Hi mate from Australia! Love the channel you have helped me a lot with problems with my 2016 Mazda 6 touring. Can you tell me what Mazda did to fix the problems with the exhaust camshaft in the later models? I checked mine and it’s not worn but I had to remove the rocker cover to change the injector seals and clean out the carbon from the cylinder head. I also changed the oil strainer and found a broken main cap bolt in the sump. I’m not sure but I think the bolt was over tightened by someone before. I replaced both bolts on the main cap. Have you ever had that before?

I had similar case. It was regenerating. During regen was not giving power and eventually on Highway it will go for indefinite regeneration until I slow down. Tried everything. Injector correction factor at idle ware perfect. Finally I have installed other good Injectors and problem is gone. Just that you know.

@ Yes they were overfilling
I think nozzle tips was bad. Found good second hand one and it is fine now

Happened to a client, valves were stuck in the guides. We changed guides, new valves, new rocker arms and camshafts. The car has run for 15k kms and now I have again the cylinder with exactly the same problem, worn camshafts, stuck valves etc.
I dont know why this happened, something must be wrong with the dpf regen
Did you install oem mazda parts? Did you check oil pump and hydraulic lifters?
What did the head machine shop said, why stucked the valve in the guide? - carbon deposit? bent valve? too little valve to guide clearance?!
@@brankomrkonjic9131yes, everything oem as there are no alternative parts. New lifters and the oil pump was no problem, no crankshaft damage and the right oil pressure at start so we re used it
@@csabapalko1851i am the machine shop, the valve was stuck as there were little or no oil through the guide. It stuck open and then it bent. There was no problen with clearance as the engine run for 15k kms and we did leave a little more clearance when we repaired it two years ago. if the problem were clearance it would have been stuck way earlier. Now client says he checked pistons and there is one piston with a hole, he suggest the problem is injector leaking through the washer and then dirt from injectors come into the valvetrain and camshafts and into the guides leaving the valves without lubrication. I dont know, i have only seen the cylinder head, the block is still in the car
