Does the speed magnet remove the regen braking? Will the speed magnet have any effect of you have an upgraded controller?
Thank you for the video and link. I purchased it and went from 12MPH top speed uphill, downhill, even flat surfaces it didnt matter, it was 12 tops to 20MPH on flat level roads, to 23 on slight downhill grades and 18-19 on uphill grades. WELL worth $20! I was amazed with the results and am strongly considering seatbelts for it now, lol. Don't know if my jump is so high due to also putting on Lithium Battery as well, but the 12 MPH was tested with the Lithium as well. Mine is a 2008 Club Car Prescedent.
I just did it on my 2021 club car tempo and it almost stutters a bit. When you get off and go again it seems to be OK but no speed increase. My wires are coming out of the top and not the bottom like yours. Idk if that makes a difference. Any ideas? I might just put the orginal back in.

what if i have a D&D hi speed motor...i dont want more speed, just less pressing on the accelerator pedal...im short and my leg is fully extended and sometimes only get 15...im wearing out a new mat because the pedal is always to the floor....how do i know what speed code is set on my 2010 club car precedent?
Hey quick question. Do you know if yours is the excel iq2 or the iq1? What ive read it doesn’t work with the iq2. SN starts with PH on mine

My 04 club car precedent speed sensor cover is a circle plastic cab vs the oval cover the replacement shows. Why is mine different?
I’m 220 lbs with stock CC with high speed magnet I get 22mph . To get more speed you need a lift and bigger tires.
I did that to my 2009 club car along with the speed code 4 and it was the worse $200 I have ever thrown away. It did not work, and my mechanic told me it wouldn't have however, I wanted to see what the forums and enthusiasts were saying that it did. I finally replaced the motor, and it got me to around 23mph strong. I'm glad it worked for u. It was a complete waste of my money in my case.
It’s there any cheap speed upgrade if your Precedent cart has a GE motor?
Just a word of caution. Just a little loctite on the bolt and do not over tighten, I have had a few break off in the motor. 1/4 Ratchet by hand is all you need.
Where would you get the front Cawl that you installed on the 2010?

I put this same thing on my golf cart 2 years ago it made it a little faster and I feel like a little more torque as well

Cheap speed! So what does that magnet actually do? Is it stronger or weaker than the original?
The magnet halves the standard pulse rate to the controller. This means the electronic limiter is effectively removed as the controller will never reach maximum RPM signal.
Will this work on a D&D 19mph motor? 002-0002 ?

As of the second ride this year on mine, she still gets up to top speed quick but then it drops speed down some. Never had any issue since I built it. Any ideas?
