March 12, 2024 | Edward B. Healton, MD, MPH, has been a trusted and highly regarded member of the Georgetown University community for nearly 25 years. Previously professor and chair of Georgetown’s Department of Neurology, he has led Georgetown University Medical Center since 2015 with a steady hand as executive vice president for health sciences and executive dean of the School of Medicine. Dr. Healton shared reflections from his decades-long career in medicine as a clinician and leader guided by his dedication to Jesuit values, especially social justice.
