I also made it for my family and we also finished it in like 2 days. And gave a slice to my uncle who LOVED IT and was looking at the cake like he wanted to marry it😂 MAKE THIS CAKE

Lord Jesus! I made this cake yesterday and just cut into it!! It’s veryyyy delicious and i surely will be making it again. I was worried about the large amount of Rum in the glaze so i added half the rum to the glaze while it was cooking and the remainder after it cooked. It’s a perfect balance!! Great recipe!!
Found on her website This cake was AMAZING .. moist, not too sweet but delectable .. sweet inviting strong rum aroma .. warmed the taste buds paired well with Baileys Irish cream .. to make it fake healthy I cut the sugar in cake and icing down to a cup .. added more rum to the icing once it cooled and had a thin shell on it .. EVERYONE loved it. I am so thankful for this recipe. Looked exactly like the pic. Thank u so much for sharing 5 stars.. but 20 for real for real

Made it for Thanksgiving. Turned out great. Mom's tip: add rum for several days. I used stevia instead of sugar/brown sugar and I recommend the same. It turned out totally awesome. I did include honey and I did double duty on the topping by adding it to the batter and using it as a topping. Totally fab. I did about 50/50 pistachios and walnuts for both.

Made this cake last night and just took it out the pan this morning. This is my second cake from scratch and my first rum cake made this for my son Bday. Somehow my nuts lol walnuts don’t stand out as much as your it look like some may have cooked into the cake but it looks delicious. Well let you know tonight when we cut it.

Funny story about the kids for you. One Christmas, we left our teenagers in the kitchen playing monopoly while the adults were up front having adult fun. I went back into the kitchen for something and those teenagers had eaten half of my cake! We told them they gets NO MO Cake and we had to bring it up front with us. The cake was so good and moist. #Memories
