K51 all the way! Performance and battery life is better on K51 vs. Stylo 6 due to 720P screen. Dual stereo speakers for $89 is a crazy deal! Very loud speakers, phone calls are great with VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling.

had a stylo some months back- loved some aspects, never thought the novelty was worth nit functioning without the thing; tried the iphone 7 and was completely miserable for five days straight; the K51 is a dream come to life: the pic is dark, but indoors, that's negligable and the sound is very tweakable and really does live up to the hype. Day 3, I couldn't b more pleased! Your reviews are a great service, duder- thank you!

I heard the K 51 performs smoother than the Stylo for some reason even though it's cheaper.
a device with a bigger resolution as well as screen size is sure to demand more processing than a device with a lower res and smaller screen
The LGK51 is really much snappier then the Stylo. My wife has it and I traded with her. She prefers the larger screen of the Stylo, I prefer the faster performance. I think One more gig of ram would have made a difference for the Stylo.
If you are thinking about buying the k 51 remember me myself has a lg stylo 6 witch does lag and stuff but remember it will probably have a update to fix that

I have the LG k 51 and I love it. At first I was sold and determined to get the Stylo 6 but I found out the k 51 is so amazing. I love everything about the phone I have had it roughly a week and I wouldn't trade it. But if you want the stylus I would recommend the Stylo but if you are looking for something just like the Stylo but cheaper the k 51 is great

For everyone considering phones like this it would make far more sense for you to just go to eBay and get something like the LG v40. It would cost about 150 to 200 dollars at this point and has specs that can pretty much almost compete with even today's top devices. so getting these budget devices for or even 150 makes no sense when you can get what was Flagship devices just a couple of years ago for the same price nearly. And those phones outperform this phone tenfold. cameras... storage... display.... everything.
V40 Specs are Snapdragon 845, 12MP camera that records 2k 60fps, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal with expandable, OLED display, super small bezels and it is currently going on eBay for about 145 from many trustworthy sources that even I purchase from. for god sakes. the LG v60 has ALL current specs such as 4k60fps, 128GB storage, snapdragon 865 etc and is only 400 bucks on eBay. You folks need to shop WAY smarter than this.
I luv my k51 wouldnt trade it for anything....Its a super upgrade for me since i just lost my stylo 2 which was still in brand new condition just went out on me.....but k51 is for me. Thanks
Try a motorola. G fast is around 200, power is 250, and stylus (my phone) is 300. They are really great phones and are almost stock android with a few extra features like moto actions.

I agree that the K51 is a better bang for your buck. In this price range, it has very similar specs to the Stylo 6 but it's cheaper. I would go for it too if I am in the market for a budget phone... It does everything it needs to and that's what matters

Technically speaking, Lg k51 and stylo 6 are practically the same exact phones except 1 has a stylus ,bigger screen and storage and higher resolution than the k51
I just purchased one of each from metro by TMobile. My daughter will be using the k51 and I will be using the Stylo6. I'll come back to mention our personal reviews of the phones. Again they are budget priced phones and I did get both for well under 200 together. Which was a good selling point as I was looking at the motor g phones and the AMOLED displayed more ram competition but pricing ultimately won me over.
I have the Stylo 6 and I’m not impressed. The Stylo is a slough and it glitches too much. LG dropped the ball with the chip set.

It has low 3 GIGs of RAM. That's not enough for modern phones.

Forgot one detail to mention in regards of the sound. The K51 has X3D Surround Sound and the LGStylo 6 Doesn't. That is the reason i own a K51

Purchased both phones. The 6 for my daughter and the K for myself. We love them.
I just bought the LG K51 2 days ago and it preforms really nice and battery lasts all day. LG Stylo 6 uses more memory and battery to power larger screen so I'm glad with my choice😄 but the design of the Stylo is nice I give LG props on that aspect

I have the k51 I dont like getting blurry pictures so Im upgrading to the stylo 6
They're both kinda the same with the camera tho, and you're maybe getting blurry pictures because of you're lighting that is around you at the time, if not then you have to get your phone checked out or something.
I have the lg Aristo 2 and I've had it for almost 4 years and it's basically exactly how it was when I took it out of the box aside from the battery exploding and its age. My mom got an lg stylo 6 the other day bc she had a lg stylo 1 for about 6 yrs and she blurted that she was getting me the stylo 6 for Christmas and I honestly didn't know the first thing about it and I had been looking at the k51 so this helps me out alot ty
Not a stylo type of person so I would take the phone that I do have and that is the K51. I really love it and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Not a fan of Samsung's A series and for good reason, had them and got rid of them and no longer trying different models. Happy to see LG offer this good phone for such a great price.
Hey, Do you recommend getting the Galaxy A71 or the iPhone SE 2. The A71 has more to offer but I am curious to see what IOS is like.
Between those two, I'd get the A71. I'd probably get the regular iPhone X is I'm going to spend $400 on an iPhone.

I have the note 10 plus and bought two days ago the LG K 51 for my second line. For a budget phone I think is a pretty good phone. Definitely is faster than the stylo thats for sure but I understand is a little smaller without stylo so that helps a lot to have better performance . For the money and what you getting is really good deal . It can handle a lot . If this phone had 4 gb of ram instead of 3 it would be the best of the best but still is real good .

As somebody with the samsung galaxy a715g I don't mind a in display fingerprint sensor but I use the face unlock most of the time but if it doesn't work I don't mind the fingerprint sensor outer fingerprint sensors are going to become more rare on phones as in display ones will become the norm but for those who still want one these 2 phones seem to be a good buy
Mr. Wade, would you say the K51 is brighter or about the same as Stylo 6? Also are the cameras about the same on both or is the Stylo 6 a bit better?
I’d actually say (with my phones) the K51 is a little brighter. I don’t know what happened with the Stylo 6, but it just seems so dim 😕 I noticed it right away when I compared it to the Stylo 5. And the rear cameras on the Stylo 6 are a little better in my experience, but I’m going to be putting them to the test a bit more tomorrow when I finally leave my house 😂

For around $200, its going to be the Stylo 6 at 6.8 inches. My next recommendation would be the Samsung Galaxy A11 👍🏻

I think if you want the most "features," you might just try getting last year's flagship - like an S10, or even an S9. You save a ton of money and really you're getting top of the line specs even for 2020. Better than a budget 2020 phone in my opinion. I have a few videos on the channel talking about the S9 and S10.

You need to keep up, and post or add an update, and tell folks. You're costing companies money.
Do these phone require headphones to hear sound from the ear jack OR does the sound come from both ends of the phone from two actual speakers. A video for the LG K61 suggested that you still need to wear headphones and that the phone doesn't play full sound without a pair. I thought the sound plays out of the phone like an actual speakerphone. Also, how do you rate the LG K51 (780 picture) and Android 9 vs the LG K61 (1080 picture) with Android 10. And last, the LG61 vs the LG Stylo 6? Thanks. I don't know which one to buy.

I like the look of that Stylo 6 a lot better. It reminds me of the Samsung Note 8 or 9 because of the look of the cameras on the back and the pop out stylus.

I just bought it and they take away 13 gigs from you for system storage right away that right there made it so I had to literally throw away my phone cuz they won't take it back and I have no storage I don't know if that's a normal thing the most I seen is 5/6 gigs they take from you so I don't recommend it I'm out in a hundred forty bucks

K51 seems faster. Can't beat the k51s price and permanence over the more expensive stylo 6. You choose free K51 or stylo for 200. Me, I'd rather keep the money and save on the K51.

The LG Stylo is not$100 better at this price point. Yet I preferred the screen on the Stylo.
Looks like I can pick the Stylo 6 off Cricket for 99 which is pretty nice.
I have the stylo 6 it has a few issues but its a decent phone for the price now compared to the lg k51 the stylo 6 is way better hands down it has a 1080p display vs the 720p washed out display on the k51 so stylo 6 takes the win here by a long shot thanks.
K51 outranks stylus, but I love the pen and don't really do gaming so its ok. I hate the speakers. Seems like i have to crank it. (But then i have been so used to my old flagship phone's sound)

If you choosing to buy a phone with more storage, the Stylo 6 will be a good choice. But if you wanna save some money, the K51 is the best choice. If I was to choose one, I will buy the Stylo 6 just for the storage and Stylus pen. But currently I have the K51 right now. 😉👌🏾

I prefer the notch style on the k51. The stylo 6 notch looks out of place with that chunky U look. I love the look of the stylo 6, hate the notch.
