  • Australian touring car legend Jim Richards returns to the wheel of the Nissan Skyline HR31 23 years after it took him to the Australian Touring Car Championship title.

    An RB20DET roaring through an open wastegate would have to be one of the best sounds in motorsport.

    Yeah, in Japan the HR31 GTS-R had a RB20DET. So it's a 2ltr Twin Cam straight 6 cylinder Turbo charged. The Aussie Skyline and Pintara were N/A

    The best thing about this HR31 is the engine sound. N/A is better in that respect until the turbo spools up and they sound the same.

    I agree, however the HR31 is Turbocharged.

    Damm, I didn't know that. Was it SOHC though?
