I'm always glad you give Pantheon such love. I agree that it's better than Maverick. I still really wish they had done better with the presentation but the actual coaster is top notch.
I'm so happy Batman is receiving the love it deserves from you! Rode it during the press event and have it ranked as my number 1 coaster in Europe. My number 1 blitz coaster still is Veloci though😂 3. Maverick 4. Taron 5. Hagrids 6. Cheetah hunt
My favorite model too, hands down! I’ve ridden all the ones in the US + Taron (well besides Pantheon) and I love how different each ride feels- like you said in the intro 🙌

I rode taron on a calibration run ones. It was absolutely insane, after leaving the train i almost fell down and felt dizzy (never experienced that on a different coaster). Would love to get that experience again
I've only ridden four of these so far -- Cheetah Hunt, Hagrid's, Maverick and VelociCoaster -- but two of them are two of my favorite coasters (in my top five) -- Maverick and VelociCoaster. Maverick and VelociCoaster are both perfect coasters to me. I mentioned before that I ended up liking Maverick better than Steel Vengeance on my first trip to Cedar Point, and Maverick was my favorite coaster in the park. I couldn't stop riding it over and over again. At one point, I told myself: "Okay that was the last ride for the day. Time to hit something else before the park closes"-- but I wound up hopping right back on it again. VelociCoaster is GODLY. My second favorite coaster (very closely behind Iron Gwazi). I rode it several times throughout the day and finished off my day at the park with two consecutive night rides -- I was lucky enough to get on the second to last train at around 6:50pm. I love how VelociCoaster's second half and Maverick's entire layout are so aggressive and relentless -- and also insanely fun. Both coasters are so easily rerideable, even with their levels of intensity and aggression. As much as I love intense, aggressive and relentless coasters, there are a few I've ridden that are only rerideable a few times in a row before I have to take a break before getting back on them. This wasn't the case with VelociCoaster or Maverick. I enjoyed Cheethah Hunt, but I was also underwhelmed by it. I went into it with the impression that it was supposed to be more intense and aggressive than it actually was. It was fun enough, but I had hoped for more from it. Still, I did enjoy it more than Hagrid's. Hagrid's was okay, but it didn't really do much for me at all. Ultimately, it's not the kind of coaster that does. I'm sure I'll feel the same way about Big Bear Mountain when I ride it. Taiga and Batman Gotham City look like roller coaster perfection to me, and I'm pretty sure they would both be up there in my favorites with Maverick and VelociCoaster. I can see how Intamin Blitz coasters are your favorite model since two of them are in my top five favorite coasters, with two RMC's -- 1. Iron Gwazi 2. VelociCoaster 3. ArieForce One 4. Maverick 5. Fury 325. I'm sure that if I rode more of them than I have -- ones like Taiga, Batman Gotham City, Tatoutis, Pantheon (you better be open next time), they would be my favorite coaster model as well. Right now, they are even with RMC hybrids as my favorite coaster models.
My favorite blitz and coaster is undoubtedly Velocicoaster. It’s pacing is literally unmatched by any other blitz, and the diversity of elements and the strength of them is what makes it so amazing! I do tend to care a bit too much about theming so I was so excited to find out how good this ride did theming. I rode it on the first day of passholder previews and will never forget that experience. It’s remained my #1 for over 2 years now and will most likely never be beat.
Definitely the best launched coaster. I too have it high in my list, only beaten out by toro and iron gwazi , which is saying something, as I do have quite a few credits.
My favorite roller caster is legitimately tied between hagrid's and velocicoaster. Hagrids has the most insane theming that I've ever seen on a roller coaster, and for me, nothing can beat themeing, so they're tied.
@@ripslyyou could argue fly is better themed. I personally prefer tarons theming, but FLY has more interaction with its environment and has the same basic idea of flying through a town
@@flipfreedom9872Cool. Alton towers is my home park and some of the coasters there are world class. But you probably went at the wrong time since nemesis was closed for a retrack when you wrote that comment.
Maverick has to me my #1 blitz. That, Steel Vengeance and the Voyage are the only three I've come off gasping for breath after my first rides. Batman GCE has to be #2. The launch feels like it's hydrolic (first launch), the wait is less than VC, a 750mL/26oz. beer is less than 6€/$6.50 and it has two absolutely trademark elements. VC is #3.
All Speeds (Sunac Land Chengdu) seems slower, because after the 2nd launch, the 'top hat' is taller. In the interview of Intamin by CoasersWorld, Daniel Schoppen (vice president of Intamin) explained that with the feedbacks on Taron, they raised this element by 5 meters, because there were less limitations than Phantasialand. The launch technology also changed, he said it was invisible for the riders, but for maintenance it's way better.
I rode only Taron and Toutatis and I agree that Toutatis is better, the second part is so good even with the trims, I love that big airtime hill and the final roll

Zokkon is actually really smooth , despite the odd looking profiling. Unfortunately they took out the launch following the backwards section before opening and you can tell it turns the coaster into a family coaster. Great night ride with sound track though.
Favorite model from my favorite manufacturer. I REALLY hope that cedar fair and Intamin rekindle their relationship soon. We need an intamin at kings island.
The only reason I rate Taron over Maverick is because of the one time I was on it in Boost mode. 120% lsms and no trims. That was right after the previous one had a rollback. Absolutely incredible. Wish it would always be in that mode.

Great list! However I've always considered Intamin Blitz as multiple LSM launches and a complete circuit, which would disqualify 2 of your top 5 for me!
I do prefer Maverick to Pantheon myself, but even so, Pantheon is insanely underrated. It's really fun, with great launches, airtime, and pacing. Still sits in my top 10.
I was torn in six different directions because I hadn't been on a single one of these other than hagrid... until you hit #1 lmao. On the other hand, we did go on Velocicoaster repeatedly until we were literally shaking because it was late, in December, and the single rider queue only took 15 minutes. 😂 The water section is incredible, it really feels like you could just reach out and take a dip in the lake if you could figure out which way gravity was going. I think what makes it even better is the second acceleration is timed so well with the audio and the mini story line they've got going on. One second you go "oh shit" bc the raptor warning and then "OH SHIIIIIIT" bc you're suddenly going Really Really fast.
MAVERICK CHANGED MY WHOLE IDEA OF NEEDING HEIGHT ON A COASTER!!! That baby hauls and thrills excessively!! Too bad they took out that "heartline roll" after the 1st drop!! Too much stress on the track and I think on some people that couldn't handle the intensity!! So glad I got to experience that before it was removed. It took the whole ride to another level. I feel Cedar Fair tamed it down and lost the whole thrill.
I have Velocicoaster ahead of Toutatis. I think Toutatis is the better coaster but I think Velocicoaster is the better overall package. After those 2 I have Taron third, pantheon 4th and maverick 5th. Taron would be behind the other two if in a field but the presentation moves it ahead. I will hopefully get on Taiga next year and Batman in 2025.
Taking into account that I’ve only been on 2 of these, Pantheon is my favorite because of the little bump in the swing launch. In the back row, you get yanked out of your lap bar, leaving you stunned until you realize that you’re dropping 95 degrees
I've only ridden 2 of these, Pantheon and Maverick, and I love both. But Maverick absolutely blew me away, its number 3 in my top 25. That second launch is insane! BGW and Kings Dominion are my home parks so I've had tons of rides on Pantheon, its my favorite in the park, and number 12 on my top 25 list. Maverick reminds me of I305 (I refuse to call it Project 305 lol) with all the snappy transitions.
I have 3 Blitz coasters is my top 5 and the other 2 spots are occupied by Intamin mega coasters 😂, Id rank them like this: 1. Taron, 2. Toutatis, 3. Gotham City Escape
Ive only done Maverick and Pantheon but I definitely like Maverick more. I love compact coasters that absolutely haul through their layouts, so Maverick definitely fits the bill. One of the only coasters I've done that really feels one of a kind, truly spectacular ride. Pantheon is also awesome. Really out of the box layout with some seriously fun elements. Also the backwards bunny hill is a contendor for my favorite coaster element, absolutely nuts element
velocicoaster IS NOT better than gwazi in my opinion. I honestly think i would enjoy riding taiga all day more than velocicoaster due to its nasty rattle and short ride time.
Of the ones I’ve ridden here’s my ranking. To be clear all of these rides are fantastic and in my top 10 favorite coasters. 4. Hagrid’s 3. Pantheon 2. Maverick 1. VelociCoaster
It may use a hydraulic launch but Matugani at Lost Island definitely seems more like a Blitz model than an Accelerator model. It's incredibly short but is a pretty good overall coaster.
I’ve ridden cheetah hunt many times it’s the most rides I’ve gotten on a coaster and is my number 1 at the park (for now that will be replaced by gwazi soon) it has great airtime and has never disappointed me and I haven’t ridden Kumba as it has been broken down all my visits or Tigris as I have ridden tempesto or gwazi as it was closed after wildcats revenge opened
I love all the coasters on your list, but I feel Hagrid's doesnt get the recognition it deserves because its a "family coaster". A front row night on the motorbike side is amazing and when you throw in the unreal theming it is as fun as it gets.
i got a front night ride on it on my last trip like 3 weeks ago hands down one of the best night rides on any coaster I've ridden also got a night ride on velocicoaster great but overall hagrids has a better night ride
Never been on an Intamin Blitz, but I'm (somewhat) patiently waiting for Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift and then I can ride a blitz- style Coaster, but with SPINNING!!! SO EXCITED!!💙💙 I LOVE INTAMIN 💙
Taiga is such a great coaster. Personally like it more than Velocicoaster and Taron. That ride is basically intamin's greatest hits in one single ride.
Maverick is my favorite cedar point coaster. Even though its not the "best" coaster, as that is hands down vengeance, Maverick just holds a special place in my heart. Velocicoaster is probably my #1 overall too.
Haven;t done Velo and batman so Taron is defintly my nr 1 taiga my nr 2 and maverick my nr 3, Pantheon didn't even make my favorites list i found it very dissapointing (thats dissapointing for a an intamin launch coaster). We defintly have some different tast in this model wich is ok.
Ive only been on 3. 1. Velocicoaster 2. Maverick 3. Hagrids But will go to busch gardens in october where ill ride patheon 🙂 (I'm guessing patheon will place 3rd and bump hagrids to 4th)
I think that Its unfair to say that Universal has so Good theming. They do but the only reason they Can afford it is because its a park chain and run by a company that makes a lot of Money. Phantasialand is a Single Park Not run by a chain, so for Thema to have such Great theming is just insane. But I still arge. Velocicoaster is just the best.
I haven’t done pantheon or have been on any coaster outside of the U.S yet but as of now my top blitz coasters I’ve done are… 1. VelociCoaster 2. Maverick 3. Hagrid’s 4. Cheetah Hunt
Nice ranking, definitely enjoyed it. I like that you highlighted the other Blitz coasters, because some of them get overlooked quite often. Oh and like you said, Zokkon at Fuji-Q nowhere near falls into this category, it rides like a tame version of Juvelen. Not even a thrill coaster lol. Out of the coasters I‘ve ridden, I would probably rank them like this: 1. Taiga 2. Batman GCE 3 Toutatis 4. (Red Force) 5. Taron Can’t wait to ride Red Fire, Nefeskesen, Manta and Storm Coaster next month though
It’s funny you mention that, because I completely forgot Hagrid’s even had straddle seating. I’ve only ever ridden it in the sidecar because that’s where they put you when you wait in the single rider line. I guess that’s enough of a difference right there 😂

Every time I watch your videos, I think my RUclips breaks with the music playing but the screen black but then Fury 325 just pops up at the beginning.

I rode Gotham escape last week and since then I'm still in doubt if Gotham or Veloci is my number 1 - I love them both soooooo much!

I have Velocicoaster ahead of Toutatis. I think Toutatis is the better coaster but I think Velocicoaster is the better overall package. After those 2 I have Taron third, pantheon 4th and maverick 5th. Taron would be behind the other two if in a field but the presentation moves it ahead. I will hopefully get on Taiga next year and Batman in 2025.
Taking into account that I’ve only been on 2 of these, Pantheon is my favorite because of the little bump in the swing launch. In the back row, you get yanked out of your lap bar, leaving you stunned until you realize that you’re dropping 95 degrees

3. Red Force (I consider it a Blitz)

Even if I considered Red Force a blitz coaster, this would be the same list as me 🙌🏻

I've only ridden 2 of these, Pantheon and Maverick, and I love both. But Maverick absolutely blew me away, its number 3 in my top 25. That second launch is insane! BGW and Kings Dominion are my home parks so I've had tons of rides on Pantheon, its my favorite in the park, and number 12 on my top 25 list. Maverick reminds me of I305 (I refuse to call it Project 305 lol) with all the snappy transitions.

I have 3 Blitz coasters is my top 5 and the other 2 spots are occupied by Intamin mega coasters 😂, Id rank them like this: 1. Taron, 2. Toutatis, 3. Gotham City Escape
Ive only done Maverick and Pantheon but I definitely like Maverick more. I love compact coasters that absolutely haul through their layouts, so Maverick definitely fits the bill. One of the only coasters I've done that really feels one of a kind, truly spectacular ride. Pantheon is also awesome. Really out of the box layout with some seriously fun elements. Also the backwards bunny hill is a contendor for my favorite coaster element, absolutely nuts element
velocicoaster IS NOT better than gwazi in my opinion. I honestly think i would enjoy riding taiga all day more than velocicoaster due to its nasty rattle and short ride time.
Of the ones I’ve ridden here’s my ranking. To be clear all of these rides are fantastic and in my top 10 favorite coasters.

It may use a hydraulic launch but Matugani at Lost Island definitely seems more like a Blitz model than an Accelerator model. It's incredibly short but is a pretty good overall coaster.

I’ve ridden cheetah hunt many times it’s the most rides I’ve gotten on a coaster and is my number 1 at the park (for now that will be replaced by gwazi soon) it has great airtime and has never disappointed me and I haven’t ridden Kumba as it has been broken down all my visits or Tigris as I have ridden tempesto or gwazi as it was closed after wildcats revenge opened
Velocicoaster is my favorite too, but Batman was close.

Velocicoaster is the best! I totally agree with you. The top hat is awesome, and I just got to appreciate the mosasaurus roll. It’s just so good.

It's good, but Taiga is better IMO. Taiga has stronger elements and is pretty much the greatest hits of Intamin in one ride.

A blitz like Taron would’ve been perfect at Galaxy’s Edge.
Maverick is miles better than Taron as a coaster, but Tarons theming gives it massive bonus points.

I love all the coasters on your list, but I feel Hagrid's doesnt get the recognition it deserves because its a "family coaster". A front row night on the motorbike side is amazing and when you throw in the unreal theming it is as fun as it gets.
i got a front night ride on it on my last trip like 3 weeks ago hands down one of the best night rides on any coaster I've ridden also got a night ride on velocicoaster great but overall hagrids has a better night ride

Never been on an Intamin Blitz, but I'm (somewhat) patiently waiting for Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift and then I can ride a blitz- style Coaster, but with SPINNING!!! SO EXCITED!!💙💙 I LOVE INTAMIN 💙
Taiga is such a great coaster. Personally like it more than Velocicoaster and Taron. That ride is basically intamin's greatest hits in one single ride.

Maverick is my favorite cedar point coaster. Even though its not the "best" coaster, as that is hands down vengeance, Maverick just holds a special place in my heart. Velocicoaster is probably my #1 overall too.
Haven;t done Velo and batman so Taron is defintly my nr 1 taiga my nr 2 and maverick my nr 3, Pantheon didn't even make my favorites list i found it very dissapointing (thats dissapointing for a an intamin launch coaster). We defintly have some different tast in this model wich is ok.

I think that Its unfair to say that Universal has so Good theming. They do but the only reason they Can afford it is because its a park chain and run by a company that makes a lot of Money. Phantasialand is a Single Park Not run by a chain, so for Thema to have such Great theming is just insane. But I still arge. Velocicoaster is just the best.

Rode pantheon for the first time 3-4 weeks ago it was amazing airtime was insane
Nice ranking, definitely enjoyed it. I like that you highlighted the other Blitz coasters, because some of them get overlooked quite often.
Oh and like you said, Zokkon at Fuji-Q nowhere near falls into this category, it rides like a tame version of Juvelen. Not even a thrill coaster lol.

It’s funny you mention that, because I completely forgot Hagrid’s even had straddle seating. I’ve only ever ridden it in the sidecar because that’s where they put you when you wait in the single rider line. I guess that’s enough of a difference right there 😂

that is a family multilaunch coaster, otherwise known as a straddle coaster. rather than LSM’s, it uses drive tires to launch the train :)
