Spooked Migrating Snow Geese

Connor and I were photographing a few thousand migrating snow geese east of Edmonton when something spooked them. They took off , flew a few laps and then landed again. I apologize for the video quality as I had simply put my camera on a bean bag on my window to capture some swimming geese. I was not ready for this. All in all though, it was quite thrilling.
It was interesting to watch as they took off from the back of the pond and rose as they came towards us. Then they landed the same way, starting at the back and moving forward. If only our rush hours were so well choreographed!
