The CTS 2 displays trouble codes, you could've pulled them right there inside the truck. Also, edge doesn't sell delete tuning, and hasn't since 2012. That truck has a custom calibration. Another giveaway would be the fact that it has compounds, and I'd be willing to bet larger injectors
Lmao when I heard that for 30k are you kidding me. That was a good deal. Those forces and wheels alone were worth. 3.5 to 4k and it’s hard to buy that whirly fab piping kit which is worth like 2K without a compound. secondly that edge CTS scans codes. Thirdly don’t ever try to manually shift a truck again I’m assuming with that much work done. He also has TCM tuning.
@@B-Man90 check engine came on cause of that edge tuner and his speed racer shifting in manual……not good….as nice as that truck is $30k tells me they are masking a major problem that needs immeadiate attention
It’d be a $40k pickup if not for those ghetto mirrors and wheels, along with all of those engine mods(that will quickly destroy that LML and Allison)…tuned LMLs break crank shafts and blow head gaskets, edge tuners destroy transmissions.
I promise you it has a blown headgasket….thats why the dealer didnt hook up the scanner (code reader). My buddy bought a brand new f-350 dually from ford, fully loaded with a blown headgasket brand new right off the lot from ford!!!!
I'm a dodge AND GM guy, not so much FORD. but what I will tell you about the LML Duramax is you need to watch head gaskets, make sure you get them studded, having a shop do them will be around 8 or 9 thousand dollars because it requires the cab to come off the truck. You also need to watch the CP4 pump in those, they are known to be catastrophic. That looks like it has a lift pump, so you should be okay. However just another thing to note. If you want a RELIABLE diesel, that can tow and haul and still look awesome, you should grab yourself a 3rd gen dodge with the 5.9 Cummins, I bought one, it pushes 35lbs of boost and is rated for 400k reliably and 600k if you care for them enough. Just gotta watch transmissions, but if you run it with a little tune and put billet shafts and a $100 shift kit in you'll be just fine! You get to pick your poison, 2010+ dodge, ford, and chevy/gmc are all gonna have more problems than the old reliable diesels, if you want something that is the best of both worlds, reliability and power and looks with a little hard work, you'll get the truck of your dreams.
@@bigjorge6362 2nd gen make sure it’s a 12 valve, the 24valve will crack the block, or go to a 3rd gen Cummins, the 24v common rail doesn’t crack the block
@@ThatGuyHyperz You're a little Ram bias. 24V doesn't crack the block. That was the 53 block only. Duramax engines are pretty good also. The problem is Ram trucks are absolute garbage. The only thing that makes them anything is the Cummins engine. Take that away and you just have a POS truck.
Lmm only anything newer is a ticking timebomb…….beautiful truck though…i have the SAME one but black on black LMM……pre diesel exhaust fluid issues and faulty lift pump b/s

Compound turbo, deleted, tuned, lifted, wheels…did know how man miles…but near a 100k that thing is a steal at 30k

I’ve never seen a diesel with dual tips
