The flakes of dried blood drifting down like rose petals while she stands with what I can only think to describe as a giant placenta-cloak draped asymmetrically across the obelisks is just something else... props to whichever artist imagined the scene.
If you are looking for similar cinematics to War Within I highly recommend "Battle for Azeroth: Varok Saurfang’s Mak’gora", the WoW channel put all the cinematics together and is about 20 minutes that flesh out more of the story and have great detail. Close to texture quality but great story telling and they are about 4 years old. War Within was next level! @@YorkReacts
That guy at 02:24 always reminds me of Beric Dondarrion from Game of Thrones 😄The 2 bandids were hired as bodyguards (the barbarian is a woman if you listen closely to her voice) to get into the temple and provide their blood (unknowingly) and Symon was a Scholar of that ancient chapel that leads to the Halls of Dark Portent, which housed the gateway to the Void, into which Lillith was banned over thousand years ago
Blizzard has allways been crazy at cinematics , id say that they are top 1-2 in the whole industry at that, even the wow cinematic from 2004 kinda still looks better than alot of game studios cinematics up to this day lol. They sure got some dope ass artists, they however also should get credits for sounds/voice acting, they have a super talanted team when it comes to sound and voice actors/actresses aswell . I love the voice of Sylvanas, Thrall, and Queen Azshara, blizzard will remain in my heart until i die, even if they had some fkups thrue the last years, i got no better early memories from my childhood when it comes to video games, than they brought me warcraft 3, WoW. Diablo 1-2 and Starcraft.
Yeah man I totally agree I was just working at Blur Studio for around the last 6 months and if you’ve seen their work holy moly their cutscenes and trailers ect are right up there with blizzard. I was so stoked and honored to join the team there and do some animation. Warcraft used to be a huge part of my life as well. I never really got into StarCraft though.
I can only speak for me, but i discovered u for the war within trailer and i was Instant a fan of ur channel! I play blizzard games for 20 years and even if ur videos are 30 min, i would love to watch them 😃
If you liked this one you will love the Inarius vs Lilith end of campaign cinematic, its crazy. If you haven't checked out the Starcraft ones either they are a must :).
please Inarius vs Lilith cinematic next! I can also highly recomment the Starcraft - Heart of the Swarm cinematics. Also, I would like to recomment the League of Legends seasonal cinematic 2022 "The Call".
@@TaldrenMGMoonGuard yeah usually it’s all hand keyed. Sometimes I watch these and I think there are a few sections of mocap or heavily edited mocap but it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t use any mocap ever! They have the skills to not use it.
Ok right on! I will def check that out. If you want I have a discord community and there is a channel where you can submit video ideas and videos you want me to react to ect. Let me know if you wanna join the discord and I can send you a link. Cheers!
Such an amazing trailer. Too bad the game sucks, full of microtransactions, and is one of the worst diablo games ever made. Blizzard is an amazing trailer company, but when it comes to gaming, they are at the bottom of the barrel. Sucks when they used to be the standard.
I am committed to just sticking with Immortal - transactions yes, but at least the story didnt infuriate me and feel like a dead end. They are about to add yet another zone/chapter in the next week or two. So Netease/blizzard is at least giving me motivation to keep improving there
Are you even talking about D4? The game isnt full of microtransactions, its only cosmetic stuff in the shop that you dont have to buy. Sadly those items are extremly overprized. As for the gameplay, it was certainly not perfect at launch and still isnt where it should be but its also not terrible. The campaign was actually great imo, the lategame just couldn't deliver yet. Wouldnt call it a bad game, just not polished enough to be great game.

Yeah so epic and creative of an idea. Creative director and designer of that character deserve a raise
Well, if you got this far, you need to check Inarius vs Lilith cinematic too. ;)
Ok yes!! Will do any other ones you think I should check out

I love the fact you can enter this summoning place in Diablo 4 as a sidequest.
Absolutely love the game.

Pro tip: Any door that requires a blood sacrifice to open, isn't worth opening.
hahah I know right NO THANK YOU lol never ends well.
"He's dead already" is said in the same cadence as Scotty in Wrath of Khan about Spock.

You should check out the War Within launch cinematic. The detail in that is unreal.
Lol, took me a minute before i realized that its not an actor Infront of a green screen 😂.
Wait isn’t that the one I just reacted to ? Or are you talking about a different cinematic ?
I know right!! One of the best 3D faces I think I’ve ever seen
def enjoyed that reaction... need to check out some more and see if you got any starcraft cinematics
Blizzard does not use mo-cap. That was all hand drawn. Blizzard cinematics are the best of the best!

Thanks
Hah I have no clue I left before they started GTA6 so I’m in the dark as much as you are lol 😂
That.Was.Epic.As.Fuck
Yeah seriously holy smokes
Blizzard can still make good cinematics. It's about the only good thing they make these days, but they do it very well.
Too bad the game didn't live up to the hype of the trailer.
Haha most games don’t to be honest. The trailers always look so amazing because it’s pre rendered ect
It lasted till the end of the game tho I enjoyed it
6:03 - That's a woman. :)

Sadly I agree. I bought it and wish I could get a refund.

Ahh that’s a bummer I’ve heard mixed reviews some people love it some people hate it lol and yeah a trailer is much different then an actual game.
Ohhh nooooo that’s no good lol
