Happy Holidays everyone, thanks for making this year so great! I can't wait to show you what I've got in store for next year, It's going to be absolutely insane, good things ahead, thank you for being part of it :)
With the camo pattern and the bit of snow on top, it makes me think the Terminator was hiding in a snow drift or something waiting for the enemy to come by. "Its perfect! They'll never expect us Terminators to be hiding!"
I got a full set plus a couple duplicates from a local guy a few years ago, now GW wants $110 to make it on whatever they call "on demand". Insanity. Looking forward to painting them up as a Death Watch team for Boarding Actions/Space Hulk.
I'm working on something similar! A group of 5 unique terminators, I'm working on their backstories. The models are completely kitbashed, and very unique!
So help me, I have NEVER been able to make painted on battle damage/weathering/chipping look any good at all! Not from lack of trying, either. You made this guy look awesome as usual, sir!
I had a lead pack of 6 terminators that i bought 20 years ago, never painted them but ended up moving house and some how lost them. Wish i still had them, i recon they be worth $400 now days.
Now that's a sweet camo, gives me an idea for a legionnaire I have already primed black for when I'm between projects. AK and ammo mig do good masking putty and they never dry out as a substitute for the silly putty.
it's a pretty pulled back gold lol, I didn't wash it with red, which is what I would have normally done. But yeah, it starts to lose the camo thing pretty quick after adding more color.
Before I even watch the video I've got to address the title. You can't do something on accident, otherwise it wouldn't be an accident, it would be done on purpose. You can do something by accident. And Merry Christmas to you as well.
Looks great! Reminds me of the "Dazzle" paint jobs that some WWII ships had. The Canadian Navy recently repainted HMCS Regina with a Dazzle paint scheme as a tribute. Go look it up - same colors as yours. Cheers and Merry Christmas! 🎄
That was my last video lol. But the STLs just dropped and I want to get them painted, so who knows...gotta find the right way to do it, but I'm stoked for the game!!
Thank you. I too loathe this error. I blame Barney the Dinosaur and other cutesy kids shows from the 80s and 90s for propagating this poor grammar. It seems especially prevalent amongst millennials who grew up forced to watch that crap. Americans get a lot of the blame but the rest of the Anglosphere has the infection as well. Also, as we do things on purpose it rather implies that something "on accident" _was at least not entirely an accident_
I am sure this works, but after you wipe it off isn't there oil left on the model? The jelly would give you insane control though so I can see the appeal, could be worth trying :)
@@eBayMiniatureRescues it worked well enough when i was in the navy and had to paint the inside of an aircraft carrier 4 times we would use it for our air mask to keep the paint off i have gotten into mini painting to help me relearn how to use my right hand but cars building and machine parts

Nice! The camo looks almost like he's running somewhere with lots of shadows, like an industrial hangar with visible beams.
You painted bravely, good Sir. Have an excellent feative season
I love it. Im a big fan of patterns and dazzle camo on marines. Reminds me of the Badab War
That’s a great pose! Always intimidating to see some movement in a terminator model.
Yeah the pose is great on this one, really cool with the claws.
BY accident...
A great looking paint job. If I ever wanted to paint up some Mantis Warriors, this is the technique I'd use.

Always enjoy the Space Hulk Rescues (Yes... Every terminator resuce is a Space Hulk Rescue!)

Looks like one of those old 1e alternate camo schemes that I think should make a come back.
This would look WICKED on some Rievers!

if i ever get around to fixing my airbrush im tempted to try this technique on my space sharks
That camo looks great, love the colors.
Really like this paint scheme

Have you tried sculpting in damage?
@@bad-people6510 Not yet, I have. How is that done?
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year - looking forward as always to 2025 Ebay Miniatures rescues
I love the paint scheme, it reminds me of Russian SU-27's, SU-33's, and the Japanese F-16 clone, Mitsubishi F-2.
Neat dazzle camo.🍻
Very Reminiscent of Clan Ghost Bear from Battletech / Mechwarrior. This scheme would look amazing on battlemechs.

I haven't tried the mig stuff, I will have to, thanks :)
Red is too bright for Space Wolves.
Proceeds with a golden aquila.
😂

What's up Casey? My name is Bear! Thanks for sharing your Terminator rescue.

This year instead of the customary chapter brawl, they decided to see who could hold a pose the longest instead.
Amazing 💪
Clan Ghost Bear! Wait… 😆
Love your videos man. Keep up the awesome work. Would love to see you do a custodes dread!
Tactical Tacky Putty!
Where did you get the audio in the beginning of the video? Kinda dope for a RUclips friendly generic song . Keep up the good work 🤙🏼
Oh no! Casey slipped, fell, and painted a terminator! For shame! 😂
Basically lol

Plz move the ads, it covered the closed caption the whole time.
I do not have control over ads, youtube puts those up, but, you should be able to "X" out of them after they appear.
Blkout please it’s a game I’m trying to get into but there are very few painting videos so I’d be nice if you gave it a try
That game looks cool. I never know what I'm gonna come across on ebay, I might end up finding some of that stuff :)
Would terminators need camo? They are usually dropped in from Orbit or teleport into the middle of the enemy.
Rule of Cool...if you're trying to have things make sense, 40K is going to give you a headache
@breandan3280 please dont um actually me.
@@malyxxplays7949your original comment was um actually-ing the paint scheme lmao
Fix the title please. It hurts my soul.
ah yes, the happy little accident
I'm starting to lose hope
Someday my friend, things will come back around :)

Ugh, sepps get this wrong all the time!

As an English man, I thank you.
As a non-native English speaker, I was really confused for a sec by “on accident” 😅
Nobody in the UK says on accident. It's always been seen as an American error here@@Del_S
instead of putty you can use petroleum jelly and take it off when you are done wipes rite off

It's not an airport, you don't have to announce your departure
