It can be a struggle if you’re trying to find a position somewhere in between monk mode and dating / playboy mode. I’m 40 now, have had some great and some terrifying experiences with women. Somehow now I’m at a point where I detached a little bit from either side. The main focus of course is me and my self optimization physically mentally spiritually. That’s unshakable and unmovable. When I encounter women now, I pay close attention not only to their past but also to their daily habits. At what time do they get up. Workout? Are they self improving? Are they truly feminine and embrace and enrich my true masculinity? Is there a peaceful and positive vibe around them? I observe how she interacts with other people, how she talks about people of her past. I give it much more time. Many change faces after a few months, so always beware and never neglect any red flag. NEVER simp and always remain detached, sometimes more sometimes less. NEVER hesitate to cut her off at any given time or day. Your time and energy are everything you have in this life.
I tried the younger woman route and let me tell you its much worse, she knows her worth and is aware of how much her youth will net her whomever she wants!

Divorced professional Black woman -great job with Fedex corporate, attractive and built really nice, dark skin, gorgeous smile. She always commented to me after her divorce that she wished she could find a man like me. I was happily married so she didn’t push the issue but now that she knows my situation shes very interested. She just waiting for me to call her and she basically said we need to get together. 2. Another single black female, attractive but overweight. Ive seen her in shape and she can be stunning. Shes a struggling realtor but she does pretty well-real go getter. Shes a single mom with a Son in college. To me I think she would treat me very well. 3. Three agressive college aged girls I could have taken home that day and had my way with them but I did not want to even go there. 4. A good friend of mine who I haven talked to for a while. He called me to tell me sorry about my wife as he has been working across the country with his wife for the past 2 years. Sorry you are too old to have kids and I am only bothering to say this because you are a college professor so capable of going to wikipedia and gene databases to check out what I am saying. But there is far too much evidence on paternal age and birth defects, autism etc etc. Basically each year past the age of 35 your sperm start collecting more mutations, because in humans a great bulk of these mutations affect the nervous system development, when you get to 50 the chances of having neurodivergent or disabled kids is quite high. And also something similiar but less extreme happens to older women. So at 60 dont even think about it unless you are prepared to have each fetus genetically screened, and are prepared to create a full time bio project doing extra nerdy gene scanning work yourself (because the services available only do this for major well characterised problems, not all the neurodivergent stuff). Yes we all know older men who had healthy kids, but we all know some who have kids with autism, all types of neurodivergent and behavioural issues that cause failure to launch. I would guess the odds become 50:50 or 25:75 one way or another. Thats unacceptable risk, but maybe it improves with genetic screen and abortion. And those kids will be dealing with that having a 70 or 80 year old parent... as a result of their condition will likely be more socially isolated, poor and unable to have a family themselves, and then have no parents as well. Think beyond your selfish needs. OK maybe it can be justified with Pacino and De niro etc doing it, they can get the best screening and their kids will have wealth, connections and historical status to draw on.
