"Love will always triumph hate" is their way of speaking out for Palestine, since they have been constantly censored. (Portugal also ended with "Peace will prevail", and her final act was actually censored because of her nails with the keffiyeh pattern).
Bambie was also extremely frustrated because of the harassment of the Israeli media (to which the EBU turned a blind eye) and said that they would use that anger to fuel their performance. I personally can really see that on the blue scream, so to me that makes it even more epic!

This was my winner pick of the night. I loved the finale performance much more than the semi final performance. The elongated screaming “blue” here was what I felt the semi final performance lacked. Also the annunciation was crisp and clear this time. Should have been at least top 3 but I guess it was still too alternative for the general audience 😢

Switzerland had an amazing performance along with a powerful message. Nemo along with greece Portugal and Ireland were willing to drop out of the final for joost… please don’t ever say nemo didn’t deserve that win. That’s the main reason why Bambie and Nemo became bsfs this eurovision along with iolanda and marina

Right, so, here's the long of it, because I saw both your reactions and you seem to really be caught by the song/performance XD
It's a feminist song. And a really clever and good one. Works like this:
The "black" persona of the singer, the "witch", the "goblin", is, let's say, "the sane one". She's true to herself, she's not pandering to anyone, she's got agency. She's not there to be liked, not there to be pretty, she's there in order to do something. She's a "witch", and that basically means "a wise woman". The feathers in her costume are meant to evoke ravens. Those have been a traditional north european symbol of wisdom, for a lot of cultures, Kelts obviously, but also Germanics. The Scandinavian chief god, Odin is associated with them, and Odin was basically Gandalf from LotR. Since Christianity doesn't have female priests, the closest way you can think of her is that she is... A nun.
So, anyhow, "the smart lady" starts out by saying she wants to destroy something, and seems to wish someone to lose "all the pretties in their bed, and all the things the wish they had", and then screams at someone that "they're living a lie". And that someone **is** a man the song writer was/is in a "bad romance" with, but... it's also the **audience**. The Witch is trying to tell you, the audience, a harsh truth, and the extra harsh screaming is meant to put you, the audience, in the right frame of mind, one of being unwilling to listen to what she has to say.
Because the witch goes "I guess you'd rather have the star than the moon", which is to say that, "oh, well, you came here for something else", and she pulls up an obviously grotesque, demonic partner. And the audience gets to watch a painted-up babe sing a catchy jazzy schlager in an overly sweet backdrop. The fact that she's doing something horrible - giving in to a demon - doesn't disturb the audience nearly as much as what came before, because she's not yelling anymore, and she bears herself like a sexy pop star, and this is basically what the audience (of eurovision especially) came to see anyway.
But the Moon in the backdrop is blue, which is to say sad, melanchonic, anxious, and when she tells the audience that this is how she feels after giving in to their (and the demon's) demands, she snaps out of it, and you see her back in reality, floating as a possessed person. That's what the "sacharrine hell", the jazzy part, was doing to her! Now back in "reality", she breaks out of the posession, falls back to the ground, gives a triumphant little yell (remember that little "YEH!" for latter!), and relights her protective circle of candles, to ward off the saccharine crap. And then she swears to the audience - and the deamon - that even if they beat her, she will haunt them in their nightmares for it XD And then she repeats, harshly, "You're living a lie", and you get a shot of both her and the demon's faces this time, even, to really bring across what "the reality" is.
And then she surrenders to the demands of the audience again, this time "losing" completely, and gives them what they want. A sexed-up lolita doing cabaret and singing a pleasant song. She even lets the Demon undress her to the cheering of the audience, and then the demon triumphantly "displays" her in that risque spin (where you said she flashed the audience the previous time you reacted). Yes, yes she did - but it's the demon spinning her around to the cheering of the audience!
The Trans-colored leotard, though, is a hint that neither the demon nor the audience are getting **exactly** what they wanted, but they are all too distracted by the sexy to see where this is going.
Because, when you'd think she surrendered completely, and that it's all just sin and perversion from there on out... The lighting goes red, and she isn't singing that sweet, catchy tune anymore, but has changed into a soulful, James-Bond like aria. And as the chandelier lifts, she sings that the "romance" - the giving in to the demands - is draining her hollow and making her unbearably miserable.
And then, with that big scream, and that music drop - she breaks free!
And, blink-and-you'll miss it, as she frees herself, she again gives that little "YEH!", signaling that she's still that scrawny, very unpleasant, but very sane and very smart and massively pissed off little wise woman that was yelling at you to stop being a demanding, leery creep before XD
Except you, as much as the deamon, are now stuck drooling at her like the idiots you are. XD
And the wise little woman gets the last word. Except she's done with words, as you only ever wanted to hear soothing lies about how everything is sweet and peachy when it very obviously wasn't. So what you get is to be triumphantly screamed out of existence.
Well, that and she does remind you - she "spoke to destroy" a deamon, not conjure one up. It was already there, and it was pissing her off to no end.
Now go rewatch it, pick up the lyrics. It's not just art, it's a very, very, very good piece of art. Jesus would very much approve, too.

I wasn't sure about the song when it was picked a few months ago but when I saw it last night I preferred Irelands song compared to Switzerland.
