HUGE Michaels $4 GRAB BAGS. $862 worth for $20 = 76 items!!: • HUGE Michaels $4 GRAB ...
MORE Michaels $4 GRAB Bags!!! What did I get??: • MORE Michaels $4 GRAB ...
HUMONGOUS Michaels $4 GRAB BAGS/ over $1500 worth for $40=85
I used to work at Michaels years ago! We did the grab bags because the things that were on clearance went down to being only $0.01 and for some reason they can’t sell things for only a penny so they throw it all together in a bag for $4-$5! Always hit up clearance areas in Michaels and price check everything..if you can catch it on sale on the shelf for a penny, then they have to sell it to you! Lol! I decorated an entire room on grab bags 😂😂 you definitely got some really good stuff!
Great info...thanks for sharing
How I can find this ???? Any local Michael's ????????
How do you know when they are going to do the grab bags
Like she said, they do it normally after every season. Spring stuff goes in the summer. Summer stuff goes in the beginning of fall. Fall/Halloween/thanksgiving goes at the beginning of winter and all the winter/Christmas stuff goes at the beginning of spring :) you always have to check in because they go fast!
Kaylee...en Hialeah too ????? Jajaaaa
OMG this is the best Michael's haul I've ever seen. You are such a sweet person, and I love the fact that you don't believe in making money off your hauls, but instead donate to those in need. May God continue to bless you and your family.
💕😘💕
I think its ridiculous she doesn't sell them and donate the profit. Shelters need MONEY, not more stuff
This is the first time I heard of $4 grab bags from Michael's. I will have to check it out next time.
Tina Freethy Me too!!
Me too! And i am there a ton!!! I have never seen these!!!
Me four 😊
Ditto!!
Must be a US thing, pretty sure they dont do that in Canada ( sad face)
The fact that their selling all these for 4 dollars goes to show how over priced this stuff really is
Yes. My friend used to work there and could see how much each item was purchased at in the wholesale orders they would receive. Sometimes something would be 4 cents and they would sell it for $5 or more!
These bags are basically their last resort to push product that they couldn’t sell retail or clearance. I would never buy something full price there
well yea but they are kinda smart to a least try to make a little money off of the items. The only other step is to throw it in the dumpster. Lots of stores does that. If you go dumpster diving sometimes you get it for free. Sometimes returns go in trash that is nothing wrong with the item but whoever got it Like charging cables for phones end up in the dumpster. I don't dumpster dive but I seen people do. Well i have to take that back. At my local dump they have a place where if its in good shape you can leave it in an roof area for someone to take it. I did take a big mirror to hang on the wall. it was very old thick mirror and the frame was in good shape.I have seen dressers that would be perfect for a DIY makeover to lawn equipment to working push mowers that worked. I really appreciate that they started doing that I believe in reuse, repurpose, DIYs, and anything to keep stuff from going into landfill if it doesn't have to.
Um... 04 to 5 bucks isn't a lot.. As do you know how many people have to get paid.
Sort of. General mark up when I worked at a craft store was fifty percent.
That's not what this means. They are a huge corporation that has to move inventory. If it doesn't sell it gets tossed out or sent to donation. They literally move seasonal and product monthly even weekly sometimes. It is to capture something and/or create a buzz with their name again. That is it. Somethings price point is only based on what a person pays for it. We do pay it so that is the value of it. LOL! Just sayin...... You can over-price necessary things like food or clothing, electricity or gas, water etc. Ya can't really over-price art or decor.
I could easily watch 5 hours of this. Its like the bling bag egg videos for children, but the adult version. Instant gratification for us :D
😘
I died where she said „what is hola“ 😂😂
Same lmao
I know! It was cute though.
Same and it was as adorable. I am sure she herself has figured that out by now. I just found her channel from a tragedy that happened to her. She is a strong amazing woman and I am very excited I found her channel. 🥰
Thise "hola" signs would be great for a Spanish teacher! My sister teaches Spanish and it's hard finding cute decor with Spanish words for her class.
M. Orozco, I was just coming to comment the same thing about checking with Spanish teachers at schools around where she lives.
The fidget spinners would also be great donated in a few months to local angel trees where they could give them to the children as gifts or stocking stuffers.
@@kimberlyredmond1695 That sounds like a wonderful idea too! 👍
In another comment she said she donated the hola sign to her daughter Spanish teacher at school.
My thots were take them apart.. You can have several LaLaLa's and for xmas. some HoHoHo's..!!
Can just make them
I went to michaels when they were putting out the grab bags they only have like 15. They were all in boxes. They were so full that they didn't close all the way and you could see in them. Only 3 weren't all flowers. Two were full of plates and one had giant letters. I bought the two largest boxes of floral. Most of the flower bunches retailed for $10-$20. Each box had about 30 bunches. They floral was from spring, summer, and even a few fall bunches. I use a lot of flowers in craft projects such as wreaths. I was very happy with my boxes
Where do u live?
Chicago
I’m in Bolingbrook IL. I wonder if they have them.
If you celebrate Christmas you can cut the "la" off of each "hola" paint in each one for "ho ho ho" for a Santa set up.
Love your haul!
Jennifer Blankinship great idea!
And use the leftovers to make "lalala"
@@whutzat lol! I really laughed at this for like 2 minutes hohoho and lalala lol!
Great haul. The plates, glasses and pitcher could split between your daughter and maybe shelters and churches for their kitchen ware when they have functions or feeding the homeless in the shelter. The signs are great for the home or patio garden walls.
I was thinking a Spanish themed party especially with all the colorful plates and cups
The "Hola" sign is Spanish for "Hello." The 'C'est la Vie" is French for "that is life." Enjoy this fabulous haul.
I didn't know they did crab bags until today. You got alot of stuff, thanks for sharing.
Great finds you did wonderful you really hit the mega load !!! Thank you for not cheating and digging in the bags at the store
So many years ago, when I was a little girl, my mom used to but surprise boxes via the mail. I can't remember what catalogue that she ordered from, but she would order a bunch of them. We were so excited to receive them and find out what treasures await. I lost my mom when I was young, and have told my kids about the surprise boxes that we used to get. To this day, I have wanted to find something similar. I hope that the store by me has a few surprise bags or boxes so that I can join in the fun. Thank you for posting and bringing up such find memories.
You must have had an awesome mom. I'm sorry you lost her too soon. What a beautiful memory!
Oriental trader, my mom used to order them too.
Its so nice to hear that you donate some of the items. I would probably put a set of colored cups, colored plates, a decorative item and a bottle of wine in those wicker bag/baskets to use as gifts.
There are no words. That was fantastic. Great haul.
How come I've never heard of this?!! Im gonna be looking out for em. This was extremely entertaining
Call your local one and ask when they do this. Usually it's after a season or a big holiday and on a week day. I used to work there part time.
The orange plates are beautiful and would be perfect for fall decor. Those are like adult grab bags!
I thought it was always for adults. Never seen any for kids. Would b cool for the kids too
Omgosh, what great stuff for so cheap. The people who get your donations are going to love them. You have such a huge heart. God bless
I know this was four years ago, but my first time seeing you without your current injuries. This is the first one that popped up after I heard you recent injuries video. I enjoy your content and before some trauma in my life of a different type, I was a big crafter and Micheals fan. Never in my life did I ever hear of such a thing. I am now 56 and I loved your vibe from your video made a month ago by you.
First of all my prayers are with you and the will be a faithful follower and will for the first time in history suggest you to friends and family. I loved your vibe that much. Going backwards with your content will be entertaining to me as well. Look forward to seeing more of you. I hope you get notifications so you know that you have lots of prayers and support to give you strength for whatever you need to get thru. Your an amazing woman! Can’t wait for your updates and new content. 🥰
Thank you so much for your sweet thoughtful words. I'm glad that you found me & so happy that your apart of my youtube subbie friends. Michael's now has $10 grab boxes. The boxes are actually really big. I haven't bought any. I got spoiled with the huge $4 bags.
You will see a ton at your Michael's by early January. That's when they will fill those boxes to the rim with xmas stuff, toys crafts and so much more. Hope you can score some.
I need to stop shopping and just go to michaels and get grab bags
That was fun. Can't wait to show my Mom. She really likes watching your videos. She thinks your funny. I tried to show her some other ones and she said no it wasn't the same she likes the way you do it better.😁 All those dishes😂. Looks like a good excuse for a huge party. I love the iron wall sconces too and the wall hooks. Between the dishes and those it was well worth the money.😎👍Ella's slow mo shot was great. Thanks Jenny! 😊🍁❤🐾🍁🐾🍁🐾❤🍁
FYI the tumblers are cups, something you can drink out of and the thing sticking out is a straw.
*I only know of one Michaels location in NYC, and I've never been there, but I don't think I can wait until my next Georgia visit to go to one! These grab bags are too good to be true so I gotta make sure I don't miss out again. You're awesome for giving us the heads up and sharing what's inside!*
We have one near yankee stadium,
Great things, the candle holders are awesome! You can make housewarming gift and or dorm gifts😀
I"m so jealous of your Michael's stores to begin with (we have nothing that comes close to it in Australia) and then you show me these $4 grab bags!!! I'm in creative crafting heaven just dreaming up what I could do.
Your church can have a bazaar sale and 100%of the earnings can go straight to church. Many church in my area sometimes have bazaar sale
Matilde Zelaya aāāā
I would be the yard sale queen if i were her. Talking bout "i dont resell"... girl WHAT! You a trip. Resell then give that profit to the shelters and what not .. makes more sense.
I donate the items to charities and they use the items for raffles and silent auctions. They make a lot more $ for their charity than what I would just trying to sell it on my own. I also work 3 golf outings every single year for 12 years now and what I would get paid($25) an hour, I have the charity keep it. 1 is for the Mustard seed (helping people with furniture for their home) Next 1 is for finding a cure for ALS and the other is for Riley Hospital.
@@JenniferMowan5 yes
MyFrugalFinds i rather donate than wait for everything to be sold (time consuming + the items sit at home till they sell out), plus you will have to go through the hassle of shipping & handling, packaging all the items which = spending more money on basic packaging. Really all that for a few hundred dollars to donate isnt worth it. Its better, cheaper, practical & loving to donate the items to charities @ free cost!!! ❤️ *Im pretty sure charity places will love getting items more so than money because it wont cost them anything compared to giving money - thats when things become shady & office politics.*
The tax write off is sweet if you donate and get a receipt for the original retail prices :)
I would have donated some of the plates the metal candle holders I saw four sets so that's my mother myself and two sisters homes. As she was going along I was like yard sale and I was pricing my items also 😂😂😂 .50 cents a plate I surely was giving the figet spinners to my children's homes she had a great buy. I even would have given some of the plates to a soup kitchen.
I like how people always have to say they don't resell this stuff and try to make a profit. Like what's wrong with that? That's exactly what the companies you normally buy from do lol. I mean, it's great you give the charity- I love that. But there's nothing wrong with selling stuff to make a profit. That's exactly what an entrepreneur is and how you can make a living for yourself!
I agree.. nothing wrong with making money, I'm not against that. I prefer to give to those that can benefit from the items.
@@JenniferMowan5 I think that's wonderful! Having a generous spirit is a beautiful thing! I'm sorry, it came off differently to me when I heard it.
It's nice to donate but I agree with you. I sell my kids toys and clothes they no longer need or used. It helps when I'm short with cash or I used to buy something I need for others sellers in the same site I sell on. I sell online because they don't allow yard sales where I live. Signfor Mercari and get $10 OFF your first purchase. Here's my invitation link : merc.li/Ff3pVZb
Jaleesa Stengel I agree, some people can’t even pay their bills live on one income, something happened and they need the money, why not ? That goes for all things that are sold to us, if you agree on the price don’t ask the person how much they paid for and how much is going to be the profit.
I just clicked on your link, signed up...question: Do you actually sell frequently? Are you able to get rid of things easily? I have a basement FULL of stuff I need to get rid of, many of it extras we picked up at auctions to get one or two items from lot and have many extras we don't need, I also have a ton of ladies clothes, mens clothes, household, office stuff, but trying to sell on FB marketplace has netted me mostly a bunch of flaky people who will offer you $5 on a $300 item. I realize I won't get full price but they are ridiculous.
Congratulations on your great products. And bless your heart for giving back to those in need bc God knows so many people need so many different items. Have a good and blessed day Sincerely, Ashley
I had no clue about these $4 grab bags from Michael's. You may have just created a monster! (my husband says "thanks" 😲😉)
Lol😄
I had no idea about the grab bags either! She got great things!
What an amazing haul Jenny!.....
That "C'est La Vie" sign is French for "That's Life"!.. my daughter Toni is taking French for 4 years.. she's in her 2nd year now..
I'm shook at all the stuff you got!..... so very awesome!..
Thanksgiving at Jennifer house. She has all the plates. lol
😁
Lol❤️
Susan Patton LMAO 🤣👌🏼
Lol!;! In fact have Christmas over there too!
I didn't even know that existed!!! What!!!???? Amazing!! What are u gonna do with all that?? LOVE THE CANDLE HOLDERS!!
Repurpose the canvas for that Ces La Vie it’s so easy to put a white coat on and repaint with your own pictures!
Oh wow!!! Love your $4 grab bags!! Those white plates are awesome!! You should save those for your daughters wedding reception!! Or rehearsal dinner!! What great grab bags!!!
C'est la Vie......French for " That's Life" pronounced Say La Vee...../ hola Spanish for 'hello' silent h =ola fantastic haul...
I said the same thing. Lol guess I should read what's said before commenting
One of my famous phrases, yes I'm french. Such is life! Blessings.
You could start a catering business with all those plates 🤣 I would have loved to have gotten an “hola” sign it means hello in Spanish ... loved the video ♥️
I'm loving those iron hooks you got as well as the candle holders.
You and the Crazy Lamp lady are the prettiest ladys on RUclips scrapers, just ,my 2 cents.
Awe how sweet. I actually watch her channel and love her. Thanks for watching and the nice comment
I love your enthusiasm you perk me up whenever I see your hauls.
You should give the fidget spinners away during Halloween :-)
I was thinking the same, if she celebrates it. Or grandchildrens bday party goody bags for the guests.
Cut the "ho" off 3 of the hola signs and use Ho, Ho, Ho for Christmas.
My husband said the same!! I totally would!
Or you can cut the letters and have it say "oh la la" they would go neat with a French inspired decor ($ 🌳 Eiffel towers and such).
Great ideas!
Or in her kids room saying ha ha ha! To cute
Great idea!!!
I never knew this existed until I watched your videos. I am going to check my Michael's today or tomorrow.
Angela Parchey when I watched her videos last year I thought that my store would have it but they didn’t! So I would call your store first to confirm before making the trip! Just a tip so you don’t waste your time and gas. 👍🏻 i wish I could find these bags because there’s so much good stuff!
@@yourstruly259 Thanks for the info. I have not seen it at my Michael's. But I do not go all the time. So I will probably call. That is a good idea.
You could give the fidget spinners away to trick or treaters.
I was thinking the same thing 😊
I love that idea...
I was thinking my 92 year old, former engineer dad with dementia would love a fidget spinner. I know that some people make little lap quilts with buttons, zippers etc for fidget quilts. Now I'm going to go find a spinner...
I went to Michael's once n my life, walked n for a planner and walked out, I'm a straight shooter when I shop, i kno what I want, i get it and go. But I'm going to go and look for these bags. Thanks for sharing
I was lucky to get some bags this time too. I love the plates. I ended up getting 50 fidget spinners. My sister in law has down syndrome and loves those. She works at a center with people that have special needs and brought them all to work. So happy they loved getting them.
Love it! I wish our Michael's would stuff their bags like yours.
I saw one haul and there was just junk in the bags.
I have purchased grab bags once and they were all little bags with nothing good. And I have 2 Michael's close to me.
Oh my gosh, Jenny! That was so much fun! I felt like I was there with you! Lol! You got so many nice things.....my favorites were the victorian looking hooks and the rustic plates.....but overall, everything you got was well worth carrying those heavy bags! Those orange plates and glasses could be incorporated into your fall tablescape.....Young Dora fans would especially like the Hola decor signs... I am still without a car, but if I had wheels, I would be on my way to Michaels! Great haul! ~Hugs💖
Accent is sweet and like that you donate to those in need. 👍🏻👏
Holy!! What a great selection! Use the fidget spinners to give out at Halloween. I love the translucent plates, cups and pitcher. The metal candle wall decoration and hanger bars are beautiful. Amazing!
😂🤣😂 laughing so hard over the whole display of the fidget spinners you should have no stress hahahaha
Yes! I got a grab for the 4th of July. It was filled with about $100 worth of stuff.
That's awesome. I've never heard of $4 grab bag!!
Great finds🤗 I'll keep an eye out for them. Thank you.
Oh my gosh Jennifer you crack me up. I just love watching you. Enjoy your dishes lol.😂👍💕
Jenn you definitely got some amazing stuff. I love the coat hooks and the candle holders.
My mother in law worked for michaels corporate office some years ago and they would have sample sales we would line up on a Saturday and they would let us in and everything we could fit in a bag for $2 we got so much awesome stuff these remind me of that
That would of been AWESOME to do that
Odd, employees are not supposed to be able to buy the grab bags.
And whoever packed these particular grab bags should have been reprimanded. WAY too much in each bag.
@@pennyevans1914 stop being so miserable and envious.
Peter, that was not my intention. I am not miserable nor envious. I see these products every day and make up the grab bags as I am a Michael's employee.
@@pennyevans1914 you said employees can't buy them and no one said they were then you said a staff member should be reprimanded! That's not a good attitude to have to fellow employees, you don't own the company so don't be so judging of other staff.
A couple years ago we found Christmas and fall wreaths at Michaels marked down to $1 and $2 after Christmas..they were originally $80 and up wreaths! It was awesome!
Great finds😊
Fantastic haul! Coming from Bargain Bethany Channel. Love all those decor products.
Thanks for stopping by. Bethany is my fav youtuber and she is the reason I started doing DT hauls.
Wowowow! 😱 I wish we had Michaels in Australia! This satisfied the bargain hunter in me!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE
I love everything!
Geez our Michaels has junk in those bags. I've never seen such nice grab bags. Good for you!!!
These grab bags are atrociously full. Glass is not supposed to be grab bagged as it is dangerous (people tear through the bags and break it)! Also the 4 dollars on each grab bag goes towards funding the Michaels Cares program, which supports Michaels employees in need of help. Also big items are usually grab bagged separately (4 dollars for one big sign). Whoever made these bags probably wanted to get rid of the merchandise desperately (its only supposed to be bagged in Michaels bags not garbage bags). Usually this stuff is all thrown out at the end of the retail season so instead they grab bag it all to make some money back.
This is the 1st time I've ever seen them in trash bags... they have always used their own bags. I'm guessing since the items were heavy and big they used the trash bags. Very good information you shared. Thank you
This is probably why they have them in boxes near the registers. So that people can just pick the bag they want and not go around picking through the bags. A grab bag is "you get what you get" so people should not be tearing the bags.
Me You, the "glasses" are plastic. I could tell when she held one up to show the pattern.
They are always in bags at my local store
Michaels was RIDICULES on the prices of their Fidget Spinners, so were other stores. Dollar Tree had them, everybody I know went to Dollar Tree. Five Below threw theirs out, because they weren’t selling. And the Spinners were being sold everywhere! So, I’m NOT surprised that Michaels had theirs in Grab Bags🤷🏻♀️.
Wow. So cool. Good finds & deals. Especially liked the different color plates y got in the $4.00 bag. Great idea. Deb
That's a lot of plates. I like the orange ones in particular but I think it would be fun to have an eclectic set with the different colours. The baskets I would see if I could pick off the blue writing without it affecting the actual basket weave too much. I'd use one in the bathroom to hold toilet rolls. The fidget spinners might be good stocking fillers or given out at Halloween perhaps?
I'm in the UK so we don't have stores here but Michael's always stuck me as being hugely over priced and I've always wondered who shops there without using a coupon.
Those fidget spinners would be nice for That Samaritan's Purse at Christmas time.or toys for tots. U r so lucky my Michael's don't have these bags! Ugh!! Great deal for you! Love all or your videos! Have a great day!!!😘
Oh my gosh, Jen! I’ve never seen so much in a bag or a box and all those spinners lmao! Nice stocking stuffers for Xmas or a hospital donation..?! And the plates....ALL those plates, it’s party time.
TFS
You could use the plates or give Christmas cookies on if you do those
Awesome !!! Loved watching your video!! Thanks!!
one word WOW! geez you got some great items. I never make it in time to grab the bags. Came over from bargain bethany

Great idea!
LOL-give out PLATES for Halloween!
I was thinking maybe you can give some to saint judes or to annother childrens hospital
Wish we had a Michaels where I live. We just have a JoAnns and a Hobby Lobby store. Trying to encourage my daughter to check out her Michaels store.
I'm amazed about this haul.....I just want one of those metal hooks....love it....💕
First video of Michael's grab bags and I'm in love. Thank you
The straw ball tumblers for girls nights are ideal for cocktails or mocktails, thats what we use them for in the uk anyway ❤
I got that sip, shop, repeat bag x 3 as well in the grab bags I bought. I'm not one to use big bags but I'm using them to carry laundry up and down my basement! So much easier than baskets or bulky plastic totes!
That's awesome that you got the baskets and great idea on using for laundry. I might do the same
That is actually what would have use that bags for. Look sturdy
Since i live on a small island and swimming is very common I would use it as a beach bag
Increasable.those white hooks are just perfect for my decor I hope my micheals has some.
Great items Jennifer! Never saw any bags marked down in my town. Must not have gone at the right time. Anyway, had to look up and see what that Ball Tumbler was... just a fancy drink cup. Thanks for the video... enjoyed it.

"C'est la vie". French for " that's life".
I totally got distracted when I saw your fur babies 💜 but I knew you must have a frenchie from the print on your wall by the front door 🥰
Yes I have a Frenchie and 2 Boston Terriers. The tan one you seen in the beginning is the Frenchie ( Josie)
Hi new subbie here🤗
AND I thought I had clearance skills. Gosh I hope to have a haul like that, for all the same reasons you mentioned. OUTSTANDING! You & the doggies are quite delightful.
This is an add on idea to Kathy Watson's. Cut hola sign in half use ho ho ho for Christmas Kathy's idea. Take it up la la la to a music teacher, do the scales 🎼🎶la la la la la la la🎶🎤🎵
Do y'all have a paw pals? They take donations for their sales to keep more fur babies alive.

The pink plates and cups you can give them to breast cancer survivors👜or to a place who have breast cancer awareness events😊...October is breast cancer awareness👙
That's a wonderful idea😍
You can hook up all the Spanish teachers in your town with Hola signs!
That sip shop repeat basket would be prefect if you shop at aldi's to put groceries in :)
Mushi Gal I see girls using them at farmers markets
Thats exactly what i did with mine. I grabed 2 of those grab bags at micheals and they gave me 2 "free" sip shop and repeat bags
Sounds good for groceries I just read yesterday in the state of Georgia beginning October 1 they do not have have to give out plastic bags. The ones used must be biodegradable and stores like Goodwill and several others have been using them for months that's why they treat so easily. They want the consumer to get in the habit of taking their own reusable bags to the store. Like the bags you can purchase from stores such as Ross, TJ Max, etc. So you might want to hang onto the bags or any others close to them because it will be happening in most states soon.
Wow, That's Amazing!! I had no idea Michaels had $4 grab bags. I'll have to start looking for them. Thank You!!

When do they have these grab bags?
RE RE Love is there a certain time of year they do these?
I'd love to buy some Michael's mystery bags, but I go for their art supplies, and I have yet to see anything art related. Although I do love doing crafts, I'm more a fan of needle crafts, and haven't seen any of that either :S.
It's generally only holiday items. But sometimes it'll be items that are discontinued. But then those items will hang out in clearance until they are damaged, unfortunately.
@@shaje42 I've seen people get a few bags I was interested in, and I'm thinking Halloween and Christmas are my best bet.
