The multi-park ticket with all 3 parks will be the only way to visit Epic Universe when it opens. Single park tickets for Epic Universe will available after the park gains traction over time.
I am thankful for your Epic Universe knowledge. I would like to make my to Universal in thebnext Couple of years. I hope things wont get too complicated to enjoy the experience.
I feel it makes sense that non anual pass holders must purchase a 3 day minimum ticket. The fear is that people will only visit Epic and neglect the other parks. In order to ensure attendance across the resort increases, Universal is extremely smart to make this decision. For anual pass holders, I believe (completely my own speculation) that universal will have single day tickets available through the UOAP portal (similar to discounted HHN tickets). Again, I think this is extremely smart as Universal wants to know how many people are going each day, but acknowledges that unlike regular guests, UOAPs already have admission to the other parks.
We're going to try and be there on opening day. In the meantime, we will probably get to Universal Studios tonight when the weather cools down. 😎 Have a great day !!!
@adamcohen9297 Universal was slammed last night. When we arrived, the temp was 93 degrees around 6 pm. But we managed to still have a good time for the short time we were there.
I wonder if they are worried about selling epic only tickets during soft opening in case something goes majorly wrong and they can't open one day and people demand refunds en masse.
Exactly! I've heard this from a number of sources so there must be some truth in it, this is a way to control crowds and to encourage people to spend more time with them, it's simple enough to me
@@zarajenkins6948well I’ve worked in the travel business and I’ve worked with travel agents and they usually get different promos to try to sell a longer vacation. Usually people buying through agents aren’t buying single day tickets because you can then just buy from universal directly they are looking for the “perfect vacation”. I personally see how the 3 day pass idea can control crowds however you are hurting a huge portion of your crowd which is annual pass holders.

Respectfully disagree. We believe there will be single day tickets closer to park open This is part of a package and not the final ticket option
