Nearly five years later this is still the only guitar version of this piece posted on this site.
Because universal music deletes any versions not endorsed by Parts son or Part himself. Not sure how this one got through. But as a rule they reckon guitar is not a suitable instrument for his music 🙄
All these voices in this timeless feel ...marvelous !
You played this with great sensitivity.
Thank you for your generosity in shaking the tab.
Beautiful. As a lover of Arvo Pärt and as a guitarist, I'm not sure why I never tried to realize any of his music on my own guitar... This is great.
A beautiful arrangement and performance of one of my favorite pieces by any composer.
Beautiful! Made my morning, thank you for recording and uploading this. Arvo Part's music is like medicine...
added a link to tab. see discription:)
One of my favorites, thank you for the tab :)
Beautifull I like slow mouvement in music like Brian Eno
Yes, I think this is first cover by guitar. I'll scan my manuscript tab. Wait a few days :)
i thought Arvo's music sounded great in choirs and orchestras only, this is magnificent. if you like this, you may also like the Summa in guitars, by Dublin guitar quartet
I love music!
Great... thank you
Great stuff, can you share the standard notation too, please. Thanks.
Cool! Many thanks :) :)
Hey man, any chance you could send it to me too?
Wow, this is beautiful and highly intense.
If posible I would appreciate the music or tabs, either would be great.
found it. Thank you!!!! rafael55
Nice. But I think original bass notes are missing. Would be nice to write them in too.
Could be re-worked as a guitar duet? There are a few piano duets of this piece on U Tube.
Strange... can't find any other version of this piece for guitar on youtube... would you happen to have the tab for it? Thanks.
