Good tut. But is it possible to replace just the outer front glass? I see they sell it, so im assuming its possible. My kids phones front is cracked but it still works. Rather spend $15, opposed to $60-$100 for the lcd kit. I actually purchased just the front glass so...im not sure if I should try.
@@markosgaming3232 i attempted to remove the glass only and wasnt prwpared for the hassle of it. Also didnt have the right tools. So the lcd wound up having to be repkaced
I have the same phone I slipped and my phone went sliding on the rough concrete. I wanted to know where did you get the screen replacement I would like to order one as well and follow your video to install it.
Thanks for this. You took it step by step in the most precise way. Question, where did you purchase the lcd from? I am looking to purchase one myself but don't want to get scammed.
Look this might be weird, but the iSesamo you have, it looks to be one of the original made versions that were produced in Italy. If you know about this and know that they have since remade these out of a cheaper metal, would you by chance know where to find the original white handled iSesamo? The original can be bent and it always returns to its original position and the whole tool itself is thinner, allowing getting into back glasses much easier. Also the handle does not fall off so easily.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Quick question…why do you need to remove the motherboard? Looks like you could just disconnect the screen right? Sorry if i am missing something.
Is the touch screen & the Digitizer the same part ? I cracked the touch screen so I need to know exactly what part I need to buy. Note... The phone is working perfectly & the Display is good too,, it's just that the damn screen is cracked all over. Thanks, Tony.

All you fools don't talk how hard it is to get that screen off without damaging that silver backing, that silver backing can easily be damaged trying to pluck that screen off. It easily cracks like a thin piece of glass. I don't know how you managed to pull it off without damaging the silver backing. If you damage that, you probably have to get a whole new lcd screen instead of just the glass. Thanks for your lack of detail.
This repair was a whole new lcd and glass install ... glass only installs are really tough to do since lcd is very thin and fragile u will most like break if not enough heat and waste time ... replace both and u can peel lcd like I did clean and install

The lcd is not displaying correctly, it tested fine before i assembled everything. now i get a lined screen thats mostly blue with 2 dead spots where it looks like the screen got pressed somehow
omg, in a slight rage i pressed really hard and punched my knuckles into the screen and it started working(almost lost my cool there. lol). there are still small white dots on the bottom of the screen. hopefully it's a reliable phone. i did this screen replacement for a work friend, and its a $50 screen+digitizer from ebay so being the cheapest option i questioned it. But it looks good now and touch works fine
Why didn’t you just order an entire new frame? That frame is bent to shit, and you’re using tape instead of actual manufacture glue…. I mean it’s good that you can take shit apart and fix things you have good potential but your half ass it, I’d be pissed if I were the customer because I’d be expecting it to be new again if I’m paying you to actually fix it.
