I really enjoy watching this old footage of rc flying, this is back when all rc planes were built by hand and were all gas or nitro powered..... and only had "fairly" reliable radios
The big problem with the dridecker is weight ratio. You can see the engine is pulling the aircraft down. Theres no counter weight in the C of G. This would help landings a lot.
Many of those crashes could have been avoided using FPV equipment like I have on my aircraft. I haven't hit a tree or missed the centerline on a runway in two years!
DId you happen to notice most of the footage is from the eighties and most of the planes were actually build with balsa. All the radios had big long antennas FM, we dont use them anymore. Havent for almost 20 yrs.
Good video , but there are more good flights I hope than bad. Why focus on the bad how does this promote the sport ,I do understand that if you fly you are bound to crash. Perhaps you are trying to save that agony.
It is much harder to fly a model than the real thing. Anyone who can fly a model could easily fly the full sized job.You can't feel with the seat of your pants on the model.
DarkKnight1083 You can get some idea of what I say on a simulator although it is a bit easier than flying the real model or full sized job.Providing you understand the dials and their respective goal posts a full sized job is simple as long as you can fly the model.Being able to fly the full sized job would not help much in flying the model..
Lol i bet u cant fly a real piper if u can fly the model... and if so u definitely cant fly an airbus if u can fly the model. Trust me i know what im talking about... i know people who can fly a glider model but still need a lot of practice before they can even land a real glider not only because a real thing handles different than a model. Have u ever flown a real airplane ?
O.K. I have only flown single engine 6' wingspan models. One of the most important aspects of flying models or full size jobs is stalling speed, especially when it comes to landing. In the"real thing" you are sat in the control seat "feeling" the speed and turbulence with all manor of dials and limits on them.Unless a model plane is very near to you,a bumpy landing is inevitable. There is comparatively much less room for error on a model than on the full size job. With regard to a twin turbo-prop.,the design would be inherently more unstable with a much higher stalling speed -control would require about the same expertise be it the model or the real thing (so I am told by an expert flyer of both ) Model aircraft are not toys; they are scaled in every respect although the un-scaled elements make them very vulnerable to micro-adjustments.
I have seen many crash compilationss......I totally appreciate this hallarious compilation
Most I laughed all day
Laugh, you are a prick.................
@@saab900t16 Those in the hobby laugh. Of course we would rather see success, but even crashing a plane is not failure.
lustig kommentiert! 👏 😉 👍
That's a refreshing change - normally Gee Bees just nose over on landing on these videos.
Fliegen will gelernt sein ;)
Super Video

As for that Bee Gee hitting a tree well that was great couldn't have done better myself!
es ist schon noch lustig

Love the sound effect additions lol
Schöne Zusammenstellung verschiedener Absturz-Situationen ...
Hey Guys the sound effect is fab........aircraft are bent and a sad day. Happy New Year
Mir gefällt die Hintergrundmusik
Bonita colección de accidentes. Saludos
Sound effects make it even funnier.
All of a sudden a gyro seems like a good investment.
Nice gemacht!
Always makes me sad that these beautiful works of art are so mistreated. Some people need to train before flying.
Sadly entertaining sound effects!!
SOUND EFFECTS FAB.............ITS LIKE CHRISTMAS
great video!!

cool stuff
many thanks
Please don't use sound effects and music if the real soundtracks are available.
Fiesler Storch needed flaps just to fly and now you're going to pick up a huge banner with it? I don't think so.
3:46 see the forlorn pilot wailing to the heavens
Man muss Rückschläge hin nehmen
Man, that was a pretty nice Dornier before the gear failure.
To the majority- if the takeoff roll is bad...abort & go home with an easier fix.
Good video
Cool

Try taking off first !!!!!
In the old balsa wood days, well there wouldn't be a second chance on some of these.

Punktlandung mal anders ;D haha
Welches Modell ist das bei 12:30?
+Stefan Gangauf Das ist eine Messerschmitt Me 323 "Gigant": de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Me_323
Landezone unter Flakfeuer?
NICE
Teil 3! :))
great Video stuff but terribke comments + awful additional Sound. What a pity!
1:19. new meaning to "ground loop"...
THEY make me laugh
Gravity a great word

Nice! subbed
F4U Corsairs do NOT like to slow down! Tip stall beauties.
É triste ver tantos aeros se despedaçando.
1:15 : I've done that :) Didn't catch it on tape though.
Band very very crasch big good lachy forma future
Das Schmerzt am Anfang überhaupt so Abstürze
funny germany do shows and its a case of how many models are left in 1 piece at the end of it, for the rest of us its how many models havnt crashed
Me gusta todo
Kaichen wieder gut vertreten......
Wo is der 4 teil
I can never understand model builders' desire to build and then try to fly aircraft that were even trouble to fly as full size planes
whats the music used in the video please?
THATISSADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Haha

auweia - kennen wir Alle
Maybe they should take out air insurance
that is so sad
Das ist Teil 3,es sind nicht drei
Donner und blitzen souden effection be shitten!
It was a shame to see that beautiful Fokker Dr.1 go down like that.
11.06 - MiG-3. Not Yak-3
aua, aua, aua....
Would be better with original sound and without lame comments!
Blurry out of focus and pixalated, SAD. How about 720 dpi next time.
What year was this made?
Komm wir gehen aufs Feld teile flüken
know wonder the Fokker had no pilot ???
You guys must spend all your time building because clearly you don't fly very much!!!
Total sheisse.
lol
FAB STUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
You are not a true modeler unless you have had to dig an engine out of the ground.
Why add moronic sound effects? I refuse to watch any of these videos when sound effects are added. Just leave in the actual sounds.
Solche Nachkommentierung ist unterirdisch. Erst mal selber bauen, und dann fliegen.🤮🤮
MFG Kaichen halt.. Nur nix könner
Mig 3 nicht Yak 3
