Hey everyone, you do not need to take off the interior panel to change the exterior door handle. Just take out the hidden screw behind the black cap, and you can pull out the lock cylinder and also the door handle. Check out other videos on this by yiannis pagonis

Thank you for this tip! I can confirm that you don't need to remove the interior panel for the front door handles. You do need to remove them for the rear door handle replacement though sadly because of that hidden T-30 screw that's behind the the rear door lock actuator.

Mine didn't work? It fit in fine and everything tightened up but when I pull the handle it just comes out with no force behind it? Am I missing a piece on the inside not under the handle that should be?

What if you only need to replace the handle part NOT the lock mechanism?

You have to remove the lock to get to the handle.. but you don't have to remove the door panel and second screw like he showed.
