I had the Stylo 4 then upgraded to the 5. I'm ready for something new. Ordered the 6 earlier for $145. I'm hoping it is faster than the 5 but even if it's the same, I'm happy. I didn't have many problems with the speed of the 5.

I held my 6 next to my 5 and the screens were almost identical in brightness. I didn't notice much of anything. Also, the speakers are WAY louder. Huge improvement. Also loaded with features. Best $140 I've ever spent hands down.
all my phones allow me to move apps to my SD card....I mostly use unlocked Chinese phones....reason being you get a lot more phone for the money....this LG phone is way overpriced at over $ 200.00 …..with those specs and thinking more like $150.00 or less......
It's not a bad phone but I would look at some of the Chinese phone if your att or t mobile network. I have the redmi note 7 right now im looking at a new phone at the end of the year. The redmi note 9s is around 220 and is a much better phone in everyway.
Watchin this on my Motorola e5 Plus I'm definitely upgrading to the LG Stylo 6 and it's gonna be a huge upgrade for me and oh yeah the LG Stylo 6 looks amazing ❤❤❤
I would say if your getting it with a discount like 150 then it's not bad but you should take a quick look at some unlocked phone around the 200-300 price range.
agree because at over $ 200 this is not a good buy with those specs....there's a lot of good phones out right now, in that price range....this will not compete.....LG is a dead company in this price range....
For everyone considering phones like this it would make far more sense for you to just go to eBay and get something like the LG v40. It would cost about 150 to 200 dollars at this point and has specs that can pretty much almost compete with even today's top devices. so getting these budget devices for or even 150 makes no sense when you can get what was Flagship devices just a couple of years ago for the same price nearly. And those phones outperform this phone tenfold. cameras... storage... display.... everything.
Love your channel. Got my Stylo 6 today. Noticed lag ASAP compared to my LG V60 and 23GB of memory already used for Android software. A bit bummed, but it's a midrange phone so I knew what I was buying.
Dude...i had Stylo 3 and went to Stylo 5...it was a WORLD of difference, Stylo 3 felt like i could break it so easily while the 5 was a MAJOR improvement in build quality, not to mention its performance was day an night difference in comparison to the S3.
Would've been cool if LG would've optimized the Stylo 6's software better. The Samsung A21 has the same exact processor but runs much smoother in everyday use from what reviewers say. I hope LG can improve its performance with the next software update. Their July 2020 update didn't address that issue at all imo.
Thats sort of a major upgrade with this tho is that it has 64gb now instead of the 32gb, still doesnt compare to flagships but comparing other budget phones to the stylo 6 this is probably the way to g.
I went to California from Texas then to Chicago with three prepay phones Cricket (my phone), Metro by T-Mobile(wife) and Boost (friend). All LG STYLO 5s. Boost was by far the spottiest. Metro had their spots but it was by far most available and fastest in most areas. Only Metro works in the whole state of Wyoming albeit spotty. Cricket had NO signal for like 400 miles there and Boost only worked in towns. But shell Boost was fast but really spotty how ever it was faster than Metro and Cricket but Metro rarely lost service. Cricket was totally trash. I was pissed (because it was my phone) slow and spotty. I feel AT&T needs to update the Cricket network like T-Mobile and Metro witch is really good. Cricket is half what it should be off they fixed this issue then Cricket would be unstoppable in the prepay market.
Hey do you know if the new stylo 6 has wireless charging by chance? I know all the old ones don't but just thought I'd ask since I was interested in the 6 but wireless charging is one factor im interested in while upgrading my device.
I have the stylo 6 and for me, the lag with the pen seems to be with quick memo only. I downloaded penup for coloring and theres no lag. Lag from the pen doesnt make sense since its just a stylus
agree....LG has been asleep for about 3 yrs in this price range....too many heavy hitters in the $200-$300 price range....they should of priced this at about $150 then its a better buy.....
the things that are better on the 6 with the battery, bluetooth 5.0 and new version of android seem nice. But is the phone really overall better than the5? The brightness is a big downer. The phone seem too long. No home buttos. app drawer? But do you have duel window? double tap to wake up? red light indicator when you have a message? pop out video in the images app?
For all you folks commenting don't get the stylo 6 trust me i have it it's a horrible phone it is actually a step down from the stylo 5 when it should be better.

It needed a better processer. The only upgrade is the bigger screen and stereo speakers. Cameras aren't great, the front it a little better. If it would go on sale might be an ok phone. But seeing the unlocked one for $300 on B&H is a rip-off.
Ok very good I like Stylo 4 and 5. Very good! Yay! So smooth. Delicious. Nice big screen. Nothing too fancy for no reason. Great city phone. Easy controls for older people. Takes a lot of drops and falls.

Where in Nov now & it's still $219 on boostmobile BUT if you go into Wal-Mart you can get it for $159. All i had to do was drive 2 blocks further to get it cheaper lol so it was worth it.
Does the stylo 6 have a front little red light that alerts you if you have a message or email? I have the stylo 3 still and want to upgrade but I'd really like to keep that light alert.
I think they have a lot of small upgrades that is worth because they are pricing it about the same since the Stylo 4-3. Less bezzel, dual speaker, 3 lenses, a bit better processor in theory (though I prefer Qualcomm), larger display with higher pixel density, more storage and it'll be upgraded to android 11 which should give it a boost in performance and a nice different design (comparing from the Stylo 5 to 6). $219 is right, I dunno about $270. But if you get it for $140-160 with all discounts, it's a steal.

I have the 5 and Moto G stylus. The 5 has a gorgeous display and I prefer the 6.2 screen. Looks wide. The speakers on the G are excellent while 5 has junk speakers.
Honestly the a71 is way better I think I’ll get that instead the only thing it really has going is the stylus which isn’t that Big of a deal. Thanks for the good review
With the Stylo 6 you said you can't load aps to your sims card. What can you add to it? I'm looking for a phone with loading aps to the sims or just more room to store things so it doesn't stop the phone from working because it's full. I am thinking Samsung Galaxy A51. Any ideas?
i have the lg stylo 5 now and it sucks because i'm trying to find a phone with a good camera to make youtube videos and to start a channel on youtube the one on the lg stylo 5 is not good for some reason it has this like staticky look to it on the video in the camera like you can see like these little moving around on the camera and it makes the videos look bad and blurry if you get what i am saying/meaning so yeah i need help in trying to find a new phone with a better camera to make videos and not one that is to much money so can anyone help me

I bought it and I am quite happy with it so far but I highly recommend getting some type of case that is grippy. I had to go a few days without a case and this is one of the most slippery dang phones I have ever had. It is thin and slick and as mentioned in your video it's size makes it a bit unyieldy? Lol

seems like LG dropped the ball again....no phone should come out with no less then 4 gigs of ram....they are trying to sell this phone for a little over $200.00....there's unlocked phones with the same processor, 4 gigs of ram, 128 gigs rom, and 5000 mili battery....going for $150.00 or less....running android 10 stock version.....so why should I buy this phone again....if you must have a stylus....get a Samsung Note 9 for a little more...but you'll be getting a lot compared to this …..LG should be ashamed of themselves.....
No its not worth the upgrade. They sacrificed performance for looks for the price. Its very slow. I overpaid for mine. Not happy with it at all. But im stuck with it for now.

I had the stylo 5 and my bestfriend had the stylo 6. His stylo 6 started acting up and so he upgraded to an iPhone 7, later i also upgraded to an iPhone 6s which is my current phone, now he has a samsung s23 and im also getting a samsung because iPhones battery life is atrocious. Overall both those phones are trash and slow. I don’t recommend them
3:14-3:17: "I personally don't like it at all but it's there if you like it." Well it's preferential and a very subjective topic but to some people (myself included) it does look appealing to have a bezel on the top where you can still utilise the portion of the screen to make room for the clock, the carrier signal, wifi, battery status etc. instead of just blatantly making it look like a black bezel (which if you think about it is not really bad) given the design of the phone is a bit obtrusive when you're watching content in landscape. Stylo5 looks better in terms of aesthetics just not with the smaller screen (maybe with some people with smaller hands it'd be the perfect phone but just like as you don't prefer hiding the notch I too don't prefer phones smaller than 6"). If we're gonna talk about which is more ideal between notch, #dotch (hole punch camera) or a traditional black bezel... I would choose the BEZEL not only because it gives symmetry on the display while you are watching contents online on landscape but it's because it looks less of an eyesore compare to a #Dotch or a #Notch. I do it on my Note10+ cuz simply the #Dotch bothers me a lot.
Notches imo ruin the experience overall. Like who wants a big black camera intruding when your watching videos. I'll give Samsung credit for adding a display cutout hiding option that actually works well
Stylo 5 has a beautiful bright display. I actually like the 6.2 over the bigger screens. So many are too narrow and tall. The wider 6.2 is easy on the eyes for reading.

I think the reason why the screen doesn't get very bright is to prolong battery life. That big display uses a lot of power

both have 3gb ram, both are oct core with only .4 ghz different clock speed. Both have 13 mega pixle camera. Not really enough for me to upgrade

How well does the Stylo 6 video record about 2-3 hundred feet away....The stylo 5 is not great at all in this area.
Don't expect much from budget phones you're honestly better off getting a Samsung a series

With the Stylo 6 you said you can't load aps to your sims card. What can you add to it? I'm looking for a phone with loading aps to the sims or just more room to store things so it doesn't stop the phone from working because it's full. I am thinking Samsung Galaxy A51. Any ideas?

i have the lg stylo 5 now and it sucks because i'm trying to find a phone with a good camera to make youtube videos and to start a channel on youtube the one on the lg stylo 5 is not good for some reason it has this like staticky look to it on the video in the camera like you can see like these little moving around on the camera and it makes the videos look bad and blurry if you get what i am saying/meaning so yeah i need help in trying to find a new phone with a better camera to make videos and not one that is to much money so can anyone help me
Can it be rooted? Can the bootloader be unlocked?
I do have a question bcuz I'm not all that knowledgeable with all the "tech talk". Is it a smarty butif i do pretty much all my stuff on my phone? I don't do any games (at all) cuz i do my banking, pay all my bills, do all my shopping, paystubs from job/w2, taxes etc...pretty much all my life things that seem to ALL require me to download an app for it. So i have lots of apps, is the stylo 6 atleast better for that then the 5?
Stylo 6 is nice but I think the Specs shoild have been better.
I am seriously considering switching to the Stylo 6 now.

2 speakers... Im halfway sold... I just need to know if it has custom sound settings for music... And if it has the lock screen lock for the memos... My daughters love drawing in my Stylo 5.. But its perfect because i can lock the memos screen so that they dont open up facebook or any of my important business messages or emails !

I bought it and I am quite happy with it so far but I highly recommend getting some type of case that is grippy. I had to go a few days without a case and this is one of the most slippery dang phones I have ever had. It is thin and slick and as mentioned in your video it's size makes it a bit unyieldy? Lol

seems like LG dropped the ball again....no phone should come out with no less then 4 gigs of ram....they are trying to sell this phone for a little over $200.00....there's unlocked phones with the same processor, 4 gigs of ram, 128 gigs rom, and 5000 mili battery....going for $150.00 or less....running android 10 stock version.....so why should I buy this phone again....if you must have a stylus....get a Samsung Note 9 for a little more...but you'll be getting a lot compared to this …..LG should be ashamed of themselves.....
Metro by t mobile usually has the better version of stylos, the display is different than boost display...
No its not worth the upgrade. They sacrificed performance for looks for the price. Its very slow. I overpaid for mine. Not happy with it at all. But im stuck with it for now.

Trust me the phone is really premium budget or not I've had it for a few day's sadly screen is a bit dimmer than the stylo 5 when doing a side by side comparison

I had the stylo 5 and my bestfriend had the stylo 6. His stylo 6 started acting up and so he upgraded to an iPhone 7, later i also upgraded to an iPhone 6s which is my current phone, now he has a samsung s23 and im also getting a samsung because iPhones battery life is atrocious. Overall both those phones are trash and slow. I don’t recommend them
I just shattered my stylo 5 phone i got december 26th of last yr and me and my hubby getting our stylo 6 phones soon
3:14-3:17: "I personally don't like it at all but it's there if you like it." Well it's preferential and a very subjective topic but to some people (myself included) it does look appealing to have a bezel on the top where you can still utilise the portion of the screen to make room for the clock, the carrier signal, wifi, battery status etc. instead of just blatantly making it look like a black bezel (which if you think about it is not really bad) given the design of the phone is a bit obtrusive when you're watching content in landscape. Stylo5 looks better in terms of aesthetics just not with the smaller screen (maybe with some people with smaller hands it'd be the perfect phone but just like as you don't prefer hiding the notch I too don't prefer phones smaller than 6").
If we're gonna talk about which is more ideal between notch, #dotch (hole punch camera) or a traditional black bezel... I would choose the BEZEL not only because it gives symmetry on the display while you are watching contents online on landscape but it's because it looks less of an eyesore compare to a #Dotch or a #Notch. I do it on my Note10+ cuz simply the #Dotch bothers me a lot.
Notches imo ruin the experience overall. Like who wants a big black camera intruding when your watching videos. I'll give Samsung credit for adding a display cutout hiding option that actually works well
Stylo 5 has a beautiful bright display. I actually like the 6.2 over the bigger screens. So many are too narrow and tall. The wider 6.2 is easy on the eyes for reading.
