I remember telling him that if he were to leave before the championship game, please send help from above. All my life, I knew him as the kind of guy who always kept his promises. And as we all know it, we won the championship. Every once in a while I go back and watch this just for a happy laugh. RIP Grandpa, and Go Bucks! ❤
I still think the 2002 NC was my favorite. No Ohio team had won anything in years and god damn they pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Miami was riding one of the longest win streaks in history (33+ games) going in to that game. That was a game for the ages. Goal line stand to win it all.

Not only did Ohio State beat Alabama. They beat them up. I think the highlight of the year for me was Cardale Jones trucking that over-rated, slow Landon Collins. He wanted no part of a 6' 5", 250 lb. true hoss bearing down on him like a locomotive. Ohio State was superior to Alabama in every way, shape and form. They were faster, stronger, and more well-coached. Just like with the Oregon game, Alabama only stayed in it because of turnovers. Once the turnovers ended, it was a 28-0 blitz on that over-rated slow team. Gotta love it when your best defense against someone as fast as Devin Smith is to fall down and act like you tripped because he beat you by three yards. Suck it, Alabama fans. From an MSU fan - massive congratulations. Sure, I have a soft spot for Saban as I was there during his time in East Lansing, but I hate the way our conference gets put down in the rankings. I had a huge smile on my face from 1/1/15 (when we beat Baylor obviously!) to the National Championship game when it became clear which was the best conference this year!

I'm a buckeye fan living in the heart of Alabama for 28 years. When this game ended I felt a natural high that I've never experienced before. The Bama fans on this video are a true representation of 90 percent of Alabama fans. Very few humble Alabama fans to be found. The irony of this is Cardele Jones is a a very below average QB but the last 3 games of the season he was on fire. I give him credit for those 3 games because he was one of the most valuable players during that stretch.
This team and its memories live on and I'm glad I have a retreat spot after that UGA game. Other fans can criticize me for living in the past, but it's more fun than the current time of football and why I'm here. Of course I'm not gonna brag about it to anyone, but I enjoy that moment.

I really appreciate the class and respect that Nick Saban and Urban Meyer showed each other at the end of the game. One of the best wins and worst losses I could imagine.
