My invitation with these pictures of Jesus and his life is for people to think about our Savior.
To think about His humble life, but then step back and think about the ascended Christ - the resurrected Christ - the one who still watches over us, who pleads for us now and forever. He is amazingly graceful. We do all we can do, but after that, we are completely saved by His grace. He is the source of our salvation."

When I used to go to the LDS church, this video was shown in our Young Women's class. I loved it so much and was in tears. I miss the LDS church. But I came to the conclusion that I didn't agree with what Joseph Smith had done and how he translated the Book of Mormon, and I didn't agree with some of the doctrine (eternal progression, endowment ceremony, etc). I miss it so much, I always felt at home there and haven't felt the same since. I still love this video and the hymns from the church.
I just got home from my mission 9 days ago, one of my companions and I used this slideshow a lot. It really brings the Spirit like few things can. It was so awesome to see it again just now. LOVE the song too.
I know He is my Saviour, blessed be his holy name, for ever and ever.
I am so grateful also for those who have the talent to put together projects like this...it has brought a very sweet spirit to me. Watching this slideshow, and looking at these pictures makes the savior such a reality in my life. I know he lives and loves us so much that we would give his life for us and suffer so that we might live and return to him one day.
how i love my saviour and everything he has done for me, i can never repay him for what he has done for me.
My favorite version of, "Come thou font." Helps me to feel the spirit of my Savior. I love this video!

For those who love the Savior, this slideshow is a modern portrait of the same spirit that inspired other artists to paint, write, compose, material about Christ. It brings the best there is in us, it makes us feel so much love and appreciation for the life and sacrifice of Him who did not have to, and yet, died for us, I can´t thank enough for those artists who put into images, words, melodies what we feel inside.
I just went to a fireside and heard Brother Freddy Ashby sing "Amazing Grace" and heard Brother Mark Marbry bear testimony and tell of how he came to create this amazing inspired work. The spirit in that room was so strong and just hearing the singing and seeing the pictures as I type this brings back that same spirit. This was such a powerful spiritual experience. I know they were both blessed with such incredible gifts. I bear testimony of "Reflections of Christ" In Christ's Holy name Amen

I had a vision of Christ right before Christmas this year on December 23, 2016. The vision looked exactly like your photo, Light and Life. Exactly, with one difference. Christ had glorious wings, slightly folded not outstretched. And he came closer and wrapped his wings around me. And, then he was gone.

I love this song and this presentation of the images of Christ. I cannot believe it has been 15 years. My 16 year old son randomly started singing this song the other day and my mom heart melted. I have played this a lot in his lifetime.
I know the Savior lives and that makes me soooooooooo happy :)

I know that Christ lives & that he loves us no matter what we believe or do!
I believe in the Christ that the Bible teaches & i've studied the BOM with the bible by its side & i feel the holy ghost, I know that they're both witnesses of our beloved Savior! In 2 Chron 34:21 A book was found thought to be the words of God. Josiah asked his servants to "enquire of the Lord for me, ..concerning the words of the book". It's also possible with The Book of Mormon! GOD will speak the truth! Jam 1:5
I would give my life so that my son would have a normal life....please GOD cure him of his illness because just thinking of his future without me brings tears to my eyes..A father would do anything for his son, please GOD I beg you to cure him....Why do bad people rapists, killers have good health and some innocent kids don't?

Sharing this on my blog tomorrow! I have loved this slideshow for years and own the DVD. I played it for my primary children during singing time last week since we are learning the song He Sent His Son and the story goes hand-in-hand. Thank you for your beautiful work, Mark. The children and teachers loved it! We had a wonderful discussion about their favorite pictures. Mine are the ones of Joseph in the cave and Jesus and John the Baptist embracing. Beautiful! The Spirit is always strong when I watch this.

Book of mormon was written before, during, and after jesus walked the earth, it's not quite the newest thing around ;) it was only translated from hebrew to english in the 1800's but you're free to believe what you wish :)

@grapeexmagoo There is a reason you felt at home at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is true. Your spirit knows... the world has led you away to other paths, but it's never too late to come back. Grab onto that 'home' feeling in your heart and let it lead you to prayer to Heavenly Father in Jesus' name and head back Home soon. ♥
The lord doesn't reveal himself to the world, we've come to the world for a test, not to follow what others tell us to do. You should try saying a prayer, you have the choice to do it, or not. Or try reading the book of mormon, like a verse or true. The truth is revealed and you will know the basic knowledge of life and the history of our earth :) we believe what we choose to believe, I respect your perspective :)

Why do all these people think it's fine to degrade and insult LDS members? It doesn't accomplish anything except start a pointless argument over an issue that can't be resolved by fighting. Why can't you all just enjoy the music and draw closer to Jesus Christ, instead of fighting? I don't think fighting with each other is helping you come closer to Jesus. It just makes you angry....

This is the most moving rendition of 'Come Thou Fount' I have ever heard. Coupled with the slideshow, it's nothing short of heavenly. If there's a cover that approaches this particular one in beauty, I am yet to listen to it. Does anyone know who's the artist credited with this version ? i would very much like to know !

I really need to know whether Jesus Christ was real or not. If He is, then it's great to know my mistakes are paid for, however I'm very logical, and have struggles everyday fighting with questions. How can I speak with Jesus or make communication with him? I want to hear or feel his influence for real, not just my subconscience or emotions, I hope you understand.
Luke Randall I understand but that will not happen in this life for this life is to try our faith. If you don’t know what faiths means then search it in the dictionary. If you saw him physically you wouldn’t have faith anymore and you wouldn’t need to be here on earth anymore. Patience and faith. You WILL see him and hug when your mortal life is done. Patience... and absolute faith.
