I'm 31 and starting my diploma next week, so glad i found your channel like you said its hard finding other aussies talking about this stuff. Love your enthusiasm!
Wow, I feel like I've just got on a roller-coaster of emotions here 🤣 thanks for sharing all the infos. Feeling a bit relieved now. I'm also in my 30s and working full-time.
I feel you! Lol . I am the only Asian in our class and everyone is Aussie. And I'm dreading to come to school everytime coz I don't have anyone to talk to.😅 I'm an Enrolled nursing student as well.
Cool video.. thanks for taking the time to make it.. :D Shout outs from Brisbane.. awesome content.. all the best with your new career.. Please keep these video's coming.. :D
But my school is fine haha? A year later and I’m almost finished, have had the best experience, got high commendations by both facilities I’ve attended for placements and the place I chose to study because it was less days than tafe and suited my schedule, has gotten me there? I’m unsure why so many people who haven’t studied there will keep telling others to go elsewhere. You get out what you put in. I’m a hard worker and I’ve made it work for me. Their communication may not be there strong suit BUT the staff and lecturers are amazing and I am grateful for what I’ve learnt so far ❤
love your content, i applied for nursing and got told 4 months alter i got in and to start next week, it was unexpected and so i declined my offer, feel like with my adhd i will struggle to retain the info.
That is so sweet! Thank you so much ❤ honestly once you have your ADHD is under control. Definitely try! I am coping just fine. BUT I have OCD ASWELL which helps where I lack with ADHD. All the best hunny xx
Hi Halley, thanks so much for your video- it has helped me to decide to study Nursing at IHNA. I will be starting this July and wanted to know what I need to buy for the course? Any other helpful tips that you think might help me on my journey would be much appreciated. Thanks, Brittany 😊
Hi I was due to start next Monday, and now they’re telling me it’s delayed again due to issues with funding (WA fee free from gov). Did you face any issues with them on that? They seem to only email me the Friday before the Monday it’s supposed to start, so frustrating to book leave again to be told they don’t know when I’ll be able to commence. 😢
Hello. I am planning to apply for Diploma of Nursing in IHNA. May I ask how long the semesters are? And how long are the semester breaks and summer breaks? Thank you for your reply.
Hlo mam, i am from india and i got 68 overall in pte but 62 in writing and i am from medical background i got 68% in class 12th. So can i apply for nursing in Australia
Am greatful that i just watched your videos channel now i am currently working with StJohn Ambulance Service as a emergency first responder in Papua New Guinea i really love working with critical care about emergency first responder but i want to enrolled as a CHW Courses in Australia sponsorship visa.please reply
Hi Joe! Sorry I really don’t know anything about visa processes and sponsorship so I’m not going to be helpful for that, but I wish you all the best with your journey!
Hi darling! Thank you ❤ off-shore as in international? You would just sign up online as an online international student I believe! I’m not entirely sure sorry! 😊
Hi! It really depends on how you learn. If you can learn online and retain and understand the knowledge then go for it! Me personally, I like to be in the classroom and labs hands on learning.
Sorry I’m unsure what you mean, in terms of examination system.. but if it makes any sense, we are “examined” a few different ways: In class Exams, Short Answer Assignments, Essays, Multiple Choice and presentations.
I rocked up to IHNA on the orientation day just to be told it wasn’t on. Over a week later they finally sent an email saying that the orientation would be over a month later. Their communication issues shouldn’t be accepted.
Such a shame! Also, so sorry but I had to remove your other comment because your opinion was based off your crappy interactions with the school, you didn’t actually get to start and study with them so it’s false information to say they are no good and TAFE is better. You are 1000% entitled to your opinion but it is my account that gets slammed :( That is totally fine queen! Everyone will have a different opinion and experience! Mine hasn’t been perfect but I’m almost finished now and have had high commendations on my performance at nursing placements in one of the biggest trauma hospitals in Perth, and that’s got to be a testament to my learning and skill set. You get out what you put it and once you start you don’t have to really deal with admin and stuff thank gosh! The lecturers and professors are amazing! I have actually mentored 4 batches of TAFE students through my workplace in their first placement and you guys have it very easy and your facilitators are lovely!! So whilst TAFE has better communication, you can’t justify saying in general that it’s way better haha. I really Hope your journey is going well and you get out of it what you hope and you’ll be an amazing nurse ❤

You should have gone to TAFE instead. Nice and simple, especially when you have other commitments.

Hi.. I want to ask something that what is examination system of enrolling Nurse course? Is this assessment based course or examination ?
Sorry I’m unsure what you mean, in terms of examination system.. but if it makes any sense, we are “examined” a few different ways: In class Exams, Short Answer Assignments, Essays, Multiple Choice and presentations.
Could you please tell me which days will be the classes?
It is different for every intake! Sorry! ❤

Sorry I’m not sure what you’re asking? And I believe you can apply for the diploma aslong as you can read/write and speak English well ❤
Does this course help in getting PR? How much is the salary of enrolled nurse
Yes
Yes it does, and the salary is different per area/specialty/type of position etc.
Better to study in university the Staff wasn’ good no worth of study from IHNA
If I could have gotten into university, I would’ve went that way. Lots of videos about my journey on my channel :)
