Before this gets tons of views, I’ll try to help some people from accidentally killing their hamster.
If there is any sign of chewing on the fabric of the sweater, remove it immediately. The fibers can cause digestion problems and possibly stop them from pooping.
For the pet safe adhesive, make sure it is WATER based. Hamster teeth grow forever and will chew on things to trim them.
Hamster balls aren’t a very good method of exercise because hamsters have very poor vison. Putting them in a ball that makes seeing things even worse is pretty self explanatory. They can easily run into walls and throw themselves around the balls if they’re going at fast speeds.

The Scenery I’m not a vet, but it is important to do research before getting a pet like I did. Some people get pets when they visit a pet shop without doing research and end up neglecting their pet. A pet is not a toy, it’s a living object that has feelings and needs. Simply do your research before getting a pet and it will benefit both you and your pet.

hamster balls are cruel because hamsters dont have great vision, they aren't allowed to stop for food or water unless taken out, and could escape if the lid falls off.

Do not! And I mean not buy a hamster ball for your pet, their nails can get snagged in the grooves and will rip them out, also it is very stressful for the pet because it can't get out of the ball. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like being stuck in a ball and neither would your hamster

I put my hamster in a ball but he tells me when he wants to come out. it's good to put them in there for at least 5 minuets

The Pet Place 14 risk it? it depends on the hamster. you don't know my hamster, he likes it. what is there to be worried about? the ventilation is decent, it is completely clear, and I'm very certain he can see through it. it gives them a chance to explore without bars limiting the space he owns...it is a risk if you put them in there for more than 10 minutes.
undercookedpotato 123 your hamster would prefer the freedom of a playpen or bath time (don’t bath your hamster a dry bath makes an excellent place for playtime) and the ventilation isn’t great. Completely unconnected what cage does your hamster have and how big is it?

Martina B Hamsters have really poor vision, and they rely mostly on their noses and on feeling around with their whiskers and feet. In a badly ventilated, small ball you take away two of their main ways to move around and know where they are. Also, the balls are dangerous for them, as their feet and whiskers can get stuck in the ventilation holes and they can fall down stairs etc. In a ball it's hard to control where you are going. (sorry for my bad english btw.)

I agree. A hamster can't say "I love it" but he can't say "I hate it" too. The hamster balls are only stress, they don't have fun. They run and can't stop good. When they crash with a chair they have stress also. The hamster balls are awful for hamsters.

I personally don’t use hamster balls as they can cause problems to their feet and cause stress, and for the sweater pouch, make sure your hamster doesn’t chew them, or they may accidentally swallow it. And make sure the glue is safe and non toxic, such as elements. Hope this helps!

I believe it is ok to use a hamster ball as long as you know how to use it. My hamster has a way of showing he wants to get in. Sometimes my hamster gets in his wheel and stops and looks around. However if he just wants to run in the wheel he keeps on running. I use a clear ball so he can see a bit better and for the wall banging I always add rolled up blackets to make somthing like a fence. I let him in the ball for at most 10 minutes and if he wants out earlier he starts to scratch and I take him out. His feet are to big to get stuck in the breathing holes. And justin case he trys to open the ball I put tape on the lid. I put him in the ball once a week.

A.R.M.Y Bangtan Sonyeondan they stop and look around if they hear a noise, or just to make sure they are safe. They will go into anything because they are curious animals. They don’t have good vision so they probs can’t see what it is very well. Hamster balls have horrible ventilation and their paws can get stuck in the holes, breaking there paws. They also can’t stop and can hit a wall very hard, and die. Get a play pen PEASE it’s 100x safer. Also, you can “like” dare I say, even though it doesn’t like it, well but like I said, you can “like” something even though it’s dangerous

Tonghua Gelin My winter white lived for 5+ years, while my other one died a couple of days after he turned 3, so they can live longer than 2 years and most dwarf Hamsters I've had died around 3-4 years old

Hamster balls are not very good for hamsters 😊 they do not have much ventilation, and it’s forcing your hamster into a tight space and it has to run against its will. Everything else looks great though!

Hamster balls aren’t safe for hamsters, they have bad eyesight and can bump into a wall hard and hurt your hamster. And if the ball bumps too hard on the wall, the lid might come off and your hamster can escape. Your hamster also cannot stop for food or water

Hamsters aren't something you just impulsively buy! You have to do ur research first :) Hamsters need at least 420 cubic inches of space to live comfortably, and tanks/bins that large can be quite pricey, along with food, water bottles, hideouts, vet checkups, bedding, chews, and such, hamsters can cost quite a bit of money to keep.

For all of you wondering why hamster balls are NOT SAFE it's because
:Their feet can get stuck in the ventilation hole
They do not have a choice to drink or eat while they're in it
And just because they get in the hamster ball doesn't mean they like it they get in it because they're curious

DO NOT USE HAMSTER BALLS !!!! They can make your hamster’s spin curve at an awkward angle and can cause back problems. They also have pore ventilation , the hamster can’t see out of them, the hamster can get there paws in the air holes and the list goes on. In conclusion, NEVER USE HAMSTER BALLS!!!!!!
