I'd say it really improve. (drastically) it is very hard to hear this improvement from the original with generic earphones. but with audiophile grade, you'll hear those stuff and things have really gone better. (I always have generic ones and audiophile grade ones so there would be no bias and would cater a large audience when trying to say my opinion) tho if you've been listening to the original religiously, some part will tick you off or make you feel something is amiss. anyway overall as stated by re;TYE this one has better quality. also with addition of Mero

Not only is the arrangement well mixed with the instrumentation and beautifully scored with colorful solo lines and lush harmonies that showcase each vocalist's talent individually and collectively as an ensemble, but the adaptation of the original Japanese lyrics into English is spectacular. The imagery of a couple's love for one another as the stars shining through the night, defiant of the tragic fate that awaits them, is nothing short of splendid poetry.
Thank you so much for this. I actually finished Your Lie in April three weeks before this was posted. Such a beautiful show... The visuals alone made me cry, this song made me cry, and I cried so much more during the whole run, including the last episode making me sad enough to be in the shower for over an hour (I needed that). This anime... It is such a blessing in my life. I needed something to make me feel emotional for once after a few months. This did it. And now watching this, I reflect and loved every moment, even the tears. Thank you for this.

TYERecords was a project using all the original instrumentals, however we ran into a lot of trouble with YT blocking many of our videos (Snow Halation included). re:TYE is a new project with only a few key members where we have a bit more control and we are able to purchase licenses to cover these songs with less risk on our side to having these blocked or restricted. Additionally, we are able to support the original artists more and put funds back into many talented instrumentalists/artists who help make these covers with us (thanks to widely to patreon and money from our own day jobs/bank accounts!). re:TYE also helps us make our music available for purchase and streaming on other sites, which we were not able to do with TYER. We wanted to provide fans of our work more opportunities to purchase and stream our music (i.e on itunes/spotify), which was heavily requested. Our goal is to hopefully remaster and recover some old TYER favourites (some of which we have) for our long time and new listeners. I'm guessing one of the singers sang their parts remotely, because on both this version and the original, the sound just isn't mixed to match on that one. Since it was probably done on on a different microphone, it just sounds different. It's the only thing keeping this from being the best english version of this song. But it's still an incredible work. Well done!
