“Improved injection system” 😂
I love my glitter bombed injectors, they provide optimal power for towing... said no one ever
**CP4 and diesel exhaust fluid enters chat**
I'm happy with my lmm. 260k and still the most reliable vehicle I've ever had. Bought it with 215k. My dad's lml is pretty sweet tho. Mines deleted and tuned, his is stock and his still pulls heavy equipment better than mine
The only real benefit of a lml is the box frame. So it had more power, doesn't really matter because it has a cp4. And less emissions you're correct about, because it's killing the engine instead.
I have a 2012 lml deleted it’s a badass truck it cost around 4 grand to delete everything but well worth it
Im an LMM fan ....perfect for everyone...and taking people on joyrides in rosort areas
yeah no the lbz is better the lmm dpf ruined it
@@wsbkleegerI have a LBZ and love it, but wouldn't turn down a LMM either. So it has a DPF, big deal. At least it didn't have a CP4, DEF, and SCR
@@SupramanTRD from what i thought, a dpf uses def.. please correct me if im wrong i probably am.
also, i believe that the lmm is the first gen gm started using the dpf, and it has a lot of issues thats what i heard. I also used to have a lp5 and now have a lm2 and lbz
im definitely gonna sell my lm2 soon.
@@wsbkleeger I have an LMM, it does not use DEF, the DPF is just a filter on the exhaust to collect the soot, it’s definitely not the best for the engine but it doesn’t need anything on a fill up. Other than the DPF, the LMM is nearly identical to the LBZ design wise and a solid pick for a Duramax. 🤗
@@wsbkleeger I will say the LBZ is still the superior stock engine. However the LMMs came with the updated body style and interior which is a plus for me. 👍
What are your thoughts of the 4.5 LMK?
720 ft lbs not 765
LML is rated at 397 HP and 765 TQ. Not sure where you're getting 720 ft lbs from
Yeah and CP4s that do 15k worth of damage to the motor after only 100k miles.
That’s why they have a whole new fuel pump while ford and dodge still use cp4 😂
@@adenseay7406 Cummins only had the CP4.2 in 2019 and 2020
If you’ve got the money for a LML you’ve got the money to do a cp3 conversion. (3-4k) I’ve got over 200k on my cp4 and I’ll swap it around 300k. All about how you take care of the truck.
My truck is tuned & deleted tho. I would never drive w that emissions bullshit.
@williamthompson4000 do you have a lift pump?
Not putting a lift pump caused the biggest problem for the cp4 pump , and as usual GM knew people would buy them anyway so push them out the door .
As did Ford and Cummins. Difference is, Cummins and Duramax don't use them anymore. They also have the ability to be converted to a CP3. The Powerstroke can't and still uses the CP4 in their current engines
