellier. I think you two would definitely enjoy it there, try the rabbit stew 😊❤
Another great one guys. If you want to see famous places like Monaco, its always worth considering parking in a town and getting the train in, there is an excellent train service on that coast.

Been many times in the 80s got boat from Lorret really enjoyed it there especially the boat trip remember seeing the flower boxes on the windows along the front if they are still there .
Ive got a fantastic laundry bag; my sister gave me a size 22 knitted dress. I stitched hem together put a coat hanger in top & hence laundry bag.

Went to tossa de Mar 10 years ago and stayed in the hotel tossa it was an experience haha
I stayed in Nice (in an apartment) for a few nights and visited Monaco for the afternoon way back in 2003. For me personally, I didn't find Nice very friendly towards the Brits. I can't speak for the rest of France, never been anywhere else . Monaco, very different, they were very friendly even though we were the poor little urchins in the land of the rich LOL. But, I can imagine parking for a Motorhome and safety issues being a nightmare. Lisa I am in total agreement with you over animals in the circus.

We went to Tossa de Mar back in October. We got the bus into Lloret de Mar. Didnt like it so much. Absolutely loved Tossa tho. Some lovely eateries along the sea front. Check out Tom's for a decent steak. Love the old town and castle. So quaint. Hope you had fun. xx

I have a suggestion for you both, there is a lovely cave village called Alcala de Jucar which is in the Albacete province. It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.lots to see and do, well worth a visit. There is a cave museum called Cuevas del Diablo which is fascinating. Love watching your adventures x

Was going to be in Spain yesterday in my campervan, due to my engine blowing up hour from the ferry in Plymouth had to tow it back to Warrington. Not going to effect my holiday rebook for benidorm few day later.
Doug and I went to tossa del mar, it was late 1970. Must be a lot different now.
Went to Tossa twice in the 90s. Will be interesting to see if it's changed. Keep up the good work guys !
