I was really scared of the internal bus loop when we stayed at Caribbean beach resort. But the secret is that the bus start running 60 minutes before early entry. There’s literally 4 families in that bus, it’s super early, but worth it!

Every time someone talks about fig jam, I wonder if they'll talk about wasps. Thanks, Alan! Not all fig varieties are pollinated by wasps, so many of the figs in US markets come from plants that can self-pollinate. In any case, any figs with seeds inside tend to be pollinated by wasps. Any crunchy things are seeds, as any wasp bits would be dissolved by a special enzyme. 🙂

Coronado is our FAVORITE & a top tier resort. Especially when it comes to food, we love that there’s so many options (even the food court is pretty decent!!). Everyone is not forced to one or two spots, so it’s spread out and not like your sharing your space with everyone else at the resort. We love it and can’t wait to go back!

I stayed at Coronado during Hurricane Ian and we were so grateful! The tower was our sanctuary - and we really enjoyed the $20 per head all you care to enjoy hurricane buffet at Toledo 🎉
We’re staying here for some of our honeymoon. So I’m very happy for it because it looks so nice and I didn’t want and overly Disney room like I normally do. So this is perfect for us. I honestly feel like the only reason this resort does not have the deluxe price is because of the lack of transportation other than busses. The other deluxe resorts have boats, monorails, or sky liner. So it’s a pretty nice value for the money because it looks as nice or nicer than some deluxe!
My husband and I just finished up our second adult trip staying at Coronado this past weekend (we are Floridians with passes and drive up to the parks every few weekends). We were in the tower on our first trip and we’re in the cabanas this past weekend. We absolutely love this resort. The food is AMAZING and the rooms are beautiful. Highly recommend. We will make this our go-to spot for whenever we come without the kids.

Alan palette is maturing, you can’t be A good chef if you don’t like olives and I’m glad to see that he likes olives. Now if we could only get Molly to enjoy mayonnaise, then you have come full circle. Maybe she’s never had homemade mayonnaise, it’s a very delightful thing. I mean, how can we don't ? We were at the casitas 4 and we loved to be located near the little pool and the amenities The dig site is the biggest I've seen and the signature burger at the three bridges was so delicious ❤ Everything is beautiful, everyone was friendly, food was so good.. I miss it so much 😢

I love Gran Destino at Coronado Springs. I have notice that the bus situation at the tower is not that bad; I've always gotten an empty bus first thing in the morning and made it to rope drop no problem. The tower is the last stop at the end of the night, but I would occasionally hop off at the first stop and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful resort at night, cause I didn't have enough steps already 😀 Anywho, I don't know about the other stops in the resort, but I've never had a full bus in the morning at Gran Destino. Also, even the quick service location has good food, the nachos were delicious. Eat All The Foods!
It's like the Disney Gods are trying to get me excited for my upcoming trip in Feb. First an email from Disney Destinations and now this video highlighting the resort we'll be staying at. Unfortunately, the tower was booked besides the suites, but I'm still excited to check this one out. First time this value resort gal is staying at a moderate. Excited that we have plenty of good food options right at our resort.

We stayed here in Feb 2020 and loved it! Definitely agree with the tip to take a ride share in the mornings. We took Minnie Vans which are pricier (especially now) but even with that added expense it was still far cheaper than any of the deluxe resorts.
Coronado Springs -- Great Resort!! We celebrated our anniversary in June of 2022 (& WDW honored our occasion by placing 50th anniversary banners EVERYWHERE we went!). There's TONS of "hidden Mickeys" everywhere in the Gran Destino Tower. We had a fine nice dinner at Toledo and also dined at Rix and El Mercado. Beautiful grounds, impressive architecture, & upscale rooms made for a great experience. Our only disappointment is that we didn't get the opportunity to dine at Three Bridges. The resort is very close to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. We'll definitely be going back to this resort.
Oh, y’all are making me miss Coronado! We had the lamb and scallops at Toledo, it was the BEST food. I was stunned bite after bite. We had the gran gin tonic, best huge cocktail in beat glass, and at 3 Bridges the wings, lamb, and smoked feta salad. I can’t stop thinking about all the food!
Although I love ALL videos from you guys, I think I will be MOST excited for Sangria University! This will be epic! I need more info on this, we will be there next month!! Getting so excited! As two adults we loved the luxury in the Destino Tower. Our room was gorgeous and smelled fantastic, Mmmmm scented. The bar and also Bridges restaurant were wonderful
I am so glad Molly picked the Lemon as her favorite flavor combo in the dessert. I fell in love with the combination of lemon and chocolate years ago in Europe and it’s just so hard to find in the States. I know Molly may not be *that kind* of influencer, but I’m hoping she can manifest more chocolate and lemon desserts at Disney and in the US at large. Great video, as always!
Loved this resort and tower!!! The vibe and decor is definitely my fav out of the resorts. Certainly would stay here again but my kids wouldn’t appreciate it at their young age. So maybe again when do an adult only trip. The espresso at the bar is dynamic and is a must try!
I don't know if you've been there before, but with Takumi Tei reopening, I would love to see Alan get some of their Japanese A5 wagyu. It was so good that it legit made me cry.
Love the Staycation tour and can't wait to see more of them..... BUT the mere thought of purposely setting a resort room temperature to 71° when I literally watched hotel hacks to be able to set those below 65° stuck me as hysterical (takes very little to amuse me).
The tower is beautiful! We stayed there right before Covid and were on the 12th floor. There was a 7 am fire alarm and we had to walk down all those flight's of stairs. That was the only downside. But the room was gorgeous and we loved the tower part of the resort!.

I know a lot of people complain about the busses here but we had a great experience with them. We never waited more than 5 mins and we were able to rope drop every park no issues
We stayed there two years ago - was very nice. Only problem is when the buses came back from the parks you have to be very vigilant because there are LOTS of stops within the Coronado resort and a few times we missed our stop and had to wait for the bus to go all around to all of the other stop.

Looove CRS and the decor of the tower is stunning. Such great vacay vibes here - my fave moderate! So glad the gin bar is back - their drinks are superb! These used to be $14 in the before times for ANY gin of your choice- a great value still at 16.50 for a well made drink 👏❤️🍸

Loved this resort and tower!!! The vibe and decor is definitely my fav out of the resorts. Certainly would stay here again but my kids wouldn’t appreciate it at their young age. So maybe again when do an adult only trip. The espresso at the bar is dynamic and is a must try!
I don't know if you've been there before, but with Takumi Tei reopening, I would love to see Alan get some of their Japanese A5 wagyu. It was so good that it legit made me cry.
Love the Staycation tour and can't wait to see more of them..... BUT the mere thought of purposely setting a resort room temperature to 71° when I literally watched hotel hacks to be able to set those below 65° stuck me as hysterical (takes very little to amuse me).
The tower is beautiful! We stayed there right before Covid and were on the 12th floor. There was a 7 am fire alarm and we had to walk down all those flight's of stairs. That was the only downside. But the room was gorgeous and we loved the tower part of the resort!.

I loved staying at Coronado Springs when I was at a conference last year! It's a really pretty resort. And I got the corn dip every day because it's so good! 🤤

Oh my gosh that tv is cool. I agree with Molly, I wish all the resorts have this kind of tv. Forget Disney Alexa; give me that kind of tv in my room.

I know a lot of people complain about the busses here but we had a great experience with them. We never waited more than 5 mins and we were able to rope drop every park no issues
Loved this resort! The smell in the lobby as you walk in is so good. 🙂
We stayed there two years ago - was very nice. Only problem is when the buses came back from the parks you have to be very vigilant because there are LOTS of stops within the Coronado resort and a few times we missed our stop and had to wait for the bus to go all around to all of the other stop.

My wife and I stayed here in May ‘22, also on the 9th floor. I think this hotel should be a new category of DVC - it’s so nice!!! 😊

Looove CRS and the decor of the tower is stunning. Such great vacay vibes here - my fave moderate! So glad the gin bar is back - their drinks are superb! These used to be $14 in the before times for ANY gin of your choice- a great value still at 16.50 for a well made drink 👏❤️🍸
I’d never heard of the short that inspired the tower! We watched it tonight and loved dissecting what we thought Dali was saying with his art- another wondering moment created by Mammoth Club fun facts !
