Happy New Year!! Watching this whilst I’m waiting to see if I received a Cambridge offer in January! I’m so nervous - I really don’t know how they went one of my interviews with DoS felt super positive but the other was a bit shaky (probably because they kept incrementally making it more and more difficult and we went through quite a few topics) How did you feel after your interviews? (if you remember) - thanks for being an inspiration and may all your wishes in 2023 come true!

Thank you Sarah happy new year! I hope the results of the interview go your way too. I also felt like i flopped one of my interviews - and i talked about it in a video i did a while back: ruclips.net/video/_3Te3cFwV00/видео.html

Amazing vlog! May I know if you’re currently using any textbooks for clinical school?

Thank you! I don't use textbooks much. My main resources are passmedicine and zero to finals :)

Happy new year! A bit of a niche question but I wanted to know what pharmacology and physiology books you used?

Thank you, happy new year to you too! When I studied preclinical, I didn't read textbooks religiously, but used them as a point of reference and to add extra details for my essays. My favourite books were Guyton and Hall for physiology and Rang and Dale for pharmacology.

@@RohanYesudian Thank you so much for your response! Pharmacology is coming up and I heard it could get tough. Also wanted to touch up on physiology.

Hello Rohan, I’m currently in year 12 and just wanted to ask how much do you think A-Level biology has benefitted you in medicine? I know it isn’t a course requirement but most people have taken it so I just wanted to know whether it was worthwhile. Also do you know anyone who has done med without Biology? Thank you so much!

    • @RohanYesudian

Hi there, i would say that A-level biology is useful. That being said, I know some people who are at Cambridge who did not take A-level biology and they are doing really well regardless!

Hi Rohan, really enjoyed this video! I’m a year 11 student aspiring to go to a top university like you and study medicine. What could I do from now on to possibly achieve this goal?
Thanks, may you and your family have a great new year!
