there is another issue people might suffer from if you attach a new monitor on a G-Sync or Free sync compatible card, the mouse might twitch or dragging and moving stuff will feel laggy.
you just need to reboot your system with your new monitor attached and it will be fixed.
this is especially common on Nvidia gpu Laptops.

Was having this same issue after upgrading to a 5700G. I tried the Global C state, and it seemed to improve a little, but wasn't resolved. After scrubbing the internet, I found a really simple and dumb solution. I plugged the mouse into a different USB port while in Windows. Windows did it's setting up, and the issue seems to be resolved so far. Fwiw, I'm using a cheaper Cooler Master Devastator 3 mouse. It doesn't have any functions that require proprietary drivers.
When I did the upgrade I unplugged everything from my computer to put it over on my work desk. I suspect I didn't plug in every USB device into the same ports and it caused some kind of conflict when Windows finally booted up for the first time. So yeah, maybe just try unplugging the mouse and trying a different USB port before driving yourself crazy looking for high tech solutions.

I have a Ryzen 7 5700G. I had the same problem. I've been contacting GPU and CPU support for months, updating the bios and drivers, but nothing worked. I read your comment and that was all I had to do... thanks

Updated NVIDA...had this for 2 weeks. Actually, when you said disabling G Sync I tried that first. It "seems" to have fixed for me after a restart. Just FYI. I will try to update here if it comes back.

I installed Rx 550 on my old PC with a pentium e5300 and the setting you mentioned was disabled. So still I have this problem. I also see some weird stuff when my PC opens but that's probably because of the motherboard that is old ig?

Refer to the manual for your specific model of motherboard to find it.

@@MikeTheTech I just got a usb extension cable. I'm crossing my fingers but it's working great so far. I have my wireless dongle thingy hooked up to the ext usb cable. It's next to my keyboard and mouse.

im having a problem with my pc.
the mouse goes smooth then lags, in games the camera cant keep up with the gpu like it follows then jumps forwards always lagging, 3 days ago no issues, it stopped then started again, I'm thinking because of the modding iv done the cpu either needs thermal paste replacement or it needs new cpu and ram I'm not sure??????????

Make sure the lag is not made by 100% high CPU usage.

I would try a new GPU first. I had the same issue so I switched the graphics card to an old one I had and it fixed it. Literally buttery smooth.
