Ok so I’ve noticed that some trucks have two wires running down to the reverse taillight, how do I know which one I should splice it with? For my truck it’s green and black.
I believe that year range of Chevy trucks have 2 green wires, you may have wired it to the wrong one. A sure way to check is to use a voltmeter/wire probe tester. I have a 2000 Silverado, and mine has 2 green wires as well.
our car doesnt have the 4 pin flat socket. i plan to hard wire the product. the supply wires are as follows 1. Ground 2. Running light 3. Brake 4. Left turn 5. Right Turn 6. Reverse the product i bought has 5 terminals / wires ; 3 colors - red, amber, and white 1. Ground 2. Running light (red low beam) 3. Left turn 4. Right Turn 5. Reverse i do not know where to connect the brake supply wire from the car to produce the high red beam
I know trucks tail gates are flat and straight but does the bar bend or have any flexibility to it? Would like to know to maybe apply to a different vehicle.
Holding up great I was driving behind that truck the other day, all the LED's are still bright and all the same color brightness! highly recommend it!!
Will this work on a 2001 Chevy Silverado?
This should work with a 93 c1500 Chevy stepside right

I may have a faulty led light cause I did the splice with the green wire for the reverse and it didn’t work. Every other function does tho.
97 Silverado.

Probably tapped the wrong wire.
It's been 4 months, have you fixed it yet?

Anyone else notice that delay when he turns on his blinkers and break pedal ?
Thanks for the video

It doesn't have much bend to it, not enough to attempt putting it on something that isn't flat.
This same company makes flexible light bars. I just installed on on a Yukon that had a curve under my hatch door.
Did the light bar come with the splice kit and all the stuff in the box or did you buy those separate?
It came with everything you saw in the video. I highly recommend it!!
Lonestar Speed, thank you
Upgrade ur entire truck lighting to leds u have leds with incodecent bulbs
I have no idea what you're trying to say but ok???
Lonestar Speed he is saying change your stock lights to led lights and it will look awesome but good job on install
@@RUBV yes there u go thank you...
can you hold your foot on brake and use turn signal same time or does the signal light go out?
The turn signal stays on while on the brakes.
what was tht tool called? the stick to grab the wire threw the tail light housing in the body
I think is called a flexible grabber. Harbor freight or any auto parts store.
thanks!
Beau travail, l'ami. Merci pour la vidéo.
Je vous remercie
🐂
My truck won't start after I installed 3 harnesses to run 5 light bar what's wrong
What's wrong
I don't know. I didn't have an issue like that. Maybe you have a battery issue I'm not much help sorry.
Still holding up ok?
Still working great!
Looks good. But amber is supposed to be in the front. Stay safe my friend.
Both colors are legal but if I could go back I would have put the all red one on the truck.
How is that light bar holding up
