I really like the detail of your fabrication and verbal explanation . I have gotten good tips that will be helpful for the power windows conversion on a 63 Dodge sweptline project in my shop
You did a great job, but way too fast for me eyes, especially cutting the regulator rail and separating the motor from the rail. Do you cut the worm drive tube to separate it from the motor housing?
Lucas, just recently came across your channel...so awesome THANKS! I have a "69 bug with single windows and have always had issues. Tried several different things that promised results but no luck, I am definitely going this route. Have you installed the cable door stops yet, just wondering how you are going to do it? I know the factory metal stoppers won't work as they will actually break the single windows so I would love to get some insight from an actual Fabricator like yourself. PS, I have now watched almost all of the Curt's Bug videos...great Job all the way around...first rate my friend
Thanks! I haven’t gotten to the door stops yet. I have the cables and will try those first. I might try another idea I have, but will see when we get there. It will be a while before I get to it. We need to get a bunch of other stuff out of the way first. Anyway, thanks again and until the next one, I’ll see ya around!
Hey man Kevin here from Australia. Very interesting video thankyou for sharing. Q. Have you installed this system with the quarter window in place. Anyhoo stay safe and stay well. ✌ Peace man.
I'm electing you for the Nobel Peace Prize. You're the first to provide such a comprehensive method for installing one Windows...
That was the trippiest intro ever... an automatic window on a classic Beetle.

Awesome, thank you!
You're a great teacher. Thank you.
You should have a link for the full version video. I see you doing more explaining on the fast forwarding parts of the video.
Your skills are amazing! Thanks for sharing these videos.
That was a great video! If you keep your vent window, can you mount the switch behind the frame instead of cutting the door? Thanks!
Would you anticipate all of the same problems/modifications being needed for a 74 Super Beetle with the quarter window?
Very cool Lucas. Thank you!
Thanks!
That sweet. I’m planning on doing this to a 62 Ford f100. Wondering if you could help with the wiring instructions
Great details
Thanks!
Can you do these for me
Hey man my tube I added slips out when the window rolls up I added claps and tighten it still comes off any ideas why or what I could do
Well done!
Thanks!

How do you protect that motor from moisture and rain?
When we install the door vapor barrier, we’ll add a supplemental portion of it to cover the motor.

✌ Peace man.
I have not. My gut tells me that if you move the lift track back and keep it centered in the glass, it should work.
@@The2CarGarage it would be interesting to fit up an old unusable door to see how good it works.
I do have a set of junk doors here...
@@The2CarGarage you could put a kit together.
Anyway to vet a more unedit video to hear u talk more?
Can you do these for me
