I’ve had my building for 11 months and I feel the same as you. I dreamed it, drew it out and waited years. Building it out has been really fun. The loft is one of my favorite parts of it and I went a little crazy with lights and electrical but it’s coming along. Getting the floors done is my last project and then the final move in even though the loft is already got a good bit in it with lots of shelves
The building company was great! The ordering process, design process, and all phone calls were easy. The contractors you get to install will be a total guess but I got a fantastic crew, they worked quick and were incredibly kind!
Looks GREAT! I plan on getting mine started next month. I'm looking at getting a 30X40X12 with a car lift. What made you decide to go with the 14 feet high?
Thank you! Building cost was just shy of 20k here in SW Virginia. I will be doing automotive videos of many kinds of builds and intend on getting a lift at some point in time!
@@austinstumpp Get the lift sooner than later; you won't regret it. I had my 9K installed as the walls were going up. The prices have really come down and quality has gone up on the more inexpensive units. Get a direct lift one with long hydraulic cylinders over a cheaper one with chains for lifting, FYI!
Nice. I enjoy seeing people win. To set a goal and accomplish it is awesome. Looking fwd to your build out.

How are you liking your building? I’m in the market in central Virginia and am overwhelmed with all the company’s out there. How was your experience?

I wanted to have plenty of room for any size lift as well as building a loft in the future for storage
10x10 doors will be good. I have big full size truck, even a dually... so I will be looking into 10x10 doors on my new shop.
Great video dude beautiful shop, how much was the cost where you're located? And are ya using it for automotive work, like are ya putting a lift in?
