My Samsung Galaxy S10 got stolen at a skatepark last year... so I bought the Stylo 6 as a "temp phone" trying to get a cheap phone until I can get a quality phone. I realized aside from the low resolution camera it is AMAZING. I watch 1080 quality movies and it was better than my S10 in terms of battery life and felt 99 percent similar to using my S10. Sooo conclusion is bad camera...but amazing throughout.
I am a proud owner of an LG Stylo 6. I love the big 6.8" screen and the dual-firing speakers! The processor and the storage capacity are adequate. There is sufficient internal storage. The stylus is functional and useful. I have had no disappointments with this phone. I am disappointed that there will not be a Stylo 7; I think that the 7 would have been an upgraded 6. When it conks out, I guess that I will have to purchase a Moto G Stylus 2021. It has only the single bottom-firing speaker. Since I have fat fingers, the stylus is a necessity. I like the "pop-out" feature of the stylus as opposed to the "dig-out" feature.
Aside from the "dig out" stylus the 2020 Moto G Stylus is a better buy. Now that LG is gone Moto only offers one OS update, no dual speakers, and stripped away camera features.
@@TechDaily Actually, no. I have heard, I think twice, that LG said they will still support their phones for 3 years. And I doubt that repairs and replacements will end for awhile either. They probably still have plenty of back stock and they still make other electronics, after all.
@@TechDaily Oh and I'm fine with Android 10. I just want the security updates, which are still coming. I used my Stylo 4 for around 6 months after they stopped giving it security updates. They generally give security updates for their mid- range phones for about 2 years and possibly 3 for their flagships. My V60 just got upgraded to Android 11 a couple of months ago.
I purchased this phone in September of 2020 and absolutely dislike it. I have had every problem from not working properly to be hacked. I have all the protection I thought was necessary, guess I was wrong. The pen gut stuck and would not retrach. Told by carrier they no longer made this phone and handed me a dollar store envelope and basically said "good luck." Why did I have insurance!? I am still paying for something useless. Going back to my iPhone. Purchased phone only because I needed to see what I was looking at (69 years young). Great video and I sincerely appreciate your updates.

I had the Stylo 6 for about a year, & it was my favorite phone I've ever had. Packing all the classic abilities of an android, with the stylus & Stylo 6 specific applications made it the perfect phone. Not to mention the wireless charging capabilities. I'm thinking I'm going to buy it again. I upgraded, but I honestly prefer the Stylo 6. Plus, the Stylo 6 is still receiving updates as of November 2022
A year later...still getting security updates. You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that everybody and his brother was handing this thing out for free. I was one of the ones who got a free unit, and while I eventually replaced it with a Motorola, I kept the Stylus around as a backup. It was a decent midrange phone when it came out, especially at the price, and you could still do a lot worse two years later. The fact that new in box units are still going for $150 despite LG Mobile going belly-up says something about the quality.
I bought this phone when I lost my iPhone.. I gave it to my son I love it because of the size and memory.. giving it to my sister now.. it’s a great phone.. as long s it still works who cares

Just over a year ago the tone of your voice was so much different when talking about this phone and now because LG discontinued making cell phones you're going to talk as though this has been a dump piece of trash phone since the beginning? I got the stylo 6 right after it came out and i love this phone , I put on a cheap case and I dropped on hard floors at least 12 times or more 3 weeks ago I dropped on a concrete floor and cracked the screen it's still working it's like the old cars never stops ! Note 4 also was a great phone I had .
I love LG phones especially the LG Stylo 6 my favorite phone so far I wish someone else buys LG phone business and makes the LG Stylo 7 cuz I was sure waiting on that phone to come out coming out anymore😭
Still using the LG Stylo 4, way ahead of it's time back when it first released, and still a wonderful phone when compared to other budget phones of today, ignoring the lack of updates. Funny enough it was just today I found out they canceled the mobile line, which answers my months of questions dealing with the checkmark talking about updates. I'm considering the Galaxy A line of phones to upgrade to, though the lack of a major upgrade and a downgrade of the display from the Stylo 4, except for the updates, make me really question if it's worth upgrading, of course having to ignore the higher end A phones.
Don't switch to the 6, the 5 is pretty good but holy fuck that lg Stylo 6 is just a huge downgrade. I wish I would have never gotten this garbage. My galaxy 3 is 100 times better this this heaping pile of shit.
I use to work for t-mobile. I got tired of samsungs updates crashing their phones after 2yrs to force the consumers to upgrade their phone even after paying $700-$1000 dollars Samsung phones starts to glitch. Therefore I switched to LG. LG is very good. Only downside really is the internal hard-drive memory is low like at 4gigs and the camera and videos is ok. Whats also good is that the unwanted apps you can hide and also your photos folders can hide personal contents like pictures. Its good because you dont have to download an untrusted app from store the appstore that steals sensitive materials from your phone. Im so disappointed that LG discontinued their cell phone lineup. I've been using their midrange phones for years and no problems unlike the galaxy after 1yr use. They should really consider at least production on their midrange phones for those who cant afford the higher end galaxy and apple phones like foreal...ALOHA FROM THE LAND OF PARADISE OAHU HAWAII😎🤙
LG Stylo series are my all-time fav phones. I've had the 3, 4 and 5. Switched to Galaxy when my Stylo 5 battery started stuttering, but still use it for browsing, drawing and handwritten noting. No lag with the stylus, everrrr. The Stylo series is also way more easy to grip. The phones were short and wide, rather than long and narrow. The graphics aren't top-notch but still more than enough to do the job.
You don't want a Stylo 6, stick with 5. Trust me. I'm not kidding, search reddit about Stylo 6, I'm saving anyone who reads this money. It's awful, I wish I had at least my galaxy 3

I upgraded to the LG k92 5g after having this phone for around a year and quite frankly it is the best decision I've made. The performance is much better.
i bought it a couple years ago and it works just fine. it has been a bit slow lately but its fine. i bought it more so so the space. i always have a lot of pictures and apps.
ive been having the phone for a year and it is super laggy. it is my main complaint, but it is a big one. i am about to upgrade because i cant handle how bad it handles some apps. it is especially laggy in the camera app

The phone still works obviously but im super picky with technology. If it doesnt run correctly its gonna annoy me. Someone else might be fine with the phone but i kinda had enough. Everything takes forever to load on the phone and it likes to glitch on things like Snapchat. Snapchat is a pretty crapy app in itself tho
I had a stylo 6 for about 9 months and the typing glitches too much and drags down the notifications by itself every 3mins and you need to shut off the screen and turn back on got a new phone today because of it
Owned many different mid range smart phones in my life. So far this phone is the best. Use it primarily for communication and watching videos. Very sharp screen resolution and easy on the eyes. It is over a year old and I get about 12 hours on the battery with continual use. Recharges to 100 percent within an hour. It a shame there will be a demise of a terrific phone.
the screen is the important to me tbh, id love to buy another large screen phone in the future once i can no longer use my stylo 6. So thats the main reason i got the stylo 6
LG stylo 5 worked well with Android Auto so hoping 6 will too. Moto Stylus G crashed randomly with AA so often it caused distraction from driving so now must be replaced. The issue I believe to be causing crashes is that Android 10 now embeds AA in it's native O.S. instead of allowing it to be a standalone app like previous versions. 3.5mm headphone jack is important feature to me also. They all have planned obsolescence built-in truth be known regardless which you choose.
No no no no no, keep your Stylo 5. Stylo 6 is slower and waaaaay less inefficient. Stylo 6 cannot hold a single app open in the background without it crashing. Also the hardware is pretty much crap, about 90 or so percent of users report massive ghost touching all over the screen. My Stylo 6 is a complete piece of shit. The 5 though, pretty solid phone. I loved my Stylo 5 and wish I would have never broken it because I'm trapped with a phone worse than a galaxy 3
I'VE HAD MY LG STYLO 6 SINCE 2019. I DON'T USE THE STYLUS MUCH HOWEVER,I DO LIKE THE SCREEN SIZE FOR VIDEOS AND IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT WERE A LITTLE FASTER.

My old phone reset it's own pin, so I had to get a new one. I too was sold on the big screen, nice display and stylus. In the beginning it was a very solid phone. But as it aged, things got considerably worse. In general I have issues with every app I use. Freezing, unresponsiveness, extremely delayed inputs that often collect and are processed in mass groups. As a Door Dasher, sometimes I'm trying to run 3+ big apps at once (The DD app, Everlance to track my miles, and Spotify for music) my experience doing this is TERRIBLE. My experience trying to run the Door Dasher app ALONE is awful. The lag and instability is so bad, I find myself sitting in my car for 15 minutes trying to get my stupid phone to load the app so I can complete an order. A LOT of times I flat out miss accepting an order because it will simply not load. (I don't have very many, maybe 15 apps) It disconnects from most of my BT devices for ZERO reason, most times I use them. Idk if this is just me but, trying to type cramps my hands from trying to hold such a huge hunk of junk, and in general the size/weight of the phone I ended up just disliking. Sometimes when I lock my phone, it won't unlock with the side button unless I press it 4-5 times, nor will it register my fingerprint until I mash the side button so it shows my screen saver. The only redeeming quality's IMO are the decent battery life, decent sound, decent screen, and it's quite durable. I had mine stolen, and they chucked it against the ground (idk why, fuck me I guess?) Which shattered the whole glass back and messed up the 3.5 headphone jack, but everything worked as badly as it did before. I've hucked it a few times myself, and accidentally dropped it wayyyy farther than any phone should travel, and that ol' bitch started right up. Overrall I give the LG Stylo 6 a 2/5. I would never buy another one, and I curse myself everyday for paying $230 for it.
Currently have one and YES the lag gets worse the longer you have it imo And some apps have to be restarted nowadays; which is about as fun as it sounds so I understand.
May I recommend the LG V60? The biggest problem with Stylo 6 is low end Mediatek P35 chipset. No wonder you're having lag, this chipset is a JOKE in 2022. V60 has Snapdragon 865, it stomps the Stylo 6 in profromance, maybe look if you can get it for cheap? I even doordash a lot, and this phone is very fast while doordashing. It's stupid cheap in the US for one that works with your carrier and is just as durable. I also Bluetooth a lot and the it never fails me

@@howieewalt1322 The Galaxy S9 is a much better phone. My mum has a brand new galaxy A12 with the Heilo P35.... the same chipset in your Stylo 6, and she has very similar problems. She already has a new phone, it was that bad. The biggest difference is the Snapdragon 845 in the S9, and it's literally four times as powerful as the Stylo 6. For example, the p35 scores about 28k in AnTuTu for raw profromance power. Galaxy S9 is 100K. V60 (Snapdragon 865) is 180k.. just as an example how bad the Stylo 6 is. The LG V60 is basically a far more powerful Stylo 6 with a similar design. I've had it for almost a year and it's pretty solid, doesn't have the problems you mentioned, but it's the same design and size, and better durability. I recommend it as it's stupid cheap on ebay for what you get

Mine is awful, the more it update the worse it gets. It freezes a lot, screen sliding down without u touching it. Can't text while voicenotes are being played, can't pause vn. It's opening the wrong chats wen u select another be careful how u insert the s pen bcuz it will get stuck and can't get out but the top piece will be separated from the pen. Phone is heavy, screenshot wen I am trying to exit an app. Have to press the unlock button multi time to unlock the screen. Pic quality not so nice. Snap camera too zoomed to ur face, a little too big, doesn't fit in most phone bags. Too many bad things but the battery life is good and fast charge.
I loved this phone when i first got it and then they dropped out of the phone market. The double stereo, huge display, even an extra button for the assistant. I just dont want a discontinued phone and I wish they would have told me at my carrier before I bought it. There is lagging and multiple bugs that everyone on my family plan has so ots not just how good ive been takimg care of it. Ive been watiching your videos trying to decide on what to upgrade to. Is there any phone on the market that comes close to the audio quality and screen size?
I'm still using my Stylo 3 but not as my daily driver. Just to watch RUclips video or playing some music. BTW, how is the Samsung A02 going? Any software update that make it a better phone? I kind of interested to get one to replace my Stylo.

The same reason why everybody loves the note or loved the note is why people like the Stylo there's so much you can do with it if they would have kept the note with the headphone jack and expandable storage it would have been everybody's phone forever. Samsung lettuce down put the Stylo is a cute phone for the money
I like the older lg Stylo phones best. I started with their first LG Stylo phone and it was great. It lasted for like five years. Rarely ever glitched and I have accidentally dropped the phone quite a few times and the screen never cracked at all AND once I dropped the phone right as somebody backed their Toyota truck over the phone and I hollered to tell them to go back to get off my phone and it STILL did not crack or break. I also like it's version of the quickmemo+ best. Storage doesn't bother me much because I empty it to my computer anyway then delete it from my phone. That's still skating on thin ice not backing it up though.. The phone I have now (because my first LG Stylo finally retired) is the LG Stylo 5. It is a crap phone. It started glitching with it's lighting soon after I bought it. Cracked easily. Takes less of quality pictures than the older one and it's harder to make room for storage. I mean with my old phone you can delete an unwanted picture and take a new one to replace it. This phone you have to delete quite a few if it's full to take another one which makes no sense. And the SD card does not have easy access like the old LG Stylo phones. And I HATE how it has automatic text messages available! I have texting anxiety and the worst thing that started happening is that my phone has episodes where it starts ghost touching everything. Yeah.. it started randomly touching those automatic messages and stickers or even trying to send gifs, and ones I wouldn't use. I don't think the LG Stylo 6 would be any better. I don't even like the big screens. Great picture quality and all, but it barely fits into my pocket and sometimes may even fall out. I have to find pants pockets or a pocket in a smaller purse big enough for it. I am on the hunt for an older version of these. LG Stylo 1's are hard to find with gsm now though. Why do they have to take the good ones down?? I think the only good thing I can think of are the newer updated emojis it has.. more or less. Some can do without, but yet quite a few good ones. But the emojis you pick on the older lg may look slightly different on others cuz they have the newer styles. But that's just an overthinking individual with texting anxiety speaking. Still isn't worth it much to me.

Because they're cheap. But they start messing up within months. The keyboard will type more letters than you typed. The screen is unresponsive, the menus drop when you were not using them. It gets really hot when charging it. And my laptop cannot find the phone when I connect it to transfer files. It's trash. You will regret ever buying it.
I had to bend where the hole was because it was so stuck nothing was coming out- when I did that I was finally able to get a hold of it and of the sim card. I put it back and it's working perfectly.
Hey TechDaily...Still using a LG v20 here...Why? Because I can replace the battery! But, Im getting IMS stopped working error. Any suggestions? Tried the phone back end access and cannot find the IP info to change, as it doesnt have a IP in the list of things once you go into the menu. Its likely under some other menu within, but I think I tried all, even Engineering settings, and RAT, etc. Any help would be appreciated, as I have a couple of these models and would like to continue using them. Otherwise Im gonna get the Stylo! :-)
I have 2 and thr reason I bought it it was because of its size I love to play games and watch movies I've gotten used to having large phones an won't settle for less I can always find it i feel like I'll break other peoples phone when they hand them to me compared to mine lol but it runs great my first one was kind of glitchy but this one hasn't done that yet so I'm happy
The only complaint I ever had about LG phones is they don't seem to last very long when they are dropped. You have to get an otter box for them. I like LG. It sucks that they don't make phones anymore. My favorite one to date was the V60 Thin Q. The quad DAC was a great feature. It was their best work in my opinion.
I've had 2 stylos from different gens. Currently looking into my 3rd. I love saving money and having a brick that won't break. My 1st one broke but still called after I smashed it in an biking accident.
My advice for you: do *NOT* get the LG Stylo 6. Do *NOT,* avoid it like the plague. It's not a good device; I have one and have many problems as do others with the phone.

I brought a unlock one a few months ago and it perfect for my needs. I just can't complain for 100 dollars plus taxes. and I'm like you. Screw all these 1000 dollars phone. I think people forget some us do use a phone for just that a cell phone. I have a laptop, desk top, ps 4, Xbox one , Samsung camera, and a switch lite. the idea of my phone needing to be something more seems unnecessary to me as well. I expect after a while people will expect cell phones to cook our dinners twice a week too

I love my LG stylus 6 I love it so much I need to fix a screen I like when I'm ready to take pictures and it brings out the yellow ring and it picks up energy whatever for whatever surround around me❤❤❤❤

It's 2022, and I got my Stylo 6 in 2019 or maybe even 2020 while working. This phone is not worthy of buying because after a couple of years with this phone, it decides to no longer want to hold a charge when plugged into an outlet. So Do not be fooled by the hype and buy this phone. There are more choices for better phones out here to purchase. So that's my take on this.
i have had my stylo 6 for a year and ive had to replace it twice. it is complete garbage long term, after the first month performance drops the screen starts bugging out and its just all around slow and crappy. it will survive being dropped in disgusting water tho
Also I'd like to add that people are forgetting that this IS a budget phone, idk why everyone makes comparisons with more of the higher end phones when really it should be the moto stylus, obviously the Galaxy notes are gonna be better they are Luxury phones
LG could’ve been a competitor that did low budget friendly phones and grew into the mid- luxe phone price range all with a good camera, big screen, stylus, and a great marketing campaign for the middle age group ( wouldn’t recommend for younger people, they just buy apple). They even could’ve expanding into mobile gaming too. Ugh I wish I was on the creative team :(
I just bought this tonight on eBay for $99 open box after drowning my Moto G stylus recently in a pool. I just want a phone that works normally shows good videos and I can do the basics and I'm hoping this is it and I like the fact that it's almost 7 inches.

The phone has an awful processor for the price, it should have a snapdragon 6 series chip which is way better than that helio chip.

I got the stylo 6 right after it came out and i love this phone , I put on a cheap case and I dropped on hard floors at least 12 times or more 3 weeks ago I dropped on a concrete floor and cracked the screen it's still working it's like the old cars never stops ! Note 4 also was a great phone I had .
I preferred my note 4, I just couldn't deal with the battery issues
I love LG phones especially the LG Stylo 6 my favorite phone so far I wish someone else buys LG phone business and makes the LG Stylo 7 cuz I was sure waiting on that phone to come out coming out anymore😭
Still using the LG Stylo 4, way ahead of it's time back when it first released, and still a wonderful phone when compared to other budget phones of today, ignoring the lack of updates. Funny enough it was just today I found out they canceled the mobile line, which answers my months of questions dealing with the checkmark talking about updates.
I'm considering the Galaxy A line of phones to upgrade to, though the lack of a major upgrade and a downgrade of the display from the Stylo 4, except for the updates, make me really question if it's worth upgrading, of course having to ignore the higher end A phones.

I use to work for t-mobile. I got tired of samsungs updates crashing their phones after 2yrs to force the consumers to upgrade their phone even after paying $700-$1000 dollars Samsung phones starts to glitch. Therefore I switched to LG. LG is very good. Only downside really is the internal hard-drive memory is low like at 4gigs and the camera and videos is ok. Whats also good is that the unwanted apps you can hide and also your photos folders can hide personal contents like pictures. Its good because you dont have to download an untrusted app from store the appstore that steals sensitive materials from your phone. Im so disappointed that LG discontinued their cell phone lineup. I've been using their midrange phones for years and no problems unlike the galaxy after 1yr use. They should really consider at least production on their midrange phones for those who cant afford the higher end galaxy and apple phones like foreal...ALOHA FROM THE LAND OF PARADISE OAHU HAWAII😎🤙
LG Stylo series are my all-time fav phones. I've had the 3, 4 and 5. Switched to Galaxy when my Stylo 5 battery started stuttering, but still use it for browsing, drawing and handwritten noting. No lag with the stylus, everrrr. The Stylo series is also way more easy to grip. The phones were short and wide, rather than long and narrow. The graphics aren't top-notch but still more than enough to do the job.

I upgraded to the LG k92 5g after having this phone for around a year and quite frankly it is the best decision I've made. The performance is much better.

The phone still works obviously but im super picky with technology. If it doesnt run correctly its gonna annoy me. Someone else might be fine with the phone but i kinda had enough. Everything takes forever to load on the phone and it likes to glitch on things like Snapchat. Snapchat is a pretty crapy app in itself tho

I had a stylo 6 for about 9 months and the typing glitches too much and drags down the notifications by itself every 3mins and you need to shut off the screen and turn back on got a new phone today because of it

Owned many different mid range smart phones in my life. So far this phone is the best. Use it primarily for communication and watching videos. Very sharp screen resolution and easy on the eyes. It is over a year old and I get about 12 hours on the battery with continual use. Recharges to 100 percent within an hour. It a shame there will be a demise of a terrific phone.
the screen is the important to me tbh, id love to buy another large screen phone in the future once i can no longer use my stylo 6. So thats the main reason i got the stylo 6

LG stylo 5 worked well with Android Auto so hoping 6 will too. Moto Stylus G crashed randomly with AA so often it caused distraction from driving so now must be replaced. The issue I believe to be causing crashes is that Android 10 now embeds AA in it's native O.S. instead of allowing it to be a standalone app like previous versions. 3.5mm headphone jack is important feature to me also. They all have planned obsolescence built-in truth be known regardless which you choose.
No no no no no, keep your Stylo 5. Stylo 6 is slower and waaaaay less inefficient. Stylo 6 cannot hold a single app open in the background without it crashing. Also the hardware is pretty much crap, about 90 or so percent of users report massive ghost touching all over the screen. My Stylo 6 is a complete piece of shit. The 5 though, pretty solid phone. I loved my Stylo 5 and wish I would have never broken it because I'm trapped with a phone worse than a galaxy 3

My old phone reset it's own pin, so I had to get a new one.
I too was sold on the big screen, nice display and stylus. In the beginning it was a very solid phone.
But as it aged, things got considerably worse.
In general I have issues with every app I use. Freezing, unresponsiveness, extremely delayed inputs that often collect and are processed in mass groups. As a Door Dasher, sometimes I'm trying to run 3+ big apps at once (The DD app, Everlance to track my miles, and Spotify for music) my experience doing this is TERRIBLE. My experience trying to run the Door Dasher app ALONE is awful. The lag and instability is so bad, I find myself sitting in my car for 15 minutes trying to get my stupid phone to load the app so I can complete an order. A LOT of times I flat out miss accepting an order because it will simply not load. (I don't have very many, maybe 15 apps)
It disconnects from most of my BT devices for ZERO reason, most times I use them.
Idk if this is just me but, trying to type cramps my hands from trying to hold such a huge hunk of junk, and in general the size/weight of the phone I ended up just disliking.
Sometimes when I lock my phone, it won't unlock with the side button unless I press it 4-5 times, nor will it register my fingerprint until I mash the side button so it shows my screen saver.
The only redeeming quality's IMO are the decent battery life, decent sound, decent screen, and it's quite durable. I had mine stolen, and they chucked it against the ground (idk why, fuck me I guess?) Which shattered the whole glass back and messed up the 3.5 headphone jack, but everything worked as badly as it did before. I've hucked it a few times myself, and accidentally dropped it wayyyy farther than any phone should travel, and that ol' bitch started right up.
Overrall I give the LG Stylo 6 a 2/5. I would never buy another one, and I curse myself everyday for paying $230 for it.
Currently have one and YES the lag gets worse the longer you have it imo
And some apps have to be restarted nowadays; which is about as fun as it sounds so I understand.
May I recommend the LG V60?
The biggest problem with Stylo 6 is low end Mediatek P35 chipset. No wonder you're having lag, this chipset is a JOKE in 2022.
V60 has Snapdragon 865, it stomps the Stylo 6 in profromance, maybe look if you can get it for cheap? I even doordash a lot, and this phone is very fast while doordashing. It's stupid cheap in the US for one that works with your carrier and is just as durable. I also Bluetooth a lot and the it never fails me

I just inherited a brand new Galaxy S9, and it feels very slick. Eons better than the Stylo 6. I think I'll stick to it for a few months.
@@howieewalt1322 The Galaxy S9 is a much better phone. My mum has a brand new galaxy A12 with the Heilo P35.... the same chipset in your Stylo 6, and she has very similar problems. She already has a new phone, it was that bad. The biggest difference is the Snapdragon 845 in the S9, and it's literally four times as powerful as the Stylo 6.
For example, the p35 scores about 28k in AnTuTu for raw profromance power. Galaxy S9 is 100K. V60 (Snapdragon 865) is 180k.. just as an example how bad the Stylo 6 is.
The LG V60 is basically a far more powerful Stylo 6 with a similar design. I've had it for almost a year and it's pretty solid, doesn't have the problems you mentioned, but it's the same design and size, and better durability. I recommend it as it's stupid cheap on ebay for what you get

Mine is awful, the more it update the worse it gets. It freezes a lot, screen sliding down without u touching it. Can't text while voicenotes are being played, can't pause vn. It's opening the wrong chats wen u select another be careful how u insert the s pen bcuz it will get stuck and can't get out but the top piece will be separated from the pen. Phone is heavy, screenshot wen I am trying to exit an app. Have to press the unlock button multi time to unlock the screen. Pic quality not so nice. Snap camera too zoomed to ur face, a little too big, doesn't fit in most phone bags. Too many bad things but the battery life is good and fast charge.

My vision is pretty much shot, and I need large text. The large screen on my Stylo 6 is as good or better than any other phone I've tried.
I loved this phone when i first got it and then they dropped out of the phone market. The double stereo, huge display, even an extra button for the assistant. I just dont want a discontinued phone and I wish they would have told me at my carrier before I bought it. There is lagging and multiple bugs that everyone on my family plan has so ots not just how good ive been takimg care of it. Ive been watiching your videos trying to decide on what to upgrade to. Is there any phone on the market that comes close to the audio quality and screen size?
I'm still using my Stylo 3 but not as my daily driver. Just to watch RUclips video or playing some music.

The same reason why everybody loves the note or loved the note is why people like the Stylo there's so much you can do with it if they would have kept the note with the headphone jack and expandable storage it would have been everybody's phone forever. I like the older lg Stylo phones best. I started with their first LG Stylo phone and it was great. It lasted for like five years. Rarely ever glitched and I have accidentally dropped the phone quite a few times and the screen never cracked at all AND once I dropped the phone right as somebody backed their Toyota truck over the phone and I hollered to tell them to go back to get off my phone and it STILL did not crack or break. I also like it's version of the quickmemo+ best. Storage doesn't bother me much because I empty it to my computer anyway then delete it from my phone. That's still skating on thin ice not backing it up though..
The phone I have now (because my first LG Stylo finally retired) is the LG Stylo 5. It is a crap phone. It started glitching with it's lighting soon after I bought it. Cracked easily. Takes less of quality pictures than the older one and it's harder to make room for storage. I mean with my old phone you can delete an unwanted picture and take a new one to replace it. This phone you have to delete quite a few if it's full to take another one which makes no sense. And the SD card does not have easy access like the old LG Stylo phones.
And I HATE how it has automatic text messages available! I have texting anxiety and the worst thing that started happening is that my phone has episodes where it starts ghost touching everything. Yeah.. it started randomly touching those automatic messages and stickers or even trying to send gifs, and ones I wouldn't use. I don't think the LG Stylo 6 would be any better. I don't even like the big screens. Great picture quality and all, but it barely fits into my pocket and sometimes may even fall out. I have to find pants pockets or a pocket in a smaller purse big enough for it. I am on the hunt for an older version of these. LG Stylo 1's are hard to find with gsm now though. Why do they have to take the good ones down??
I think the only good thing I can think of are the newer updated emojis it has.. more or less. Some can do without, but yet quite a few good ones. But the emojis you pick on the older lg may look slightly different on others cuz they have the newer styles. But that's just an overthinking individual with texting anxiety speaking. Still isn't worth it much to me.

Because they're cheap. But they start messing up within months. The keyboard will type more letters than you typed. The screen is unresponsive, the menus drop when you were not using them. It gets really hot when charging it. And my laptop cannot find the phone when I connect it to transfer files. It's trash. You will regret ever buying it.

I had to bend where the hole was because it was so stuck nothing was coming out- when I did that I was finally able to get a hold of it and of the sim card. I put it back and it's working perfectly.

Hey TechDaily...Still using a LG v20 here...Why? Because I can replace the battery! But, Im getting IMS stopped working error. Any suggestions? Tried the phone back end access and cannot find the IP info to change, as it doesnt have a IP in the list of things once you go into the menu. Its likely under some other menu within, but I think I tried all, even Engineering settings, and RAT, etc. Any help would be appreciated, as I have a couple of these models and would like to continue using them. Otherwise Im gonna get the Stylo! :-)
I have 2 and thr reason I bought it it was because of its size I love to play games and watch movies I've gotten used to having large phones an won't settle for less I can always find it i feel like I'll break other peoples phone when they hand them to me compared to mine lol but it runs great my first one was kind of glitchy but this one hasn't done that yet so I'm happy
The only complaint I ever had about LG phones is they don't seem to last very long when they are dropped. You have to get an otter box for them. I like LG. It sucks that they don't make phones anymore. My favorite one to date was the V60 Thin Q. The quad DAC was a great feature. It was their best work in my opinion.

I've had 2 stylos from different gens. Currently looking into my 3rd. I love saving money and having a brick that won't break. My 1st one broke but still called after I smashed it in an biking accident.
My advice for you: do *NOT* get the LG Stylo 6. Do *NOT,* avoid it like the plague. It's not a good device; I have one and have many problems as do others with the phone.

I brought a unlock one a few months ago and it perfect for my needs. I just can't complain for 100 dollars plus taxes. and I'm like you. Screw all these 1000 dollars phone. I think people forget some us do use a phone for just that a cell phone. I have a laptop, desk top, ps 4, Xbox one , Samsung camera, and a switch lite. the idea of my phone needing to be something more seems unnecessary to me as well. I expect after a while people will expect cell phones to cook our dinners twice a week too

It's 2022, and I got my Stylo 6 in 2019 or maybe even 2020 while working. This phone is not worthy of buying because after a couple of years with this phone, it decides to no longer want to hold a charge when plugged into an outlet. So Do not be fooled by the hype and buy this phone. There are more choices for better phones out here to purchase. So that's my take on this.
i have had my stylo 6 for a year and ive had to replace it twice. it is complete garbage long term, after the first month performance drops the screen starts bugging out and its just all around slow and crappy. it will survive being dropped in disgusting water tho

Stylo 6 could have been a good midranger if it had 4 GB of RAM and a SD 662, and more setting on the main camera.
LG could’ve been a competitor that did low budget friendly phones and grew into the mid- luxe phone price range all with a good camera, big screen, stylus, and a great marketing campaign for the middle age group ( wouldn’t recommend for younger people, they just buy apple). They even could’ve expanding into mobile gaming too. Ugh I wish I was on the creative team :(

I just bought this tonight on eBay for $99 open box after drowning my Moto G stylus recently in a pool. I just want a phone that works normally shows good videos and I can do the basics and I'm hoping this is it and I like the fact that it's almost 7 inches.
