  • In this episode of Diggin’ In The Tapes, I introduce you to my buddy, my brother the rock n roll machine Mr. @bobbleed . [Link in Bio]
In 2003 when I was looking for stories for volume 1 of mad fabricators, I remember reading a CK deluxe magazine that featured this great story about how this young guy in Wisconsin had taken his dad’s hot rod and rebuilt it. Then, when I was on the hamb that same guy started posting. I thought it was the coolest story ever, and I knew I had to go out to Wisconsin meet and shoot this guys story. Once I arrive and we hung out we were instabros [TM]. From that moment on Mad Fabricators was in full swing! Without Bob Mad Fabricators Society would not be what it became. His partnership in this made the videos unique and brought a sort of vibe that most viewers can relate too hanging with their good buddies, screwing around, having fun and causing a ruckus. So I figured this would be a start to Diggin in The Tapes official MFS episode with my buddy that made MFS shine with the story of his amazing survivor hot rod! Make sure to Subscribe, like and comment if you’re liking Digging In The Tapes! #bobbleed #survivor #madfabricators #volume1 #mfs #hotrod #custom #history

I can hinestly say Mad fabricators changed my life. The music, the videos, the images, the whole feel i got from it. I was in my early teens and kind of a loner, didn't fit in anywhere and it opened up a whole world to me. I really miss those days. Thanks Bob and Pierro!

So cool looking back at all these videos. After seeing this video back in the day and reading about the night, owl diner, car show
on The HAMB, was stoked to visit Milwaukee. As fate would have it shortly there after my race team, I was working for went to Wisconsin and I was able to hook up with some of the cheaters and meet them and see all their cool cars at their houses. I feel like these videos all played apart in my formative years of traditional Hot Rodding.

I met Bob 2 years ago at Flatout Friday in Milwaukee. I was so excited to meet him i accidentally hit the power button instead of the camera button when I took our selfie! 😂😂

Cool to see this again with the updates. Met Bob years before this on the way to "Back to the 50s" show coming from Milwaukee to Minnesota. I was instantly drawn in by the pipes and was blown away by the car. He told me the story and was a very cool, understated guy. I'm happy for Bob's longevity and success and hope that you are doing better and improving every day.

I think it was the random Tweedy Pie vid popping up here on YT that intro'd me to MFS.
Went to eBay and found the first three DVDs and got hooked for life.

There you go. The story I have to tell you has this very man at the hart of it. What fellow bob bleed is. The shot of him sitting on the John was so funny. Take care all the best. Tim.
