But the people next round will probably get more? So almost 3,000 of us holding leases are shit out of luck until next time? How does the que randomize the 50% city 50% elsewhere and then also 50% non see and 50% see in a que? This is all backwards shame on you guys for leading us on all of these months every time you said 500-1000 retail but more as we see how many applied well thousands applied and here’s 250 for you guys when all the caurd applications with leases that fit we’re approved correct? I feel like I was duped. Everything said 500-1000 for retail licenses and now it’s only 250. Like everyone else, we have spent quite a bit of money, setting up a business and the licensing fee with those numbers. I don’t think I would have spent the money or the time with the chances of getting a license so low. I hope they address this!

The costs and need for formalized business prior to application is a barrier to social equity applicants Also knowing that Black men were disproportionately targeted by stop and frisk and the war on drugs additional preference should be given to SEE members even if they don't meet all criteria- many young adults were given alternative to conviction opportunities but were definitely impacted excessively
